Yeah but LCN doesn't modernly behave like they used to. A lot of LCN rpers come to it wanting to basically recreate their favorite Sopranos moments and quotes.... truth is, LCN doesn't behave like that AT ALL. They are very white-collar oriented. Most of their modern crimes are credit card frauds, idenity theft, and some hacking. It's very modern and you can find plenty of sources that tell you this is how it goes now.

Muscle isn't as valued in LCN because Muscle leads to attention. And when your balls have been lopped off by Juliani and his Rico trials, you gotta do what you gotta do to earn your nut. Extortion, pimping, drug dealing, arms dealing, casinos, etc... this is just NOT how the Italian mob works modernly. Not in NYC, not in NJ, not in Chicago, not in LA, and not even in LV.

But if you're talking about introducing a group that is wanting to portray a modern LCN, I don't see the harm. I just don't know if it will be very active because you pretty much are doing white-collar crimes and most people who do illegal rp want those movie moments. Paying a hacker to get card numbers a la scheme isn't for most people.

All due respect to this kid Gallagher, but he's way out of line talking about the old school mobsters the way he is. On Habbo Hotel, the online virtual hangout for teens, our crime family - the Bolognese - was the first to use the grey carpet rug furniture item (cost: two credits) as stretches of road. (This was before proper road furniture was added to the game.) It took other crime families years to start copying our furniture design processes. We were also the first to get /masked associate characters to play as strippers, because at the time there were no women on the server - and we did not believe women were seriously minded enough to engage with the Cosa Nostra concept.

I also made one of the first boats on the game, using metal divider furniture and more grey rugs. This made roleplaying dumping bodies in the water much more immersive.

People can mock us LCN roleplayers for talking so earnestly about some roleplay that happened about fourteen years ago, but this only betrays their lack of interest in culture and history. The pioneers of the LCN scene made an impact that will be felt for generations still - much to the chagrin of their many critics. Cogito, ergo sum. Veni, vidi, vici.

Bon abeti.

Let's not forget you still owe me on that beef with the sitdown over the thing. Those fuckin Habbo Club sofas were like green gold and this fuckin moron, this disgraziad, I understand he was on record wit' you, he goes and leaves a piss stain on my favorite fuckin Habbo Club sofa. You never made that right. You and that fuckin outfit over thea. Why can't we sit down like men, like the old timers. Gothic table, eight thrones, that was a fuckin sitdown. Not like this mickey mouse shit we got today. Who ever heard of gangsters using Discord? Back when we had a Capo De Tutti Capi, back when this was a thing of honor, it was commission meetings on Skype. Those were men.

I apologize, I'm gettin emotional.

On topic answer is that west coast mob rp is a choice between realism or fun. This isn't the only concept that applies to but it's the most stark example.

Do your research. I'm not going to argue with you. You can have the evidence in front of you, a prolific underboss in the mafia world, and people will still say it's a lie. Listen to the people, you have no idea, are you in the mob? I'll post the video one more time, just for you.

Lol I could tell by how hard you're trying to prove a dead point that you were gonna come with some lame, weak deflection and some irrelevant bs... How come the part I quoted you ignored, yet continued to bring up nonsense that has nothing to do with my reply to you??? Like wtf does sammy the rat have to do with L.A and who tf is he to claim "L.A has always been open territory" when dude is from Brooklyn NY, the whole opposite side of the nation? make that shit make sense.. I dare u to go to L.A acting like shit sweet like you could just go claim "open territory" and see if u dont end up like pnb rock... Foh

It has always been considered open territory. Literally, Sammy Gravano just told you and you want to call it a weak deflection, with ABSOLUTELY no proof to back it up apart from your weak opinion. Why? It's fucking Hollywood, holy shit, there's a lot of reasons to be there. Just like you have gangs across the nation, you have LCN organizations that stretch along the nation. I think it's insane I have to explain that to you. Lol, and the fact you used PnB Rock as an example just means I have no business discussing this topic with you. No gang in LA runs LA. It is open territory lmao. And we're talking about LCN, not gangs, so idk why you brought him up. A mobbed up guy isn't referring to gangs when he's talking about open territory. He's referring to HIS people.
