  1. i've got a job, rent, friends and a life outside of the game. sometimes, i gotta log out, and then the next day, i only got about an hour to log in and try and get some rp going. if i gotta spend a good amt of that driving around bc i suddenly had to log and i happened to be in the middle of the damn road, that punishes me and my rp for having a life outside the game imo. it would mean i now have to even cut my rp short to make time for driving. during the drive there's also rp that can happen that you can't just log out from, which then cuts into my time i should be getting ready for bed and sleeping bc i gotta get up at 6 in the goddamn morning again. then of course, if you gotta /changechar because you need to go AFK, you now are forced to spawn in wherever the hell you happened to be. tl;dr it doesn't add to rp for me and would actually take some away. this is a game and we have lives outside of it. -1
  2. one of the best facs out there still going strong 🔥
  3. Name: TRUTH_SOCIAL Comment: in a country where you can be arrested for guns, we do not have the right to bear arms!!! WAKE UP !!!
  4. the OP in completely good faith: what should we do about characters being needlessly and in many cases OOCly locked away from RP and isolated? yall mfers: create an alt the POINT here was to discuss alternatives to locking a character out of RP / isolating them from RP on an RP server, and how it's existence seems like an OOC punishment and goes against the intended nature of the server itself. if your answer is "simply do not play that character", you have missed the point and are not here for a productive conversation.
  5. i made a post once about how 48 hour investigation hold was essentially an OOC punishment for being adjacent to an illegal scene, and i am willing to bet you're going to get a lot of the same responses. "try not being guilty" and "detective RP is more important than yours", etc etc. good fucking luck. fwiw i think a good compromise for it would be requiring station RPers to visit the holding cells every now and then just so there's *someone* for those locked up to talk to, but even suggesting that got me flamed. it's just another example of how illegal RPers are treated like our time is worth infinitely less than legal RPers, which is an issue that extends far beyond the scope of 48 hour investigation holds, but that's a thread for another time 😉

    POLY TERROR

Poly Terror is a crew of Polynesian and Southeast Asians with a background in gang crime. The founding crew is made up of a group of Polynesian former gang members that developed into organized career criminals over the course of several years. New members are usually characters who have survived growing up in local Polynesian gangs (SOS, TCG, MBZ, etc.) and have settled into whatever illegal rackets that sustain them into adulthood.
  7. this thread has devolved into exactly what it always does lmao
  8. as several commenters have pointed out already, this is an IC issue and shouldn't be used as a basis to further restrict RP. also, i live in the US, and it's a lot more of a wild west scenario than i think many people here might realize. there's a lot of crime, even violent crime, in rich areas, ALL the time. it's literally the entire REASON people have so many cameras, high tech locks and stuff like that. rich characters and rich properties are going to be a target for robberies and crime, that's just a fact of life. take it up with capitalism if you got an issue with it, or like many others have suggested, use your IC wealth to hire a guard, or improve your camera situation. -1
  9. maybe something like this could be used with systems that already exist to make it fit into the rest of the player economy, so something like if you find 50 cans u can do what metallurgists do and get them melted into a metal scrap. it would be a very tedious way of obtaining scrap, but similar to real life homeless scavenging, it takes a LOT of cans or bottles to get some money for lunch. this sort of thing makes sense for homeless characters as well as other characters portraying severe poverty. i think it's a good idea.
