xdthe
Short description: It would be more realistic and help with unrealistic response times by adding a one minute or so delay for 911 calls to appear for law enforcement. Detailed description: Currently, police officers can instantly see incoming 911 calls at an instantaneous speed. Now, you might be thinking, what's the issue with this? Well, it's quite simple. In real life, police dispatchers (the people who answer 911 calls and relay the information to units) are not robots. They cannot simply relay information instantaneously to units after taking the call. Dispatchers in real life are humans too, and it takes 30 seconds to a minute for them to fully relay information on average. This wouldn't be an issue if there was an actual dispatch faction ingame with people roleplaying relaying information but it is unfortunately all NPCed through a subpar script. Commands to add: N/A, devs should just implement a delay after calling 911 for the call to appear for units. Items to add: N/A How would your suggestion improve the server? It would resolve one of the most debated issues which is none other than police responses for one. It would add a layer of realism and is both a middle ground for both LEO RPers and illegal RPers. It makes it realistic while not making it overpowered at the same time. Additional information: 10 Link to comment
Engelbert
I agree with this actually. I had few situations, where cops were on site while I was still typing the location. Link to comment
Satanic Chicken
This is probably the best way to fix unrealistic response times +1 Link to comment
DoomedAmerica
Pretty sure most fast response times (correct me if im wrong) come from police being around the corner (mostly in south central) and hearing the gun shots. Link to comment

Mick
Some delay is okay but not 60 seconds. First thing dispatchers do is ask for an address of the location and instantly create a CAD that shows to units on the pending list. This occurs whilst still gathering details and updating the CAD as officers respond to the call. I’d say 30 seconds would be more realistic. Link to comment
