Yeah but LCN doesn't modernly behave like they used to. A lot of LCN rpers come to it wanting to basically recreate their favorite Sopranos moments and quotes.... truth is, LCN doesn't behave like that AT ALL. They are very white-collar oriented. Most of their modern crimes are credit card frauds, idenity theft, and some hacking. It's very modern and you can find plenty of sources that tell you this is how it goes now. Muscle isn't as valued in LCN because Muscle leads to attention. And when your balls have been lopped off by Juliani and his Rico trials, you gotta do what you gotta do to earn your nut. Extortion, pimping, drug dealing, arms dealing, casinos, etc... this is just NOT how the Italian mob works modernly. Not in NYC, not in NJ, not in Chicago, not in LA, and not even in LV. But if you're talking about introducing a group that is wanting to portray a modern LCN, I don't see the harm. I just don't know if it will be very active because you pretty much are doing white-collar crimes and most people who do illegal rp want those movie moments. Paying a hacker to get card numbers a la scheme isn't for most people.

Considering you can acquire Panda Points without paying a dime better than you can WP by selling PP, it's not the same thing. You can acquire Panda Points without spending any money. Trying to get a meaningful amount of WP on the Panda Market currently isn't so easy. So no I think using more Panda Point based things both increases their value and helps get rid of the dependency on the Pay2RP system that World Points are based on.

First off sorry if this seems more like a PM thing, I wasn't positive what to do with it... I figured since the idea is to not necessarily make the business "ownable" but leasable/workable Detailed Description I know the current state of countyrp seems... lackluster right now, but there are efforts in place by multiple players who want to see county rp revived. I think this includes taking another look at how the county is currently structured. So I noticed out on Route 68 West about half-way between Chumash and Paleto Bay, there is a gas station that players can use and /bjoin at. It has a large Ron store attached to it. The issue I've had working at the gas station section is that MOST people are checking about the store, not the gas. It is a nice looking property and would be a nice business to hopefully attract more people to the area. My suggestion is to make this a business that is essentially a 24/7. It would probably be wise to make it one that is able to be leased, or, similar to the other places that openly accept people who want to /bjoin in a similar manner to what you find on the Inventory system under "Job Offers" > "Recruiting Businesses". The above suggestion would require an interior to be mapped out. If that is not suitable, then maybe we can just make it a public store that doesn't allow the /bjoin and just has the menu at the front door for now? Relevant Commands/Items (if int) /enter /bjoin 24/7 Shop Script (if no int) 24/7 Shop Script at door How will it benefit the server? This can increase roleplay in the area, especially if given the interior and options to lease and / or for players to /bjoin similar to other stores. This can especially attract people if it is shown via the "Recruiting Businesses Listings", as newer players usually scour that for businesses to join at times. Having a working/leasing business in this area can help sort of fill out the county RP by populating one of the main roads that run through the lower county area.

Community roleplay encourages other people to come to the county. Especially if that community starts opening businesses in the areas, establish networking, and can host events. I firmly believe that the County has some of the more fun RP experiences. It's a nice change of pace. IT would only add to the diversity of the server to have both big city rp and small town rp. I myself have been having the urge to revive some sort of county RP and am very excited to see I'm not alone in this. Tongvan approved!
