No, it's not too many foreign characters. 

 

 

In reality it's foreign people who are trying to RP American but mix their own life/personality, wants/desires in their char. and end up RPing their own life, "mate."

Roleplay - verb  act out or perform the part of a person or character.

 

There seems to be many cases, where people forget that the bottom line of what we do on GTAW, is play a game.

 

Whatever a player decideds to RP is down to them, if they want to play a character that is or is not loosly based on them, a character from a TV/Book/Film, or just something that they feel like exploring, it is completely down to that individual.

 

We also have OOC Friends who will come up with new concepts, to give them fresh ideas to Roleplay too.

 

Roleplay is like a massive ongoing story, and you get out it, what you put in, and trying to force a certain demographic on the population, is never going to work, due to the lack of knowledge of the culture or an exaggerated version of it, due to TVs/Films (I'm looking at you, Soprano-esque Characters)

 

End of the day, as long as people have fun, enjoy whoever they play - that should be all that matters, as that is why players will continually return to GTAW.

Sure but at the same time we are, hypothetically, a heavy roleplay server. You can't have James Bond running around and same thing goes for other concepts such as 18 year old straight off the boat foreigners etc.

 

It is up to the player to roleplay something that they enjoy but it should make sense for the universe that we are roleplaying in.
