  1. So they added more weather because heavy roleplay in a dry west coast city is boring, fine. You know what? That makes sense for a game. I haven't even seen overcast and smog naturally appear ig. But the temperatures are in fact colder. They have been colder for years. Someone even ran a side by side comparison by logging the temperatures and GTAW was averaging 10 degrees colder than LA. Which is the difference between wearing a jacket or not, for anyone who actually roleplays.
  2. Please! It feels like no one listens to us about this. We're going on 5 years of the temperature being colder and rainier than the Los Angeles area. It's like they synced the original temperature data to the mountain range or the desert, both get significantly colder at night. This will probably be locked once they let us vent about it too. And we'll be here again in 3 months! It probably sucks to try to appease everyone though. Sorry devs.
  3. Staff answer to the rules only...not the popularity contest in the votes. -1 the feature doesn't matter, even if egos get bruised.
  4. I have updated the listing with some extra info about its 2 balconies. Need some fresh air? Want to listen to the sounds of sirens, car alarms, and choppers? Step outside for a stunning 20th story view. Balcony View https://imgur.com/a/saHZRju (( TP points marked by traffic cones if you decide to custom map. These go to Dim 0 and are fully functional but you will need donator to furnish outside ))
  5. +1 unfortunately there will never be round-the-clock security, in character, like there would be realistically. Specially when it's an underground or attached structure. Maybe they have issues with trespassers and people breaking windows to steal things. Not full armed robbery and carjackings. It's not an easy ambush location like people treat it ig. It's a realism problem, not a "deal with it ic" problem imo.

These go to Dim 0 and are fully functional but you will need donator to furnish outside )) (( /pinfo ))
  7. The update is great. The new alarm system is NOT! How overpriced must they be? Modern alarms are nowhere as expensive (relative to the GTAW economy) and if you don't install one in your house, people using /breakin will abuse it and spend an hour checking every single wall panel, looking for guns and goodies. It has happened and it will continue to happen, ask your admin team.

  9. Love using taxis, but I've only gotten about 2 taxis out of the estimated 10 times I called for one. I think time of day is an issue. Even when there are several on duty.
  10. People play a role and forget the human behind it. I wouldn't even say it's a self-insert problem because these people don't do that. If they inserted some personality into their character they might actually be interesting! But instead we get a stonewall mobster without emotions or values, a cop who's only online to be on duty and vent about cop life, a 12 yr old gang member hitting on adults and acting like he's a hardened 30 yr old criminal.
  11. I'm sure this has happened but not that often. It's still abuse and very easy to spot in the new bank logs! Buying a property, /sellallfurniture, /sellproperty right after? Plain as day, easy ban. When I see these, I thought the previous owner knew they were going inactive or onto a new character, scrapped their mapping (reasonable) and let the server take it for inactivity. Which means the property was inactive for 2 weeks and someone else could have been using it if the person had been allowed to /sellproperty for 100% in the first place.
  12. Detailed Description If you lose a property to inactivity, you already get 100% of the market value back (not items or furniture cost). I suggest that the command to sell a property back to the server also give you 100% of the market value back. Relevant Commands/Items N/A How will it benefit the server? It would increase the amount of active properties. By a marginal amount but it would still help. For example, I have a multi-int apartment right now that I'm trying to sell, for its BARE MINIMUM market value, but no one seems to want it. Despite this, the building is totally sold out and I know it always sells out because it's a busy area for rp and local gangs. My options here are to take a 52k loss by using /sellproperty to the server, or keep a property I'm not using (a detriment to the area), or simply go inactive until I lose it it 2 weeks. I don't see a benefit to any of these. Just let us /sellproperty back to the server for 100% market value. I doubt people will do this with mapped apartments and they will continue to try to sell those with the forums. But with basic rockstar interior multi-int apartments this would be great and add more available properties to the market.
  13. Username: Guerra98 Comment: Is there any point to this besides slander? The guy has a record and the company hired him and gave a criminal a second chance. Would you rather he be back on the streets breaking into houses for money or do you want him to be a productive member of society. Shame on you. You didn't even do your research into whether he'd been an armed guard or not and posted this for the views.
  14. Property has been sold. - 112 Imagination Ct 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom 2 balconies Garage and covered carport Access to canals waterways Various nearby amenities Exterior Interior Buyout: $460,000 Market Price: $130,000 (( Furniture Price: $73,984 )) Seller reserves the right to refuse any sale.
  15. A great addition for passive or casual rp. It could even inspire a few small work-from-home bakers or let you cook someone a real gift. If you're complaining about your inv space, it's probably because of 3 phones, 3 guns, and a bar crawl's worth of liquor that you forgot to use. Someone else's ability to make food at home is not a hindrance to you.
  16. Did half of you even read the suggestion? This is a small addition to the NEW system. You are not just leaving your property as an open house. This is not backtracking whatsoever. You have to MEET the person IC at the property already to give them the key! The only thing this command tweak would change is automating the payment after the meeting and contract are drawn up IC. For realism, because most people's rent is withdrawn automatically nowadays. The landlord STILL has to meet with you in order to give you the property key via the existing command. All this changes is that it gives it a price and withdraws it automatically.
  17. Torso 15 goes with the black bikini. Support!
  18. I've gone ahead and made the suggestion since it seems like a good compromise between the old and new system. Low activity players don't overpay. Tenants don't have to manually remember to pay.
  19. Short description: Allow the new rent system to have automatic payments, after meeting ic. Detailed description: Allowing the old automatic rent payment system to integrate with the new rental system. Changing the /givepropertykey command to also include the old hourly rental cost. OF course, this would be after meeting IC since you have to meet IC to do the command. One compromise, everyone's happy. Commands to add: Expand /givepropertykey (ID) to /givepropertykey (ID) (Hourly Fee) Items to add: N/A How would your suggestion improve the server? The rental/property overhaul was a step in the right direction. However, we live in 2020 and most rent/mortgage is taken automatically from your bank every month. Allow us to blend both systems. This allows for a tenant to be only charged for the hours they play, while removing the burden of remembering to pay. Additional information: N/A
  20. Everything about this. Here's an idea. You have to meet IC with the landlord of course to work out the rental fees and contract. Then, the command /givepropertykey (ID) (hourly fee) sets the hourly rent price.
