I have yet to see a "valid" reason for someone blasting through Mirror Park other than "I could, take it IC hurrdurr!" If someone's gonna tell me that doing 130+ through MP is to be taken IC-ly. I'm gonna call bullshit and claim garbage character development. You're not an F1 driver, act normal. This also goes out to the Schafter V12 and Elegy Retro bros that race around MP during the day and piss off cops acting as "racers". Y'all are the reason car RP is frowned upon. Marcus.
>implying f1 drivers are peak race car drivers OmegaLuL On a serious note though in response to what I previously posted with the vehicle to player damage scaling... I have yet to witness a 100 to 0hp crash in GTA(O/W). You would not instantly die just because some selfproclaimed racer crashes into you, and with the seatbelt it would negate it even further. also i identify as a WEC LMP1 car k 1 Link to comment

You literally got no idea about MVAs at 100 mph. You'd be dead. Seatbelt isn't the magical tool that negates everything. A crash at 70 mph quadruples the force of impact, your odds on surviving a head on collision at to 25%, think how bad it'll be at 100. A study from the EU Commision outlined a few things too. I am not talking about real life here. I am talking about how GTA Vs engine deals damage upon impact. Yes, there is no arguing that you would die from a 100mph head on crash or even t-bone. And I merely replied to Smonk, who assumed that there would be a possibility to die from a crash in GTA World. Which with my proposal would not be possible, again afaik. sorry if I was not clear on my reply there. Link to comment

Jauss
Personally I have only ever had one crash on GTA W. - It was a three vehicle collision and we were all going at a crazy speed. - Thing is that I was already super late to something IRL, due to me extending an RP session and by habit, I always log off at my house. So right when I hit those vehicles and they hit me. I immediately ran out of my car and asked them to skip as I let them know that I was running late for IRL matters. We decided to skip, which on my end was great. All I wanted to say with that story, is just that sometimes people got excuses to skip a crash. As its a rather long RP session. However I am not saying that people should come up with excuses just to skip a crash. People speeding and dying from crashes should RP it out. From my own experience, its very rare if ever, the server makes me crash. But the higher speed. The more Dsync as well. I agree on people stepping up for their actions. Dsync is bad atm, yes. But we have to play with the hand we got dealt. Edited May 9, 2019 by Jauss Link to comment
Engelbert
I am always asking whether to rp or not if I happen to crash into someone. Desync can be pretty bad at times. As for myself I am usually going for crash twice roleplay the third one, no matter the severity. Link to comment
