  1. Ever wanted to live in a place that looks kind of cyberpunk but without the whole dystopia thing? Unfortunately, that ain't happening in Los Santos. BUT! I can offer you this cozy little place, it sure looks the part. I worked on it myself, a lot of the furniture is made from previously tossed away pieces that took days to finish. It's a custom job, not only does it look good but it's also practical. The place is being sold because I don't use it anymore, so why should I sit on it like a dirty capitalist? Come cop it for yourself. Also, the guns - you can have them... but they're replicas. Sorry, choom. Asking for $269,000 $259,000. The price is negotiable. Any interested buyers may message me directly ((forums)). (( OOC Property information )) Photo gallery below.

  3. As someone who fucking hates late stage capitalism, this server and its' features are one of those things that I could spend money on without feeling like I'm being totally cucked. Just a little bit. Like yeah, walkstyles and /bad should be free, but they won't be. We had that talk many times on the forum. There are some perks which are donator-only that should also be free, but for me it's mainly walkstyles and /bad. If there are any other changes I would personally like, that would be furniture pricing. Fuck's sake it's ridiculously expensive to get permanent slots. Probably on purpose so that you actually go for the packages, which is a smart move, but that one kinda pinches my ass cheeks if y'all know what I mean. On a side note, I dunno if greed is an accurate accusation, apparently GTA World is under Ancad Studios, which is a non-profit. Now please correct me if this is wrong or things have changed. On another side note, if homie Nervous made a bit of bread off this server, I really wouldn't mind. Bro's got a child to raise and a server to run so we can all ERP on it.
  4. Driving on this server has been a shit show since I joined, so 2018. FIVE DAMN YEARS. I said this a long time ago, that we should be more chill in traffic because it adds immersion, reduces random crime, reduces shit rp over all, promotes a community atmosphere et cetera. I think that we should lower the speed limit down to 40, maybe 45 and keep it 90 on the highways since nobody plays there anyways. But in the city, if I see some traffic, that should be cool and dandy, and immersive. Now every time there is one or two cars in line, one of the fuckers will just overtake the rest of the people in front of them and speed away. Why be so impatient? Just wait, chill out, y'ain't got a house burning on the other side of the state, you are going to see your ERP date, Steve. Slow the hell down. Unpopular opinion, but I think that this is partially because car mods are so easily accessible. People have no business owning cars this fast. If the speed limit is 60, why the fuck do we need cars that can do 140 plus and accelerate from 0 to 60 in like 2 seconds? Why do most civilians in this God forsaken city own 900HP rockets and not hybrids or just casual sports cars that they can take out on the weekends? We have legit inflated the car specs, including law enforcement and their tanky, full retard Police Interceptor boats that can reach ridiculous speeds at the cost of handling. I think this is also why the choppers are called out to every chase, I know that this is the protocol IRL as well, but fuck me sideways man, if I had to go after a modified Gauntlet that casually reaches 150-160MPH with some speed bumps on the way, I would also just give up and track his ass down with a police chopper. Car tuning is nice and all, sure man, sure. But for the love of God almighty, remove the fucking performance mods, or lower the tiers available and lock the higher ones behind some systems. We can have cool cars, we can have car meets and highway cruises. We really can, but we seriously do not need these fucking riced out rockets speeding across every road in the city, it's ridiculous, it has been ridiculous since at least 2018, and I've been saying this is not the way to go since I joined the server. In the name of the whole GTA World Playerbase, but especially LEOs who are tired of this bullshit continuing, I am hereby asking the development team to consider what I wrote and seriously ponder over the future of this mechanic. Thank you.
  5. as someone who like never touches illegal rp: yeah this sounds reasonable i guess, +1
  6. Yes. But roleplay has suspension of disbelief. The ghetto is not an area with like barely 50 houses down on Grove Street and in the surrounding areas. Realistically, the city is a booming metropolis with millions of citizens. Plenty of them homeless, but the majority not. I used to NPC having my character's mom come with her for a prison visit and I was not accused of powergaming having parents, it's just common sense that you would have parents unless you're an orphan or lost them somehow. Guns are a different story, same with, for example, scenarios where you'd randomly ass-pull having a friend with you when you get pressed in the street despite being there alone. For passive roleplay, things such as NPCing having parents, a house in the area, a car that is in the workshop despite not owning one script-wise is fine. This helps build character, get into more scenarios, extend what you can potentially roleplay and so on. This should ONLY be an issue when you ass-pull something to avoid something else, for example running away from a group of bangbangers only to /me running into your parents' place on Strawberry Avenue. Furthermore, this is not strictly related to that topic, but let me cook here. If we did not have suspension of disbelief and the ability to create our own character background, we would all have to ACTUALLY attend university or other education for some time on the server before we could become a doctor, lawyer, even a god damn accountant. But we do not. You can either gain OOC knowledge and put it into your character, have Google on the other monitor to aid you with roleplaying or you could also attend the university if that fits your character. But then imagine creating a 40 year old character who is to be a doctor in the city and them having to attend medical education because fuck you and your background - that would make no sense.
