  1. Think a lot of people here speak out of their ass without realizing the facts. If you haven't been involved in illegal role-play in the past year or years then don't try to hold what you used to know as valid because it isn't. Look at official factions. There's more Asian concepts than anything on the server, and then there's Surenos, Eurasians, Whites and others. Black gangs notoriously suffer and black role-play always seems to be ridden with issues. Most unofficial factions fall in two categories of a) LSRP style banging out 100 pages in 2 weeks then getting bored and closing or b) slow burning which often results in L&A due to lack of members, lack of supply, lack of support overall. In the same vein we see a restricted concept like LCN crews make a come back all across the server. - Just because a few people make a faction and get shut down, close it themselves or whatever and essentially flunk out of the game doesn't mean that you need to punish the vast community from opening a faction or restricting a specific concept. The biggest pain point with illegal RP is diversity. I'll give you the run down: a) rank structure, street gang/organized street gang type; b) OCG but moves like an organized street element instead of mob-related; c) supply—guns, electronics, drugs, etc; d) the usual rackets that consists of the above, of trading X for Y, of running through widely known schemes or some people getting a lab; e) as soon as official hits you can experience having a chop shop, or you can try renting one from those who have it, etc; The point I'm making is illegal factions feel so robotic that it's genuinely boring. It doesn't matter if you RP an Eurasian mobster, a White tweaker, an Asian trapper or a Sureno gangbanger because most concepts literally revolve around the same shit. The same rackets keep being regurgitated over and over. There's a few people who make the concept-related experience unique but if you've been in the game for years on the same character and concept, you can tell how boring it is. Not every faction is meant to be the newest big dog on the server. Some factions are simply small corner cliques that never take off and die off. Some factions should be easy niches, think of car theft rings, robbery cliques, hitsquads, etc. These are very simple short to medium term concepts that are based around 1 single racket and exploring that racket to the fullest. tl;dr Shit is very linear. It doesn't matter what character you role-play because most concepts are still based around hard stuck hierarchies and common rackets. This makes the whole scene boring because nothing has depth and everything seems to be peripherally done just because it can be done. I'll never understand why chop shops need to be restricted to official factions only etc. (this is just an example of many) P.S. The level of bullshit you deal with as an illegal player is astounding as well, from player to leader, and I wish it on none of you. It makes everything else almost not worth it. Take a look at any faction war in the past year and a half and you'll see what I mean—it's all reports and crybaby shit. Even a petty mugging for what you have on hand becomes a 5 page report.

  3. ((OOC INFORMATION)) The goal of this faction is to portray a realistic criminal operation based out of North Vinewood with the sole objective of making money. The crew consists of a group of ex-criminals with decades of experience between them, as well as mid-level criminals that have moved away from more strict hierarchical syndicates, street gangs, and other foreign organized crime organizations––all of which have banded together to pool resources, experience, and knowledge, in order to collaborate and make money. While this crew may have Characters that have previously been members of LCN groups, it is not necessarily an LCN faction and it will not strictly abide by LCN rules or customs. All races and ethnicities are welcome to join, pending that they’re a good fit for the goals and objectives of the group. We refuse to let “character development” and “roleplay quality” simply be buzzwords in our faction. Instead, they will be the core principals in which we operate and recruit. We will not hesitate to remove people for poor quality portrayal, or badly researched, stereotypical caricatures. We would rather have ten-guys who can provide a quality experience than forty who we constantly have to babysit out of fear that they’ll embarrass us or undermine our faction’s OOC purpose. Feel free to message @Rickaroni or @NickyW with any questions.

  8. Detailed Description Just an overall look at players that are in a separate faction script or not in a script at all whilst using any devices (wires, bugs, vehicle trackers, etc.). It prompts for the ID of the device to join it or whitelist it in the faction script, but it doesn't apply to the players that aren't residing in that sort of place. In order for the player to go on and see what's going on with any of the devices, it basically requires them to be within the script, which can be pretty annoying due to the fact that it gives you an ID for that specific device, which you can share with someone that's participating in that. It can get really annoying having other players that are part of the roleplay around that and can't even see what's going on in the device's end. Relevant Commands/Items /deviceadd [Player ID / Name] [Device ID], or; /devicewhitelist [Player ID / Name] [Device ID] How will it benefit the server? Basically, it's just what I broke down above on how it allows players to reside in the faction script or just not view what's going on at all. In my opinion, it can just make things easier for others who partake in this same roleplay and have the same issues when it comes down to it.

  11. All recruitment will be done In Character and you will be expected to not break any rules, be respectful and dedicated to the faction and your character in it. We understand that not everybody is an expert on gang roleplay and specifically Sureño roleplay but we are an open path for you to learn. We expect you to accept constructive criticism if it's being given to you and for you to engrave your own development path in the faction. The aim of our faction is to create a realistic Sureño environment in South Los. We don't want this to lean towards being a generic faction so we will have our own personal twist. If you've found the thread interesting and want to participate and join us on this journey then we expect you to know that you will have to develop a character and focus on bringing out the realism aspect in the environment. Any information regarding sending CK permission, the faction rules, backstory & more can be found inside the Discord channel which you can join by clicking here. If you have any questions or complaints about the faction or its members, don't hesitate to send a forum/discord message to @38 Glocks On Your Dome or @EVIL IN MY H38D
