  1. Absolutely, it is - this is a suggestion about the new UI's display of the temperature in the top right, though.
  2. Good day, I come in peace as an American looking to potentially have the option to use Fahrenheit in the new UI. Please do not downvote simply for reason American. Even just adding it next to the C would be fine (" 20.7C / 69.2F ") would be more than enough. Relevant Commands/Items n/a How will it benefit the server? Other Americans (and any other country's citizens who are also stuck in olde times) may also enjoy the use of their given temperature measurement system
  3. This is fucking dope. I'm looking forward to encountering ya'll.
  4. I'll go $230k if previous bids fall through. The only condition is that you'll have to pour bleach into my eyes every day until I can get this monstrosity cleaned up. Once the vehicle is in better shape (see: destroyed), you will have to accompany me to any and all eye doctor visits as you and what you have done to this vehicle are the sole cause of my forever-polluted vision.
  5. This goes hard as hell. Stay on it.
  6. I personally cannot stand getting into roleplay scenarios/ getting in-character without having a fleshed-out backstory. It not only ruins my immersion as making it up as I go doesn't feel genuine, but it could also have repercussions down the road for certain character traits or aspects I wish to portray.
  7. It took me a long, long time to realize how much this made a difference in my life and how I viewed roleplaying. I was using roleplay as an escape and not taking care of my own reality. Getting a grip on it is the healthiest option
  8. use gta:w as a fictional space, a writer's outlet, etc not as an alternative to real life
  9. This is the best solution, imo.
  10. casino takeover circa early 2018 if you know you know
  11. I think this is much more of an IC issue than it is an OOC one. If, hypothetically speaking, a company needed security in real-life, and it was more cost-effective for said company to create and maintain their own security sector, they would more than likely do just that. It all comes down to the bottom dollar, whether it's a real-life situation or an in-character one.
  12. "Gonna go broke without work."
  13. This thread goes hard. Keep it coming.
  14. Growing up in East Los was hard enough to begin with, let alone growing up in El Burro. Dario experienced no exception, spending 99% of his time in the Heights trying to flip a few dollars into more. His parents, having been second generation Mexican-Americans, constantly worked to keep food on the table for Dario and his siblings. This, sadly, led to Dario being left on his own the majority of his childhood and teenage years. He spent time with the local neighborhood kids, namely the Vargas and the Lozano brothers. While he is slightly older than most of the people in his circle, he never let that bother him, as they took him into the group without issue. Around the age of 22, Dario began working a handful of different labor jobs, dragging up here and there to move on to a different gig. By the age of 30, he had experienced a handful of different trades; he worked in the oil fields, he had spent time at the port, and had moved cargo for various different companies. Dario remained unsettled in work life; nothing kept his interest for longer than a year. This lack of passion was a direct drive in his search for something more, something meaningful. Having a knack for problem-solving and chasing down technical issues, he ended up working on small and mid-size engines; his wrenching abilities securing him work for the foreseeable future. Dario, along with his neighborhood friends (Sergio and Isaac Vargas, Nathan and Hugh Lozano), as well as a few others, had formed together when Sergio was released from prison. They called themselves the Caballeros, and after much deliberation from the other clubs on the scene, were granted permission to fly colors and the MC / 1%er patch. The group, enamored with the newfound lifestyle they lived, started getting themselves into trouble with both the police and other organizations who called Los Santos their home. The road became somewhat rocky as they dealt with situation after situation, each splintering the group further as agreements were hard to come by at the table. Money had become unfathomably tight for the club as several different income streams dried up; the club was unable to afford their lifestyle any further. Mercy came in the form of a vote; the gavel fell on a resounding “yea”. The club was no more, hereby disbanded. Members turned in their kuttes and were free to do as they please. Many left the state, in search of greener pastures. Some remained, staying true to their roots; East Los. Some, like Dario, stayed in-state, but decided on a change of scenery in contrast to the concrete jungle that sprawled from the coastline to toe of the mountain. Dario was north-bound, heading for the county. He was ready for a slow-down. This thread will follow the story of Dario Melendez, a former Caballeros MC member who continues to search for somewhere permanent to call home.
  15. This isn't my burner account but I agree with every single point made here.
