  1. Logically, I am surprised to see rahi badman back in 2021. . . but milk goes in after the cereal
  2. Love the iFruit model, though sadly we use RL phone brands so it would probably need to be modified a little.
  3. Also great, having the items have more uses would make it so we can make more than one item/serving.
  4. I think just a generic 'Groceries' item would be easier to go through, it's broad so you can basically have everything be included there and it's up to the player to judge what they'd buy and not. I'd love to see it be detailed but just 'Groceries' would sure be enough. Massive +1, would also like to see the groceries have either something like 4 charges, priced at like $1000-1200 or just like a normal item (1 charge) with a cost of around $200-500 maybe?
  5. that looks great honestly, hope it happens
  6. Both me, and knppel said we're against the suggestion, other routes should be looked into to free up the market and create movement, not arbitrarily stripping them for people. If you RP around your second property, great! Keep it, that's not the problem, it's the people that don't RP around their second properties and just hoard them.
  7. No, what I'm saying is completely different and I just probably expressed myself wrong or you just choose not to understand. Houses are getting tied up in places they probably shouldn't, and they're also going for prices they have no business going for. Most new characters have the funds to purchase those places, should they do it if it just doesn't fit? No.
  8. So if my character should be poor, I should just get a place in a generally middle class area, even if it doesn't make any sense?
  9. Let me also help you by telling you that Magellan Ave. places are 250k and the Integrity Hotel ones are 185k. The Vespucci Boulevard, Occupation Ave. and Little Seoul places are the only real affordable places, which would have to fit the characters and you can see that there's not really much to choose from, is there? That's about 25 properties that are still available, with 7 or 8 being higher class places. I'm not complaining for myself, my situation's sorted, and I know I could get a place should I want to.
  10. The problem here is, is that while some people own 2 houses, others own none, not because they don't have money, but because they simply can't find one at a reasonable price or at all. A raggedy trailer shouldn't cost 200k, just as a house in South Central shouldn't cost upwards of 200k. Properties on the map aren't unlimited, we can't build more, we can only add as much as the map allows. There'll come a point when there's nothing more to add and everything's owned. This isn't a solution to that, I can tell you that much. I think the better solution would be either a property tax on every property, scaling up for more than one, or atleast some sort of upkeep that's constantly charged, depending on the property, the surroundings and other conditions, to make people that decide that buying or owning a second place is the thing to do without actually doing anything with, think it might not be worth it and they should look to sell or not buy to lighten the load.
  11. Then it's a no deal, really can't do more than 42
  12. just to be sure you can't call the cops with the phone you already don't have
  13. gave my muggers what they wanted so they kidnapped and beat my ass
  14. Most I can really do is something along the lines of 42 thousand.
  15. I can do 40 thousand on the Victor.
  16. shouting is supposed to grab your attention, but when it's white on white, it gets a little tough to differentiate. I don't know how a little color would ruin your experience. it's a QoL change at best, come on... +1
  17. Well, us improper mappers would like to give our inaccurate clicking system the functionality of the list without having to jump through hoops. It won't take anything from you, proper mapper.
  18. Because it maybe doesn't make sense to have to jump through hoops? If I told you that in order to open a gate from inside a yard you had to first jump the fence, open the gate from the outside and then be able to open it from the inside, would you just learn to use it?
  19. It would be amazing to have the Rumpo Custom added, probably one of the better lifted vans, the only problem with it, and the reason it hasn't been added, as I'm sure I remember this being suggested before is the fact that it has bulletproof windows, if I'm not mistaken. Seeing as people can't even stop themselves from trying to get their hands on a 20 damage weapon just because it has a scope, you see where a problem arises. It's an amazing car, but I think it's a little too strong and some people would just buy it for the protection it provides. If it doesn't have bulletproof windows, I'd love to see this added.
  20. Well then, what I was more digging at is that I liked it conceptually in the little time I spent with it, it would honestly take a bit of tinkering with numbers to make it work properly.
