Koko Posted February 5, 2022 Share Posted February 5, 2022 Niche RP is great if you have the passion for the subject matter and just a bit of know-how on how to make it viable and appealing via advertising it, as well as the capacity to bring your passion forward to the target audience. A large problem I find is that everyone is thinking big, and they think of ways of having as large an impact as possible. They think on terms of fame or notoriety. You won't get that with niche RP. But you also only need to make a couple of friends in the area and have very deep RP. Personally, I love small-scale, slice of life RP, and most of my time in SAPR for example was spent on my own just mapping out animal populations in the forest and RPing my character's oft lonely personal story. Everyone I found and engaged with was just a highlight of the day. You can RP with yourself and have an actual blast. 1 Link to comment