  7. Well, I suggest you tell those OOC over-reacting dipshits that they might as well go outside and touch some grass. If you feel the need to report someone over a lack of property in an area they are playing in, seriously, if anything is an indicator to turn off the computer and go outside? It is exactly THAT. This server relies on interiors/properties for roleplay way too much anyways, and that has been a problem I have been talking about ever since I started playing here in 2018, but back then everyone said I was crazy.
  8. I literally just made some half serious goofball bum character and started hanging out there to make some civilian activity. No house, no need to worry about assets, literally just roleplaying with the local gangbangers and other fools in the area. You could also roleplay the significant other or a family member of someone who lives and therefore roleplays a lot in the ghetto. The ideas are endless and I'm not gonna sugar coat it - sometimes the RP there is abysmal but if you stumble across a fun group of people then it's really great and can be relaxing. Might be that I lived in some shitty areas IRL but it kinda hit home for me.
  9. The funniest fucking thing about this is that the hoods are actually some of the most chill places to roleplay a local bum or low income citizen, I've had multiple local characters that would hang around there and just chill without being fucked with because they didn't bang. I think this proves the point of low quality mfs always venturing out of their usual area (Davis, Strawberry, Rancho) to /better/ places to perform low quality criminal rp. I wish more people knew this was the case because that place is severely lacking civilian RP, at least it was back when I last played there which okay, I'll admit, was like a year ago. Things could have changed drastically since then but I seriously don't think those areas are so bad, they could just use a bit more love from the community, but peopled don't realize there is potential there.
  10. this shit has the same energy as those videos of young adults making videos about how much their american school sucked ass and i fucking love it dawg
  11. I'll put it this way, chief - my activity in this server has been coming in waves throughout the last 3 years, I'll join and play for like a week straight, dip for two, come back and the wheel keeps spinning just like that. What makes me come back is nostalgia, the urge to just roleplay and keep a project moving forwards and some friends. I do not play particularly for the script, or the scenarios and nothing like that. I come, I chill, do some shit and log off. I might be on the spectrum and just enjoy the monotone shit instead of factions and events, who knows? Since this is meant to be an upbuilding thread I will continue in that direction - a lot has been accomplished even since I've started playing in 2018. We have some of the greatest people in the scene in the mod/dev and Staff teams on GTA World and I am truly happy that they put in hours to keep this server up and running. I believe that most players are also decent roleplayers and that the dumbasses are the loud minority, so basically just like in the real world. Unfortunately I must also mention what makes me come back in waves. It is the sheer emptiness and lack of coordination and set in stone standards/lore across the whole server. The map lacks a centralized hot spot, everyone is spread out across a large city and you can basically only meet clusters of people here and there, even with 800 or more players present. I find that I, personally, cannot get my mind to properly immerse itself into the experience due to this, and so gaming for longer periods of time gets kind of sad and tiring for me. What I also dislike is the business focus in roleplay. If you do not have a group to play with that "mobs around" in a certain area, such as the guys who play in K-Town then the outside on this server can be, to put it bluntly - fucking boring. I think that if this server had more outside activity and less of a business hopping roleplay focus, it could be way better. Unfortunately with how the server population's morale is right now - tough words but hear me out - this is not that common. People seem to have a mindset of avoiding the outside to not potentially get thrown into random muggings and other scenarios such as this. As someone who tries to utilize the outside as much as possible I must admit that I've rarely been mugged or harassed in public over just random stuff. I think that ultimately when it comes to morale, I am burned out and tired of not being able to immerse myself into the experience due to the ongoing emptiness across the Los Santos map. Don't even get me started on the county because the lack of activity there is pathetic. I must also admit that this is 85% a skill issue on my end. It is my fault as a player that I personally cannot immerse myself and others can. Maybe it's because I come from a different type of roleplay servers, maybe I'm just a shit roleplayer who cannot stick to nothing. Or maybe it is a 50/50 issue on my end and the server end. In the end, I believe that as I said - nothing is inherently "gamebreakingly" wrong with this server besides the emptiness of the map and the focus to jump across businesses. I also want to again thank and congratulate Nervous and his team for managing to keep this sometimes stinky project running so well over the years. There are lots of people who love this server and do not generally complain, and there must be reasons as to why.
  12. I haven't played for long but I'd say it would be two guys - George who played Min Sung-woo and JACK who played Marshall Kyung. I don't even know if them mfs are alive of relevant anymore but both were TOP QUALITY roleplayers back in the OG K-Town.
  13. Yeah, why not add some .22 rifles as well? +1
  14. The website development continues and a new portfolio section appears.
  15. One might land on this website whilst doom-scrolling through social media and stumbling upon tattoo-related content. The HTTPS certificate is valid. Everything is functional. DDoS Protection by Cloudflare is present. There are no ads. There is not much to interact with so the site loads quickly. Reviews cannot be posted without a link from the site owner. If the user clicks here, they will see this information in a pop-up: ((FORUM PM to send the form)) ((OOC note: I don't have a tattoo script, this is a project made purely for roleplaying. You'll need to purchase the tattoos yourself at a parlor. I don't expect any in-game money, payments can be roleplay only as well.))
  16. I've never seen it as frowned upon, whether your actions are vividly described or straight to the point - both is good, whatever tickles your pickle.
  17. I have this rare theory that there's a shit ton of British characters simply because British people can't be fucked to learn like 30 words of American English for RP but I dunno. I agree though.
