Fix languages.

I'd love a WoW style system where the messages from languages you don't understand get shown as random gibberish rather than the real words.

Star Wars Galaxies employed/employs a similar system;

The learning mechanics obviously do not apply.

I think it has the possibility to create more issue then it solves. My character has been taught some very basic words and you'd have to implement some sort of system where you could half-learn a language but at that point its just a waste of time.

No, it makes more problems.

Like someone said in the discussion thread about this, a lot of words are similar across language-families, and someone may understand specific words and phrases of several other languages.

 I support this, it wouldn't be so hard to do and it'd allow a lot of folks here that RP ethnic factions to RP freely without the issue of other players Metagaming. It'd be cool if there was some scripted way to learn certain, not so obscure languages provided you RP learning them.
