    Could you not set an invisiable property blip on every street and then set the name of it to the street name so people do /gps Grove Street and it's not actually going to the street, but to the invisible property?

  4. I replaced the bedroom with the entrance because I really didn't fuck with the whole vibe. I wanted something smaller and more unqiue, so changing the whole layout was the start to that. This is still WIP, I don't have any money - but when I do, I'll make the floors wood ect.
  5. +1, the animation should probably be laying instead as well. Surely it could be a normal rag doll, extended until the player is static and then they snap to the laydead animation or something?

    Ayo it's another shit suggestion. I play roblox here and there because I'm actually a fucking badman, and I was playing this game on roblox called Miami 1986, and there's a fucking stock market on it. It's not dynamic, and it's not at all indepth - it's a bunch of fluctuating values that are completely random however the admins of the game know when these stocks raise and drop so they leak rumours ect. Now with GTA:W not being targetted at 11 year olds, and with good, competent developers, surely we could have some similar but much better, here's what I think would work. There would be a new government registration, a form S-1 where you register your business publicly to the stock market. The price of your stocks depends on your business activities and revenue which are script monitored via entrances and entrance fee's. I've never touched a stock in my life, so I'm litteraly the last person to know about it, but this was my idea; AMMUNATION BEAN MACHINE VANGELICO All chains, all large companies that have an active store within the city. Let's say Vangelico gets 70 visitors a week, and generates 200k per week. Ammunation gets 50 visitors a week, generates 150k a week. Bean machine gets 30 visitors a week, generates 75k a week. For that week, Vangelico's stocks would be $250 a share Ammmunation would be $100 Bean machine would be $50 The next week, Vangelico only opens once and makes $10,000 with 2 visitors there stock will drop to $10 dollars a share Because of their drop, people want to invest quickly, fucking with the other shares ect. Like I said, I don't know how shares work. But I'm sure there's a way to make an extremely watered down version of the stock market that would work ingame. There are people who do stocks irl on the server, maybe they can add to this. I just think it would be cool, have stock brokerys manipulating the stock market and then get shut down by the SEC, or some cool shit. Idk, I'm probably going to get the piss taken out of me for this on discord because our community is really nice and not toxic.

    Ability to cook foods. You'd need the ingredients and a stove to cook it on. For example: Beans on toast, very simple, you need bread and baked beans, you put the beans in the microwave, toast the bread, and you got it. You'd be able to cook more advanced meals depending on the ingredients. This is something that I assume would take a decent amount of effort, so I think there would have to be a revamp for food for it to actually be beneficial, right now I see it cool for RP. I'm not sure how you could revamp food without wanting to add hunger/thirst bars because that's too "RPG". I personally think hunger and thirst meters are something we should have, it's not really RPG, it's just realistic, and makes things more of a necessity then an "if you want to." I think the biggest thing for RP, is reminding people that they're RPing the LIFE OF they're character. You might RP a druglord, that drug lord's still got to eat. You might RP a homeless person, that homeless person still has to eat. But I know the majority of people are against food/thirst meters, so maybe there's another way of integrating life aspects into RP, because right now everything is "RP if you want". You could make a server with the ability to chat and /me, with a couple cars and say, hey, RP having $10,000,000 if you want, RP taking a shit if you want. But we don't do that, because you need to actually work to have $10,000,000, you actually need to eat to live.

  12. Why would people bid for it? It should just be a system like trucking will be. Business owners will collect a certain amount of trash after an opening. It would work via entrances, every entrance would generate lets say, 4-5 pieces of garbage. If they leave the garbage, then they can be shut down by the government, and also there could be some chat saying that there would be garbage bags everywhere ect. The business owner would make a request for garbage to be picked up, just they request components. Removing the garbage job won't do anything good, making it an essential part of the economy would. Garbage isn't a grinding job, IRL the average shift would be what, 8 hours? You might do garbage for 2 hours. However, it's not benefiting the economy and therefore is not essential for the server, if it benefited the community or added RP, then it would be good.

