  1. Hooyah and hooah you dirty sluts
  2. I'll be joining as Henry Hill tomorrow. Can't wait, boys.
  3. I don't have a gun license but I own a legal gun. I can go into any pawn shop or gun store and buy a box or 3 of .45 without a second glance. I live in the United States and travel through various states frequently with my firearm without breaking the law. I can also purchase ammo in these states without any prerequisites. If I had the capital I could buy bulk online and not have to worry about ATF or police busting down my door. If what the California posters are saying is true, they can go in a shop and purchase ammo with just a driver's license just like in my home state. Ammo (just like guns) is common in the States. Surely I understand we don't want everyone getting a gun easily on the server, but ammo should not be hard to get. Essentially, what I'm trying to say is the ability to acquire ammunition should not be so difficult as it is in the server currently. I do understand that there is a balance between IRL and server gameplay, but I don't think this suggestion is so far out it would disturb it. I see a bunch of No's coming from some of the posters, but no comments regarding the roleplay it could give like the example I provided. What gives? This is a roleplay server, after all. If someone is roleplaying a trailer park dude named Jim Bean, and he likes shooting his dad's old shotgun (and smoking meth, why not?), it doesn't make sense for him to apply for a PF license just to get some shotgun ammo. It also doesn't make sense for him to go sit down with an illegal weapon supplier for... a box of 12 gauge. Realistically he'd just... walk into the gun shop and buy some ammo. That's it 🤷‍♂️. People here are worried about the abuse it could bring so like I said, just slap a monthly, or whatever, limit on it. I'm not asking for the ability to purchase enough ammo to arm a militia, but rather simply to just buy some rounds! Rule breakers break rules, and when they get caught they get hammered. Them breaking rules should not be the reason something like this gets dismissed.
  4. +1. I've never seen that before. Kinda ridiculous.
  5. What was suggested is suggested. You read through it anyways, so it must've not been all that painful. The point still stands, and I welcome all inputs related to the game suggestion. If its the weird references or how I typed bothering you, shoot me a PM.
  6. Short description: Allow non-firearm licensed players to be able to purchase ammo from a gun shop. Detailed description: It makes zero sense for someone without a PF license to not to purchase AMMUNITION from a gun store. Realistically, I can see a driver license being required. In most states, you have to be 21 to purchase a handgun or pistol ammunition, and 18 to buy a "long gun" (ARs, shotguns, hunting rifles, most two handed weapons) and rifle caliber ammunition. Why should a criminal or average joe with an unregistered/private sold firearm have to rely on Russian mob boss Viktor_Reznov logging onto the server to get something so easily acquirable in the United States like ammunition? Literally building an IC relationship with hardened gun smugglers to buy... a case of buckshot? Is bucktooth Pin_Head_Larry from Sandy Shores supposed to call up crip-walkin', bandana wearin' Tyrone_Smith in Los Santos just to get some 12 gauge buckshot for his father's unregistered shotgun that stays in his trailer so he can go hunt deer in the boonies? It's unrealistic and super retarded. In order to combat the inevitable ammunition pileup, slap a monthly limit on the amount of ammo anyone can purchase who doesn't hold a PF license. Even more-so, add a list that gunshop owners and police detectives can access that displays who bought the ammunition, ammunition caliber, on what date, and how much. Imagine the interaction and roleplay it could bring to LSPD/SD detectives going into a store and getting the sales ledger to provide clues on a shootout. If detectives are eyeballing Vato_Loco from Vatos Locos 13 gang, they can look at the ledger, see his purchase of 300 9mm 2 days ago, connect the shell casings left behind at the drive by, get a search warrant to enter his pad, and find the tec-9 that matches the casings sold in the case from that store and left behind at the crime scene. Boom. We roleplaying, and we roleplaying good y'all. That's what it's all about, you feel me? Commands to add: /checkledger at register in each Ammo-Nation to see purchases made within the last ______. Items to add: How would your suggestion improve the server? My personal opinion, I think illegal RP is a monopoly. Gun prices aren't realistic, and many unrealistic connections are made just to get armed. I get it, we don't want everyone and their kids running around with AKs. Having Miss Suzie the schoolteacher pulling out the AR from her Futo is annoying. However, a lot of petty theft criminal roleplayers suffer because of it. Offer ways to allow everyone to have ammo without having to keep coming back to faction crime_boss. Some dude roleplaying with an unregistered firearm shouldn't have to crawl into the hood or mafia world or motorcycle gang hideout just to get ammo to go shoot his shotgun in the woods behind his trailer. Meth Head dude who sticks up the drunk alleyway victim with his rusty .38 shouldn't be sitting down with some well-dressed arms dealer just to purchase a box of 20 hollowpoints. At that point, I'd leave it up to the gunshop owner to make his judgement IC if he sells it or not. But this current PF-License script implementation limits everything. Additional information: Diamond hands, I ain't selling. $GME baby! TO THE MOON! 💎🤲 But seriously, I think this will do wonders for the average Joe on the server or the petty criminal nobody. Not all of us wanna be a gang leader in the illegal RP world on this server.
