Appointment of Chairman Nikos Karagiorgis The San Andreas Democratic Party has named Nikos Karagiorgis as their new Chairman. Nikos is an immigrant to San Andreas from Greece, who made his impact while rising through the ranks in ULSA to the position of Chancellor. As Chancellor, he has always advocated for inclusiveness, openness and the promotion of his team to the forefront while maintaining a discrete presence himself. Since December 2023 he has moved into the private sector, working as a consultant for a number of highly placed individuals and firms both in Los Santos as well as San Fierro, working towards relaying his experience and mentality to new, aspiring leaders in the corporate world. Regarding his appointment, Nikos has released the following statement: "I have chosen to align myself with the Democratic Party in San Andreas due to several, important reasons. We, as a people, should always strive to bring out the best in others. Not just to conform with what may seem as our lot in life, but always strive for more, to be the best version of ourselves. Through the Democratic platform, I feel we can truly promote this agenda, to create an inclusive community, an inclusive society, an inclusive world. Towards this goal, it is my priority to directly use our influlence and assets as a party, not just to announce, but to realize a number of initiatives aimed at providing our citizens with the resources they need to shine and to become the best they can be. I would like to invite you all to join us in this endeavour, and share in the immense honor and faith that the Party placed in me, for a Better San Andreas." In this role, Nikos Karagiorgis looks forward to leading the San Andreas Democratic Party towards a more inclusive and prosperous future for the citizens of our vibrant state, with a number of short- and long-term initiatives already in the works for the Party.

If I didn't HAVE to get involved in TS to be in the factions, I would have considered a LEO character long ago rather than a low level solo criminal. Some times people may want to join a Faction but cannot due to RL reasons and restrictions. HAVING said that.... There are a number of ways to go about this, depending on desire to put in the effort from players and Devs. 1) As has already been said, make PK bodies "expire" after a while. Say an hour or two? Make CK bodies permanent. How? Easy. Let admins apply a "CK" flag on a body that makes it permanent. Easy to code? I don't know. 2) Let civilians be able to RP the whole thing with a command that can only be used after a call to 911 has gone unanswered. /civsendtomorgue 3) Least possible to happen, most immersive: Give LEOs a command that will allow them to "catch a glimpse" of the log around the time of death, or go through the investigative RP, emote the gathering of evidence, submit everything in a forum report/UCP request and let an admin come back with the results at a later time. Similarly to 2, if no detective, forensics or DMEC is around, let the LEO emote the scene investigation taking place through /do with NPCs, and submit the request for evidence with as little involvement from the perpetrators as possible, to avoid any bad apples.

Corpses staying after restart is actually helpful. Now they're there to show the extent of the situation. Now what needs to be done is agree on some guidelines on how corpses should be handled. Not just by LEOs but in general. For example, if nobody responds to the 911 call after X time, let the civilians RP the cops and Coroners collecting the body and sending it to the Morgue. Perhaps make a /civsendmorgue command that freezes someone in place for 30sec (so they won't have a benefit of abusing it), automatically writes 2-3 /do, then sends the body to the morgue. That way, the workload isn't a hot potato between LEO v. DMEC, but everyone can contribute into "cleaning up the streets"

Right now if you do any animation on a boat and then /sa, you also fall THROUGH the boat as if it's not there. That can be considerably annoying, if say... A shark happens to spawn and you don't get up in time...

I'm gonna +1 the exam effects and hell no, not optional. Maybe not for the whole duration of the OP, but exam effects should be visible for over an hour to make significant RP impact, and not just for a few minutes and then the user can pose as not under the influence with all the extra benefits.

Roadside Repair should be available to all characters, not just mechanics. And it should repair up ot 1000 hp or so, in order to not take away work from mechanics, and not make every person on the server become a mechanic. Or, if you want to be accurate, it should be available to taxi drivers and mechanics...

I understand why people want things to be equal between Factions and Non Factions. At the same time, I understand that thought process that says "All of LA's police force doesn't have 20 police cars but 2000 police cars spread in all their precincts. Instead of giving LSPD 2000 police cars and make choosing which one to spawn an exercise in futility, let them repair their faction vehicles on spawn" which, in essence, is a stand in for the fact that I am a guy with my own car, and if it breaks down I must tend to i, whereas a cop is - in theory - a guy with access to a motor pool of a LOT of vehicles so that if one is damaged, they're assigned another until it's fixed. What I would really hate to see, is any LEO going "lol /VP, /fspawn" rather than actually roleplay the crash and tow back to their motor pool... As long as we don't get THIS, I understand the hasty "motorpool simulation" through repairing the limited fleet of a LEO Faction's vehicles.
