Is there a reason why people always only insure for 1 day? I see that happen a lot, and... I don't get it. I always insure my car for like 90-120 days at a time, so I don't have to worry about it for a while.

I dunno I pay insurance for 10 up to 30 days usually.

If you are not using it, don't spawn it either then. PD can fine you for having a parked uninsured car.