    So with the new trucking in 1.5 I feel like there should be more a supply and demand factor to allow for business owners to be able to have a realistic way to making money, and more RP for the workers. Cigarettes production: - Someone signs up at factory worker as a job, selects from a list, Cigarettes, Gas, Food, ect. ect. (Let's say they pick Cigarettes) - They go to the cigarette factory, and they begin working. The process will be very similar to brewing, they will harvest tobacco ect. and make a cigarette. - They will go to the selling point, selling their cigarettes - Gas Station owner needs more cigarettes, makes a request for cigarettes - Trucker picks up cigarettes, takes it to gas station. This adds more jobs, because the one issue I faced when I was new was not having enough jobs that would fit my character, this adds a whole new job into the works. However, I feel like there's a major issue where people say "I'd prefer to just RP it". A lot of the time that isn't the case, in order for a business to run - you need to have demand to back it, RP is not demand. Example; Most characters smoke, so let's say you want to have a cigarette, you can't do /anim smoke1, you would need to go to the store, you'd need to buy a pack of 20 cigarettes, and then you can smoke the cigarette. Every cigarette increases your addiction level as well. What this does, is add demand - the reason why club owners don't make a lot of money usually, is because there is no demand, it is a recreational place where people go to relax and have fun. There's not even a demand for the garages - you can just /vp and /vg, again it's let down to "I'd rather just RP it". You don't NEED to repair your car, you don't NEED to upgrade it either. A Gas station, will always have more potential to make more money than any other business, because it's the only business that works on demand. I'm not saying make it so you need to be addicted ect. but, in order to do things like drink a cup of coffee, smoke a cigarette, have a beer - you need to go and purchase that item.

    I feel like the issue should be; 30-40k /SHOULD/ be a shitton of money. If we think about it this way; there are essentially two things to spend money on - Houses, Cars. These are the two things that most people want, and supply a status image, whereas IRL, things like clothing, jewellery, electronics ect. are a big part of your image. The average balance in the USA is $10,000. That's because you pay your mortgage/rent, bills, taxes, insurance ect and you're left with the remainder each month. The issue isn't the generation of money, or the amount persay, but the things you can spend money on. There needs to be more things to spend money on, more of a reason to save. The economy will never be good regardless of any paycheck changes, business system changes or anything like that - the economy will be good once there are luxuries to spend money on that are not houses or cars.

    Property removal.

    Not sure if this is a thing, but it doesn't seem like it is. 1 month no notice absence removal of your personal non-business properties. I.e, if you leave for a month without letting PM know, your house will get removed on the 32nd day. However, let's say you're going on holiday for a month and a half, you tell PM when you're back, and you get an extention. Also, if you are perm-banned, all personal properties should be removed a swell, you can't ban someone with the expectation of them being unbanned. There are probably atleast 25 houses that are really nice and people could benefit from that are taken by a permbanned or inactive person.

    Oh fair enough, I’m confused to the whole auctions on hold until you get a better system? What system would be needed?

So I think there already are different parts of PM, but it would be cool if it was like this; - Leasing - General - Auction - Management So you'd have Leasing Staff within Property Management, they'd be incharge of issuing leasing, and nothing else. General would be in charge of interior changes, garage requests, general requests ect. Auction would be in charge of making auctions, settling auctions, and keeping it active so players have the option to have new houses and cars. Management are the people who make the changes, new properties, and all the back end difficult stuff you guys already do. I also think integrating support into it would help a lot; property management is not like any other admin group, it's a very difficult and demanding one, therefore I think to maximise activity and productivity, you should allow testers to respond to the threads, not make any serious decisions, but they would take a yes or a no from an admin, and they would make the write-ups for the general requests ect. this saves so much time for the admins, allowing them to focus on other things, and allowing more to be done instead of being stuck writing an response to a general request. I guess this would not be possible - but personally I know that with the current staff there is so much potential for property management, there is just not enough hours in the day to full tap that. I think if you had the right amount of members, property would be amazing. I'm not saying you guys aren't already doing a good job - you are, you're making amazing changes and updates that seriously change the way we play, however a lot of us want things like new houses, cars ect. and to do that you need more time. This essentially just spreads the time in a day out between multiple people, allowing you to achieve more.