  21. I honestly liked the way LSRP did the trucking job, having to take one good from one place to another to get processed and then to the end point which would be a store, garage, w/e. Bonus points if it can tie in with the farming we currently have and maybe a ranch if that's to ever come up.
  22. I was in a situation similar to Frogy's, where a couple of robbers pulled up on my character one one of the streets connecting Spanish Ave. with Hawick Ave. in broad daylight. Alright, they parked up on the sidewalk to block my character and then hopped out to rob her at gunpoint. My character responded to the threat by freezing up completely due to a previous traumatic experience and started to hyperventilate. My character was unresponsive, and they just shoved her into the car (Fine by me). They drove her around to the LS hills, whilst checking her body, taking what little money there was to take and the phone last, which had a code to it. One of the robbers took my character out once in the hills, only to beat an unresponsive, non threat for the passcode to a phone, which they later saw contained nothing of interest. I was at no point stalling, and responded to each of their requests in a timely fashion and I can see why my character's unresponsiveness might make the robbers believe that I'm just trying to stall without prior knowledge, but when non-threatening and clearly unresponsive people get beaten for the hell of it, I think it goes beyond just robbing. A regular robbery would get you plenty of charges, but toss in some more for an uneccesary beating, and a life sentence for a murder that would've wholly uncalled for, I do trully believe that some form of fear RP should be imposed on illegal roleplayers too. In the worst case, muggers, or robbers are caught during the act, but besides that, what other risk do you run when your face is covered, and any distinctive marks are covered, a slight eastern european accent slipping through, which could point the cops nowhere due to the abundance of characters hailing from a similar region with a similar accent? I want to say that I'm actually a fan of losing, I find it fun, because it leads to interesting character development, and honestly, a couple hundred bucks and a phone should really mean absolutely nothing in an OOC level for everyone. It just irks me a bit that robbers would rather risk life in prison over a phone and some money. You don't have to win every robbery, and not every robbery has to end with the civilian getting away, it can be much more fun to lose than win, and can help further a character so much more than constant Ws. What I want to say is that an unresponsive, or uncooperative target should not warrant an instant harsh beating, as it only increases the risk on your character. Am I saying we should make it against the rules? Hell no, some robberies are about sending a message, others just RP very harsh characters or that actively disregard safety or their and others' lives, and in that case, do your thing. But when your character doesn't fit, just don't do it. If your life is in danger as a robber, e.g your target could overpower you, or they have a gun showing or that you know about and they show intent of using it if it meant they get away, by all means protect your life, but when it's not warranted it just shouldn't happen. (sorry for the wall of text) tl;dr robberies shouldn't always warrant a brutal beating, or shots being fired, if the case warrants it, take an L by bouncing from the scene, or as a civilian, just value your character's life more than their possesions, unless the case calls for it on both sides.
  23. And as you have mentioned, I'm not telling you how to RP either, I don't even consider myself good at RPing even though I have some experience with RP, seeing as there's always something you could improve at. I just don't think the outrage is warranted for the change implemented. I also don't think we can even compare a two day period of snow, which is imposed on everyone, with any old player doing something outrageous and claiming it's for fun. If, per say, we were forbidden from accessing Sandy Shores or Paleto because, let's say they were nuked for whatever reason, I'd get it, but it's something that can be explained by just considering it a climate anomaly, something that isn't unheard of.
  24. Also I think people are a bit too focused on realism and are forgetting that RP also revolves around suspension of disbelief, also known as not looking at things in depth all the time so that you can still enjoy a piece of fiction.
  25. I'm guessing that your motivation to RP on GTAW and not Second Life, considering setting alone is that it has the scale and is moderately grounded in reality, not because you thought that it would have a realistic weather system, right? I don't honestly mind losing the snow, hell, if the vote would've gone the other way, I wouldn't have minded it whatsoever.
