  1. I'm upset, I thought there were more interior variants for Marquis loool Wink wink nudge nudge $5
  2. Yeah, if someone was motivated there's plenty other ways than making an XMR and hoping you come to the club that night, then getting lucky connecting the IP to your character after testing quite a few... the privacy risk is overblown.
  3. I'm not talking about custom interiors. I'm talking about customisable interiors. Props. Surely I should be able to add a prop? There's toooons of little things I'd love to add to flesh it out, examples of which I have put above. Just because it's a vehicle doesn't exclude it from being a domicile. The two are not mutually exclusive. See RVs for example - some people live in them exclusively. Should they not be able to put dirty clothes on the floor or whatever for immersion? "so inherently customization will be minimal" @Doosty That's exactly what I want. Minimal customisation. Those little props to make it more personalised. There's no real argument against this unless there're technical limitations I'm unaware of.
  4. "Added new yatch interiors" So why is this vague piece of info there? Interiors plural. I thought it meant interior variants for the Marquis, the only Yacht available discounting the massive floating Superyacht. Exactly what interiors have been added and how do I access them?
  5. The idea is so simple that a format is not even necessary. I don't get it. It serves no real purpose. I know I'm playing on GTAW and from the changelog I can tell which revision, it just contributes to HUD gore. Anyone oppose this?
  6. Yes, remove that reticle baby. Get into 1st person or judge where the middle of the screen is. With 1.1 coming soon, this would be amazing. Also, set the shooting skill to 0 for all players so it's not as much of a fucking laser beam. RN it's set at 100. I fucking hate HUD. Especially the 'GTA World V1.9.7' shit that clogs up my bottom and breaks immersion whenever I notice it. Why the shit is that even there? lol
  7. HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAAHAAHAHAHAAA If this happened, you may as well call Nervous by the honorific Basileus, because that's how Byzantine this would be.
  8. There's not a really reliable way to identify who a player is through IPs. Especially if tons are listening to it! One way it could be abused is if you pinged the IPs and cross-referenced with the player list 'O menu' those in the club to see if their ping's increased. If you have the correct target, their ping should increase, then lock on and flood with extreme amounts of data to shut them down. That's just about the only way, and it's convoluted. I doubt anyone would set up an XMR and even then, they'd have to have some capacity to consistently attack. The average person couldn't do shit. Better ways of fucking you over as well. TL;DR don't worry about it lol

  11. What do you mean @Marksman? I want them to have the same functionality as normal interiors. E.G. property inventory, change weather, whatever. Rather than the interior being tied to the outside of the boat like a vehicle, I believe it should be tied to the insside as this is essentially a floating domicile. Also by furniture I mean like... you know, small stuff. Not interior decoration. But like a painting on the wall, a record player, a guitar, a sponge next to the sink etc! I can't see any barriers to this script-wise. I can /dropitem inside and it'll be persistent. The interior is persistent it seems. It just lacks the functionality afforded by proper properties in terms of commands.
  12. Short description: We need pinventory and the ability to add furniture to the inside of these. Detailed description: Every command you can do with a property, you should be able to do within the interior of these vehicles. Commands to add: The ones that apply to other properties. Items to add: N/A How would your suggestion improve the server? Functionality. Additional information:
  13. Update 1.9.6a Additions Added a new dealership at the Airport for new players to improve the new player experience A new player will be able to buy a car (out of 4 choices) at $450 which will be limited to 50mph until they obtain their driving license, similar to rental cars, and which will be kept until a new car is purchased As soon as you have another vehicle or already a vehicle, you will not be able to purchase these vehicles Facebrowser is now back on phone! Added new yatch interiors What does this mean? Does it regard the Marquis? I cannot use /pinv or any property-esque commands inside the interior of the Marquis unfortunately. Can someone please halp?
