OOC INFORMATION The Santana Blocc Carson Crip group is here to create a realistic portrayal of the Santana Blocc Compton Crips community. Upon joining there are a few things you must complete prior to role-playing with our faction. We would like for our members to do their research and have basic knowledge of LA gang politics as well as knowledge of the Santana Blocc Compton Crip history, including some knowledge of the original two gangs that had merged together to create SBCC. We are looking for members who are ready to provide time and quality roleplay to our faction and ask that if you aren’t prepared to take the faction seriously, to not join at all. We are big on character development and encourage members to start young so they can grow as a character with the rest of the faction. We are accepting members who are willing to take constructive criticism and are willing to learn. The faction itself consists of a combination of American-time zoned (GMT -4 to GMT -8) and European-time zoned (GMT 0) members, so we cater to all kinds of time zones and schedules and you should be able to catch people in-game at any time. Every day is different, so our "peak" times cannot be specified; however, during the weekdays you will most likely catch more members online during the night time and sometimes during the afternoon due to school and work (between 2:00 PM and 12:00 PM). OAKS PARK BUSINESSMEN Davis has always been filled with gangs; Crips, Pirus, Bloods. Walking from one side of Davis to another is a risk, prompting questions of whether or not someone ‘bangs’. Walking home from school had many constantly looking over their shoulders. Youth often feel obligated to join in on street activities so they would have people looking out for them, bringing forward a sense of security. In the 70’s, black politics very quickly went south and black pride became black defiance. Black on black crime went through the roof, as many people preferred to shoot rather than get shot. Slowly, the area was filled with Crips, Pirus, and Bloods, and the smaller gangs within them, such as the Santana Blocc Carson Crips. Formerly known as the Oaks Park Businessmen, the Santana Blocc Carson Crips are a predominantly African-American street gang, established on the Eastside of Los Santos, San Andreas. While some of the Oaks Park Businessmen were good friends with Tookie Williams, who hung around the Grandee Davis Crips (also known as the Nutty Blocc Davis Crips), others were good friends with Bartender, a Piru from Davis. This only brought on more shock when in 1978 the Oaks Park Businessmen and Mid-Town merged together, which was the beginning of Santana Blocc Carson Crips. Bullet Tate, the original founder of Santana Blocc Carson Crips, was killed by a Lueders Park Piru and Turtle Johnson had taken over to carry out Bullet’s plans. The main reason people had been surprised is because many had expected the Oaks Park Businessmen to be Pirus, because of their high school friends and also because they had been one of the few Crip gangs in the Eastside, which had been mainly filled with Piru gangs. When Santana Blocc Carson Crips had originally formed, there had been some tension between the two gangs coming together. Misinformation resulted in members feeling insulted by each other and resisting against the merge, though it was quickly settled before it could blow out of hand and they have been living together as one ever since. With Turtle Johnson as the leader of the Santanas, war was waged on several Piru gangs within Davis, including Lueders Park Piru, Elm Street Pirus, Mob Pirus, and Cross Atlantic Pirus. It didn’t take long for the Santanas to become a big threat to any Piru/Blood/Crip gang that opposed them. In 1989, Turtle Johnson’s reign abruptly ended after he was ambushed and murdered in Vespucci. ALLIES & RIVALS The Santana Blocc Carson Crips are strongly allied with Poccet Hood Davis Crips (Santana Poccets). They are also allied with the Neighborhood Davis Crips and Kelly Park Davis Crips. Their rivals are Tree Top Piru, Mob Piru, Holly Hood Piru, Varrio Tortilla Flats, and all Sureños gangs; however, they are quick to beef anyone who opposes them.
