Not changing. They count how fast you drive over the specific time. Its all synced with the GTAV hud miles displayed and the speedometer. If it goes up quick it means youre driving fast or alot.

Doubt it, because a custom item is set globally with a template. And if we want to adjust the weight we have to adjust the db weight so it wont be possible to manually set the weight for each item you make

Some people already started using the "id" of the vehicle to roleplay its age. With this update all vehicles will have a permanent mileage. Every few thousand miles you need to bring your vehicle to the garage to have it maintained to keep it functional. If you choose not to go to a garage and continue driving, the engine will sometimes refuse to start or may shut down mid traveling. These chances are based on how much miles you're overdue to the maintenance. You get a notification 250 miles before the maintenance is required: If you're overdue on the maintenance you also get a notification: If you want to know how long it's been since your vehicle has been maintained, or are you buying a new car and the owner has no last maintenance report. Visit the local garage and get them to inspect the vehicle. You then get a report looking like this: Anti-Theft You will also be able to install an anti-theft system on your vehicle with various levels: 1 - Short range tracking 2 - Long range tracking 3 - Long range tracking + Short range engine disabling 4 - Long range tracking + Long range engine disabling *Not all vehicles go up to level 4. It is mostly the newer models that do. To use the anti-theft, you use /antitheft. Text commands /antitheft - Opens a menu with all your vehicles that have some kind of Anti-Theft installed. You then select the car you need, it needs to be spawned else it returns an error. Once you selected a car it allows you to track or kill the vehicle depending on the level installed.

Its not 250 miles. Thats just a reminder that you need service within 250 miles. You need service every 2k (or sooner with maxed out cars)

The maintenance miles is now set at 2k. Like nervous said it can easily be adjusted if we notice its too long or too short. Eventually its a trial and error which we cannot do on a test server.

Even tho id would be nice imo, it is just not a priority and I forsee quite some issues coming from such system. Ill be locking this.