  14. The amount of crackers living in Grove Street because it's Grove Street makes me sad
  15. I am making this topic to start a discussion as it seems everyone isn't on the same page regarding melee fighting in-game. As you're quite aware, there's two types of melee fighting: script and RP. The former involves spamming LMB and manipulating desync in order to down your opponent and in my experience is widespread, with small weapons being asspulled (legitimately, as per the rules) and used to run up on foes. /mes are used but the knocking out is done scriptwise. The latter involves quite obviously /me and /do with time given to react and is used to create a scene rather than lay your opponents flat-out. In my personal experience, I have RPed fighting among friends and faction where I know they won't aim to drop me, but in the vast majority of situations against other players I have been on the giving and receiving end of the LMB spam attack and have had no complaints until now. I had a situation with @Chey and another player last night which prompted me to start this discussion as I believe everyone is not on the same page, which they really should be in order for a fair environment to flourish. I argued that script fighting is a valid route since it's scripted as a weapon just like a gun is - and that running away in itself is a roleplay reaction, and that literally everybody I've encountered engages in it judging from experiences derived from both my criminal character and gangster alt. Especially on my gangster alt where in Davis, Rancho, people frequently run up on you with ye olde spam! Chey argued that I should report whenever script fighting occurs in that sense as it's powergame. However, Chey's standard is visibly not in line with what I've predominantly encountered across the server. I had in fact never heard a complaint about it up until that moment which suggests to me the SAMP-imported behavior of scriptfighting - as opposed to fully RPing it out with zero scriptfighting as I used to on OwlGaming MTA - is somehow wrong etiquette which I share with the majority of the players I've encountered. Chey simply voided the situation on account of me knocking the other out via scriptfighting. I will attach the video here for reference to the type of fight that went down. No punishments were dished out. https://streamable.com/hoojlq Keep in mind that this situation is strictly for reference and the discussion is a general one. A few ideas to kickstart: Does the status quo of scriptfighting or perhaps other players' play to win mentalities necessitate scriptfighting as a legitimate means of attacking and defending from other players? It seems you're in a disadvantage if you get rushed on and don't attack defensively out of RP ideology. With regard to powergaming, "It is not allowed to force actions upon another player" - does the rushing of others with scripted weapons fall under this as the weapons are indeed scripted and they've even implemented a /helpup command and allowed the asspulling of melee weapons? The reason you don't have to /me pulling guns out is because the situation erupts too fast for you to realistically type out a /me to draw in comparison to the fraction of a second it would take you to draw said weapon, hence the exemption. Does the inclusion of melee weapons in this list imply that knives, knuckledusters are to be, or can be, used in a scriptwise manner? Is a 1v1, 2v1, different from say a group brawl in terms of rules? Should there be regulations to state this, for example the requirement of both parties agree OOCly in 1v1/2v1 to script fight in case one prefers RPly being beaten up? Is scriptfighting a legitimate attack or blatant PG? As I initially stated, I just want the community to share their own experiences with melee fighting and perhaps come to mutual agreement on proper etiquette as to me it's blatantly obvious that hasn't been established. According to Chey, scriptfighting, in its current widespread, is against the rules. However, the majority of you can see that this supposed rule is not enforced whatsoever. Discuss.
  16. Being forced to spill details of a case file after being kidnapped under the threat of death doesn't fall under 'corruption rules' at all. It's not corruption in any sense of the word. Corruption requires intent. Unless the PD member arranged OOCly to be kidnapped so he can leak the information - which would be MG anyway - if an OCG takes the as you said incredibly drastic measure of kidnapping a detective to force him to reveal things they know he definitely knows of, and the detective spills the beans, there ain't shit the PD can do about it or they'll be metagaming by manipulating a totally IC situation through OOC means/threats. There is no such thing as hiding behind "OOC permission" to divulge IC information being obtained through forceable IC means. That's metagame. If the cop voluntarily offered it, that's intentful corruption and they can be punished by your intrafaction regulations. "The current rules do not balance the risk that the criminals are taking when they kidnap the detective and coerce him to speak up, and the amount of time it takes to build those case files. Case files on criminal groups or gangs take literal months to years of people's time. No one wants all that time to be wasted." The criminals can get CKed as a result. By your own admission, they are taking a huge risk. If pulled off properly, there wouldn't be traces of the detective for you to hunt them down. Their entire faction, which took "literal months to years of people's time" to develop, could be shut down. It is clearly proportional and there is hypocrisy in saying that it's not. You might not want your case file to be found out, but we don't want our organisation to be RICO'd.
  17. Ok great, I will make sure to do some example RP prior to doing it so I can showcase.
  18. In the app it shows "Screenshots of your serial removal roleplay (past or present):" If I wasn't a serial remover before, I won't have past SSes If I am applying for it now, why would I have present SSes lol Can anyone tell me what to put there? N/A?
  19. Nice, advocating for more pointless OOC restrictions. Just take their riced out car away from them forever lmfao it's the consequences.
  20. Short description: Felon GT needs rear seats. Detailed description: The Sentinel has the same rear seats which in base GTA you can't enter, but you can through the update. It seems Felon GT has been neglected due to its rarity in comparison with the common Sentinel. Commands to add: Compatibility for rear seating and /exitvehicle Items to add: N/A How would your suggestion improve the server? My car would have double the functionality. Additional information: plz add
  21. Implying the person installing the tracker can break into it and has enough time to mess around with the electronics or framework. In a lot of cases, it will be hastily put on.
  22. To be honest locating it with RP would also suffice. If it was completely hidden like in some remote part of the engine block maybe, but most trackers are just put on the underside of the chassis, so if you RPly suspect it, should be able to find it unless it's hidden extremely well.
