  1. An alternative to this could simply be NOT having to wait several hours for a break-in request to get accepted. I'd be more than happy to see this rule changed, allowing players to rob others using vehicles, as described in the original post, only allowed for official factions however. +1
  2. my condolences, ZaE. I hope the death of your virtual gang banger did not take such a heavy toll on your mental health and I sincerely hope you can resume living your day to day life. Such a tragedy is, well, hard to process and will take some time. I've personally been through this gut wrenching pain myself, when le big homie Ronald Watts cried to admins to get un-pk'd from a war just to lose again.................... my character also passed away....... i was in tears, weeping, sobbing, tears running down my face like a waterfall. I could taste the salty tears, but what it really was, was the taste of pain.... and the vengeance of Ronald Watts............................... get well soon brother
  3. time to bring this bacc to light
  4. HUGE W, congrats on official yall
  5. I completely get that and I never said "ya'll dont want to add them". I said that ya'll didn't add a lot of mods that were directly linked from GTA5Mods, which afaik, are public mods available to everyone. Regardless, I understand that there's limitations for certain clothing mods (file size etc...). My point was that I am a little disappointed with what we got vs. what we assumed we were getting. With all that said, i appreciate the effort you all put into the pack. I know modding GTA5 is a pain in the ass and I can't imagine how headache inducing it has to be to mod into the server.
  6. +1 on the male part, especially. While I understand that most of the stuff we requested for males was a little too big, there was barely ANYTHING added to the server that we requested (during the illegal community focused clothing update). What we got instead was like 3 denim jackets, 2 bomber vests, more ULSA clothing(?) and weird lore-friendly sweaters. That did not occur to me as an Illegal community focused update at all but I'm glad we atleast got a few pants and rings in. Definitely need more shoes and DEFINITELY NEED BELTS AND BACKPACKS!!! (MCM backpack mod, please...)
  7. Strongly agree with this, higher income areas = better loot. Although, I must argue, even in Davis you should have an (even lower) chance to find things like jewelry. Buddha pendants or cubans, hell expensive shoes too. Maybe some lock-picks? This idea's yet to be really explored, honestly. There's a lot of things you could do with receiving script items from these houses. If it sticks to boxes of course, that wouldn't be bad either simply because it lets you ICly decide and RP what it is that you just found and sold. big +1 on this suggestion
  8. lmfaooo yea it all boils down to luck unless you've scoped something out prior. Or maybe it's about the admin that picks it up? who knows lol
  9. Ah, of course. "Hire more admins". Apply for that position then and pick these reports up. There's been plenty instances where there have been 7 admins on duty ready to take reports (and even more roleplaying) yet you'd still wait for over 2 hours to get a break-in accepted. That's of course, IF it gets accepted. I've made plenty /breakins, waited so long I even forgot I had put one up and left the server after playing for 4-5 hours RPing with my friends. It's tragic the way it is and this suggestion is meant to replicate that feeling of finding something rare just like in a /breakin. You're acting as if this chance was 99%. If you read my suggestion, I said one in every 10-15 houses. That's a VERY low chance considering these /robhouses have 24HR cooldowns. Also, this server already has many RPG aspects to it already except with these break-ins, you actually RP with others, create scenes and whatnot whereas with things like trucking jobs you just run around and spam Y. There's a BIG difference. And please, you're saying "NPCing drug deals?" as if I just made a suggestion that would even come CLOSE to something like that. Nothing about this is NPC'd, /breakins aren't NPC'd just because an admin's watching you and giving you items? It's literally the same thing without admin supervision lol. Police and players alike have the exact same opportunity to intervene as during a /breakin.
  10. I can agree with this. As much as I'd LOVE to find guns via the /robhouse script? It just wouldn't be good for the server. Wouldn't gun suppliers (not completely) lose their value? What's the point of having a plug if you can find guns in properties? Until we're able to do solve other underlying issues within the server with guns, I think we shouldn't let people get guns from /robhouses, keep it /breakin strictly.
  11. Maybe it's my lack of experience but "making a list of houses with guns" is a LOT harder than you make it sound. Never in my (ungodly amount) of time RPing have I ever known about a property that would have guns inside 100%, only if it was my faction's stash house which I obviously wouldn't rob. Most players keep guns on themselves anyway and I've yet to break into a property (via the holy /breakin request) and find a single weapon. Huge props to you if you can make a whole LIST of houses which have guns in them lol! As far as I'm concerned a vast majority of people who do break-ins hit houses by random or by an estimate location. Of course there's people that find out about a stash house ICly but that has unfortunately never happened to me yet lol. To address your third point, can you not do the exact same thing with a regular /breakin? Lying to administrators is strictly prohibited but what stops someone from saying "Oh I picked this house out randomly"? More suspicious if it's inside of an apartment building, but you get the point. While the point you make is not at all invalid, it would obviously be against the rules and would need to be monitored.
  12. W INTERACTIONS!!! this fac deserves official before any other fac tbh. insane work put into it
  13. While this is an interesting suggestion, I'm afraid that a vast majority of players who RP things like street races and whatnot would just be even more of an inconvenience. I've been ran over by Le japanese tuner car going 130 MPH through legion square one too many times and I'd hate to get ran over by Le japanese tuner car going 160MPH. Until we enforce speed laws heavier and more strictly I'd keep this suggestion for later. Not a bad idea at all, with the "get caught and have the car destroyed" idea to make it fair it's actually kinda solid. It's just not fit for the server at the moment i feel like.
  14. I'd also prefer it as an actual RP item instead of a high value box, that is if it's even possible to make it happen. As for the phone idea, it's not at all bad but what's the point? You wouldn't have any contact names on it or anything...
  15. The up to 10k is a stretch. It'd be cool to see it adapt to the price of whatever rare item it is i.e a Buddha pendant would let's say be 8k versus some designer clothes would be 2,5k. Again, regardless of what it is, finding anything other than a 1k box would be rare. Preciate the +1s
