  1. Can you send me your contact details?
  2. If you were confronted with this new reality without any preparations, then yeah, I'd agree that would be a problem. That's more a concern for a potential implementation though, not necessarily anything against the concept.
  3. Because, as explained, its expensive to fix. Its like a package that was bought, and fixing it on your own is hard, buying an update is expensive and probably a lot of work too.
  4. Offering the starting bid.
  5. Has it been serviced and maintained recently?
  6. I'm looking for a little more than thirty, sorry.
  7. Polls on this are pretty useless, because a lot of people way want to see a revamp, but they'll disagree on how it should be done.
  8. This should be under suggestions really. A trucking revamp should focus on increased interactions with other roleplayers, and I don't see any of this in your post.

Best do that without using /s !
  10. Lack of body cameras.
  11. Still for sale! ((Please state your offer and contact information in a reply to this post.))
  12. I'm all for clarifying the rules if they are unclear. However, people not knowing what the rules are can just go ahead and read them. These changes were communicated clearly at the time, and they can be found in the server rules which everyone is obligated to read. But admins aren't needed to approve every illegal thing! There was a significant problem that occurred after IFM decided that 'in broad daylight' was no longer a consideration that players needed to make when performing illegal acts in public, such as robberies. This resulted in an increase in robberies to the extent where you could measure what the current robbery meta was. We can track BF400 sales before and after the rule change, which clearly demonstrated that barely anyone was using these because it was 'realistic to do so', but they were mainly used because they were relatively fast and relatively cheap, an ideal vehicle to perform robberies with. This problem was eventually, after quite a while I might add, addressed by an early iteration of the current robbery rules. This resolved 'most' of the problems with the extreme amount of robberies that had happened at the time. This is what I can see from my experience, your mileage may vary. That doesn't mean admins have to approve every illegal thing that we can do. The rules on this are about robberies, not about 'every illegal thing'. Again, if you can come up with a solution to the aforementioned problem that is better than the rules set we currently have, then lets hear it!
  13. No arguments from my side on that. I think everyone would be happier if reports were picked up faster.
  14. But all of what youre saying is already possible, right? You can /report and request permission. That way, it is verified that there is planning going on. Its better for everyone except those who just want to rob whoever they see moving without any planning. Better for victims because they know the roleplay was done properly, better for serious roleplayers because they dont get the stigma of being lumped together with low effort loot hunters.
  15. What is your better-than-the-current-rules solution to the obvious problem we had before (these rules were implemented) and which has been described in detail in this thread already? Otherwise this thread serves no purpose.
  16. Keep in mind that generally, roleplay is niche when there is barely any script support for that direction of roleplay.

I considered that too, but as far as I know, materials and surfaces like that don't have particular material properties, so this is essentially impossible. The extra level would be taking the proximity one notch down from the shout, normal, and /low ranges, as described in the suggestion. That would represent the barrier.

Just to be clear, that's what the suggestion says. Normal talking only in /low range from the door. Shouting only from normal range. And if you're using /low in range of the door, you wouldn't even be able to make out the words, just that something is being said by someone, but nothing else. As for mging where people live, you can do that without this suggestion. You don't actually get OOC information through this concept, right? So the mg would already have been done beforehand.

I just dont understand this. What about is this mg? You're not getting any OOC information, right? Also, keep in mind that this would only cover stuff said near the place where'd you'd enter from. Not the entire property.

Can you explain this? I dont get it.
  21. This has potential and I'd like to see this implement, just with a few considerations in mind. It should have no effect on the vehicle registration fee, otherwise this is an extremely expensive prank you can pull on just about everyone. It should be easy and cheap for characters to get new plates (at DMV locations, and garages, probably) which automatically will have the old plates show up as invalid on ALPR if they are being scanned. An issue with custom license plates need to be resolved, because players, in theory, pay for these
