  1. Short description: Car accidents or any serious collision you encounter with your vehicle must result in deteriorating the health of your vehicle (engine, etc) depending on the caliber of the impact. Detailed description: Before I start, I want to acknowledge the fact that the development team is working on fixing the damage sync in the game, meaning you can't just /vpark and /vget if you damage your car anymore. This is just an addition to that and something that can make things a lot better. When you collide with another vehicle or are being pursued by other people or whatever the situation may be and you end up in a severe accident, the vehicle needs to take proper damage. We don't need an extensive script for this, we can start small with something like engine health. Engine health will decrease over time based on the amount of collisions you encounter in your vehicle. Certain heavy collisions will immediately destroy your engine, including situations where your car is completely totaled. This will require you to get in touch with a tow truck, get your car towed to a body shop, receive either A) a new engine, B) a repair on the engine, or C) replace the engine (mechanic can choose to keep used engine potentially?). This would also create a market for vehicles that are significantly cheaper but have no engine. In addition, the money players pay for their car insurance should be pooled to a fund that covers the cost of repairing or replacing these engines. Mechanics should be able to receive some sort of money for their service from the insurance money. Commands to add: /(c)heck(e)ngine(h)ealth (cmd only for admins & mechanics) /takeengine /placeengine (must be done in proximity to a mechanic shop), other commands TBD(?) Items to add: Engine health (e.g ENGINE HEALTH: 43%) How would your suggestion improve the server? Currently mechanics and auto body shops alike are only used for tuning your vehicle and installing safety features like locks, GPS, and other antitheft options. Mechanics would be able to RP adding engines into vehicles and/or replacing them if they are worn out. They could even just improve the status of a damaged engine. This will also give players an incentive to drive less carelessly. This also has the potential to create a high demand for independent tow trucking firms who are instead currently only operated by mechanic shops. Will also make car accidents that players encounter far more realistic. Will also create a realistic dynamic in terms of insurance money covering the costs of vehicle damage. Additional information: The finer details can be worked out as we continue to develop the idea itself. The suggestion is very straight forward and I don't see a downside to this considering GTAW does aim to be a heavy RP server, this would only compliment that.
  2. This would be an amazing addition to the script. Not sure if this is still a discussion.
  3. Looking to purchase a Zion Classic in any condition. Please contact me at 10406728 or email me at [email protected] (( PM ))
  4. This is a great concept. It definitely has to be editable because each player has their own individual set of commonly used animations. Players need to have the ability to set specific animations into categories, that would give it more depth. For example, you're able to add up to 5 animations per category and the categories can just be whatever you set for it (idle, smoking, drinking, etc). Just a few off the top of my head: /anim point /anim lean /anim sitchair36 /anim smoke3 /anim smoke4 /anim crossarms1 /anim beerhold /anim crouch Thanks for this.
  5. Not sure why these aren't already in the game. Big yes from me.
  6. Definitely need this. I don't see any reason as to why we shouldn't be implementing this.
  7. No prob. Respect for knowing about LIMMA.
  8. I do see your point. I don't entirely agree but you make a valid argument. Can you specify exactly what kind of changes you'd want for the paycheck system? Would it be based on the job you're currently working in?
  9. Props for recognizing them. Right back at you with the music taste, bro.
  10. The grind doesn't necessarily take you away from roleplay. Maybe not the kind of roleplay you'd prefer to be doing but the grind does offer a lot of roleplay. For example, being a cashier in a shop demands that you actively roleplay with customers. Jobs such as trucker allow players to establish businesses that are based on these jobs. They are free to hire their own team of management, staff members, employees and even shareholders. This in turn results in a domino effect creating further roleplay scenarios for other people connected to the chain.
  11. A collection of GIF's I've created. A majority are Russian crime themed as they were initially just for myself. Feel free to use them if you'd like.
  12. You already get $200,000 out of thin air, adding more money into the equation won't solve anything. If you're complaining about your criminal characters not having enough money -- that is the reality. It's hard being a criminal unless you excel significantly and manage to end up at the top of some sort of enterprise (drug kingpin, arms dealer, etc). However, I do agree with the fact that the server is heavily favored (financially) towards legal roleplay. There needs to be certain adjustments put in place to cater more to the illegal side. Whether or not the solution is a larger paycheck, I don't know. There should be a slight imbalance when it comes to the difficulty of making money as a illegal or legal character, but currently legal far outweighs illegal.

  14. You won't be able to afford it. Focus on the car brother.
  15. The Roaring and Powerful VAPID CONTENDER This mighty truck has been tuned to absolute perfection with all the performance modifications you can think of. This vehicle is registered and the insurance policy remains active for an additional 23 days from the post of this advert. This vehicle sports extremely low mileage with just 400 km on the odometer. No security upgrades have been added on this vehicle. Please contact me at 10406728 or email me at [email protected] (( PM )) Starting Bid: $150,000 Current Bid: $150,000 Buy-out: $250,000 Minimum Bid Increase: $10,000
  16. Almost all businesses have a discord server, that should suffice in terms of OOC chat. As for the initial suggestion about spawning at business HQ, that's a good idea.

if the community is [still] big enough by then and there's enough support for it, I don't see why it wouldn't happen.
