  6. It's funny because most of the systems I have mentioned about were listed in my suggestion, a suggestion that was accepted a few days ago.
  7. So what you're trying to say is that the LoJack is not a system that is present in almost every dealership purchased car across the United States, the security and the safety sensors are non-existent and the electric park brake is a thing of fiction. I feel so fucking bad for wasting five years of my life studying sensors and other two working for Renault when I could have just let a random dude from a gaming community tell me that it's all a haox. Thank you bro. You're my hero. Any plans on starting a cult? I would be your no 1 follower.
  8. How do you counterargument something by saying "none of these exist" or "this is a non-existent factor"? Rhetorical questions are not a thing you have ever heard of, I guess.
  9. LoJack, alarms, break-in safety sensors. It's not that simple if you think out of the box. Also, most of the modern cars (late 90s+) don't have an emergency brake lever, but a button which can only used after starting the ignition. Also, please refrain from posting on this thread again, we actually discuss serious stuff here. Cheers. Also, why the hell would someone use /coinflip in 2020?
  10. That is true to a certain extent. The vast majority of GTAs are being handled either by car jacking or by breaking into the owner's house or garage in order to get access to the FOB, because yes, it's easier and less risky to break into someone's property than going all-in trying to steal a vehicle. The suggestion I have posted also implies the inclusion of the FOB keys as items. It would not only be a great addition, but it would actually simplify the way the car thefts are currently handled. Someone suggested a LSRP-like system, please don't. Not only that hotwiring a car is far from being realistic, but it is also based on word scramble system, which can easily be bypassed by using word unscrambling websites or mobile apps. It's a roleplay server, not an arcade game. As much as I hate car thefts via towing, it is probably the most realistic thing that can be done with the current system, however a car can not be towed without having the gearshift in neutral, and the emergency brake obviously. So how would a thief be able to tow a car without bypassing the safety sensors? So, no frequency bypass means no bypass for the locking system, means no to the engine power up, which means no to virtually anything that is electrical based — which means you can enjoy a leftover latte if you're lucky enough to get inside the car. ?‍♀️
  11. As eTaylor mentioned, a car theft ring is part of a later organised crime and it is literally impossible to operate an entire car theft ring as an one man army. Not only you will need to have the whole city linked, but you wouldn't be able to conduct business on your own because bigger crime groups would eat you alive. I think the lack of roleplay fear coming from certain players will also represent a huge impediment.
  12. Don't you believe it an already monopolised market considering that most of the car service owners are not part of legal or illegal factions? Like I have previously mentioned, allowing everyone to have access to this certain feature will only create a deficit regarding the roleplay centred around the illegal factions, because the leasing scheme is made that way. I don't honestly understand why a person would willingly go to a scrapyard to be paid in pennies. The reason behind a chop shop is so that the cars would be stripped off their essentials so that the parts could be sold individually, there is literally no benefit in owning a scrapyard unless you have connections with the underground world. This suggestion is created strictly for chop shops, which by definition is a location where stolen cars are being disassemble for the purpose of selling their parts, hence a suggestion addressed to illegal factions.
