That (update 1.9.8d) was only meant to remove it for -this-. because some people use -this- for emphasis instead of /this/. The -.. to — change was approved by management when it was first implemented and should be here to stay. It was removed in the latest update due to a misunderstanding and will be added back next update.

We had some trial runs on the test server (ever since the first 1.1 test) and no one noticed anything so we'll likely stick to the new values when we fully switch the main server to 1.1 as well. Here are the new stat values: Shooting: 20 Strength: 10 Stamina: 50 -
It's different because I could just enter an area that has a boombox playing and have my IP logged by an ordinary player without "consent". Some people don't like that because it leaves a footprint that may lead to other things in the future.

This was suggested a bunch and it was denied every time. We'll go with the same verdict.

Won't really solve anything, as stated above. A better idea would be to change the shooting skill from 100 to 0.

Dear Sir:

In exchange for your accommodating services, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company would agree to allow you to retain 10%, or US$4 million of this amount.
However, to be a legitimate transferee of these moneys according to Nigerian law, you must presently be a depositor of at least US$100,000 in a Nigerian bank which is regulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria.
If it will be possible for you to assist us, we would be most grateful. We suggest that you meet with us in person in Lagos, and that during your visit I introduce you to the representatives of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company, as well as with certain officials of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
Please call me at your earliest convenience at 18-467-4975. Time is of the essence in this matter; very quickly the Nigerian Government will realize that the Central Bank is maintaining this amount on deposit, and attempt to levy certain depository taxes on it.

The '-.' issue was never brought to my attention. I'll fix that when I'm back. The '-..' script was mostly a bad joke from my part but we ended up sticking with it. We'll likely not have any other forced 'fixes' in the future. Locked on that note.

Let's stay on topic boys. Tree has a valid point. How do we know if the player meant to type '.' and their finger slipped or if they are illiterate and meant to indicate an omission (of words) or a pause?
