  1. Ah ok then. Trade empire as Venice?
  2. Form Prussia as Poland. You have to do the union event with Lithuania, cede some of your provinces to your Warsaw vassal and then eat the teutonic order. Core the provinces and start changing the culture to Prussian to all your mainland ones. Then, after a certain point, you'll be able to form Prussia. That's how it was a year or so ago, at least.
  3. Despite my low hours, I manage to master EU pretty early, and I really like the game. On the other hand, while much less complicated, HoI4's templates always gave me a headache along with attrition. One of my all time favorites, as clearly seen in my profile.
  4. And I never mentioned any incidents. I made examples out of situations (that I have heard happen) and gave my tips, insight and observations as a year-long LEO. People seem to agree with me aswell.
  5. Most of what I have stated comes from personal experience as a LEO in the past 10 years of me RPing. Whether your experience has been the same or not is a whole different scenario. It is clear to me that you focused on certain parts of my wall of text and you didn't grasp the general idea.
  6. I've spent a good portion of my RP years roleplaying a cop, with my most notable one being John Sage in the LSSD of LS-RP. The most important lesson for an upcoming or current LEO is that YOU SHOULD LEARN HOW TO LOSE. I've been through the supercop phase, all of us have. Winning in video games is fun. Winning in RP gets stale quickly and ruins everyone's experience, however. Of course, this does not mean you should put up with a P2W rule-breaking criminal, but you should give decent RPers more space and opportunities to take the RP far or lead it somewhere different other than the regular "Pull over, hands up, arrest, prosecute etc". The second most important lesson for an upcoming or current LEO is that YOU HAVE THE POWER TO RUIN SOMEONE'S CHARACTER, DON'T ABUSE IT. How would you feel if you pressed W for a second longer and then had everything you've went through this character (especially if legal) fucked up? How would you feel if that one second cost you weeks or even months of character development, applications for factions/weapons etc and 3$ for a namechange? I'd assume you'd be pretty salty if some LEO arrested you, it impacted you just as the aforementioned and he was probably laughing his ass off on dispatch. On top of that, if someone genuinely tells you something happened by accident on /b, you are not a better RPer if you just throw the old regular "Keep it IC", you are just an asshole. Just some food for thought. This is what us, lawyers in this game, try to fight. I've seen ridiculous arrest reports, vague evidence and a general laziness. I was discussing with an associate of mine the other day whether it is acceptable to have half a paragraph of a report for felonies such as Murders, Rape and heinous offenses in general, since this is what happens. So, perhaps, instead of being a robocop LEO, try taking into account the fact that this is a game, not everyone knows the laws word to word (neither do you, probably) and keep it 100. This isn't aimed towards every single LEO on this server. If this applies to you, then take some time and self reflect. Sorry if this is not civil enough, it comes from someone who has been frustrated with certain events in the short timeframe I've been playing and from someone who has been a LEO for longer than I can remember.
  7. 2011-2019 Mainly low/dynamic RP servers at start (HZ) but then LSRP a lot. Most know my by the name John Sage/Robert Hinton and Frank Greco from LSSD and LSCF respectively.
  8. This has to be one of the most nonsensical suggestions I have come across in my 8 years of SAMPing, no offense.

    Relationship RP

It was kind of fun when I first got into high-RP, however as the time went by and I got more experienced (as well as grown up) I started to find it unnecessary, repetitive and extremely cringey. I do understand where the people that wish to engage into it come from, though. Nowadays, if I were into do something of this sort, it would only be if the other party entirely agreed to NPC all the "relationship RP" parts and simply kept the titles (married, engaged etc.), for character development or social status purposes. EDIT: An opinion; I find the argument that it is done for "realism" weak. It is a completely optional kind of RP and getting into it requires trying to get into it, both ICly and OOCly. If the game was 1000% about realism there would be absolutely no restrictions, however there are to ensure that the player feels comfortable playing here (i.e. rape etc.) I think it's more appropriate to merge questions 2 and 3 into one, with 2 being the one asked.
  10. Looks crisp and unique as hell. Keep it up.
