  1. Big big +1. Fuck around, find out you don't get to fuck around and eat your cake too.
  2. You always were a G, thanks for your service 'n fun times!

  3. Thankfully, this command already exists! When no coroners are online, we can /sendtomorgue a corpse after sufficient NPC roleplay. The flipside of this is, when there's 1/2/3 coroner's online and ~20 bodies that need picking up, weeeelll... That's a long-ass wait.
  4. Definitely a +1 from me. Let's be honest here, getting shot currently carries laughably little consequences.
  5. I don't think you understand how often a crime goes unpunished on the server. How many shootings are never followed up on because... the scripts aren't in place. I'm not gonna pull a % outta thin air, but I think I can safely say at least 50%+ of crimes never result in the criminal getting caught.
  6. As a frequent pilot in the LSPD, let me give my two cents on this whole shebang. No, AIR should not be a reactionary force. Why? Because, at the time of writing this, a pilot is already enforced to roleplay a start-up sequence of the helicopter, taking a minimum of 3 minutes before take-off is allowed. 3 Minutes may not feel like much, but take into consideration the following; as much as the zero-NPC populace is a detriment to Illegal RP'ers, it is also a huge benefit to them when it comes to fleeing/evading. You wouldn't believe the insane ridiculous amount of corner-cutting, wrong-way driving and curb-mounting we as officers see on a regular basis, all because there is practically zero traffic on the streets. The problem arises that we, as LEO RP'ers, are enforced to stick to proper driving etiquette. Only the leading pursuit unit follows into oncoming traffic as necessary, following units must remain in correct lanes, only 4 units may be in pursuit of a vehicle at all times. 3 Minutes, for a criminal in a fast car that doesn't give a ship about road rules, is plenty of time to get away. Now, I am not disputing that an airship can stay airbound for a long, long, long time. This is a GTAV thing, just as a regular car can keep driving for a very, very, very long time. Implement strategies, work out back-up plans, think smarter before you do crime. Getting away once caught should not be made as easy as possible. As for the camera's, now seeing /me's&/ame's. Before the update that implemented this, observing a vehicle was borderline useless. Why? I'll use an example I witnessed last week; two dudes sitting in a convertible, with the top down. In the past, I would give this vehicle a glance-over and pass on, because I could not positively identify anything going on inside that vehicle. After this latest update, just as I arrived, I witnessed a /me of the armed robber holding his pistol to the victim's side and snatching away his jewelry. For the first time since I joined ASD, I could positively ID an on-going armed robbery inside a vehicle. Now, this isn't to say there shouldn't be *some* regulation to being able to observe those /me's IC'ly. A roof with dark tints, you wouldn't be able to see movement nearly as well as my example. I feel strongly that LFM should be monitoring pilots as they perform their jobs and expect proper logic to be implemented before something is called in. ASD is already a very small faction, with great leadership. If they weren't great, LFM wouldn't have them in that position. Trust them to keep us regular pilot folk in check, so that we don't call in things we wouldn't be able to see. And finally, on a personal note; If AIR observes you doin' crime, you're doing crime wrong. Plain and simple. The last thing a Criminal would want to have happen, is to get caught. The mindset of 'oh, I'm probably not being watched' is bonkers, simply for the reason that IRL, cameras are everywhere now. Witnesses are everywhere.
  7. Couldn't give a bigger +1 if I tried. It's ridiculous a system like this hasn't already been implemented, considering the game's graphics were never designed for people looking at a car's license plate in detail.
  8. Absolutely looking forward to the inventory update, it's going to make life so much better. One small question though; the video hasn't shown interactions with a safe/stash, I'm assuming that will be integrated into the update, yes?
  9. Whilst realistically, the unlocking/locking of the door is what takes the most time, I fear it would invite more metagame/third party voice shenanigans where Runner X tells Buddy Y to unlock the door and walk away, just seconds before Runner X arrives there to enter.
  10. Impartial, yes, but to be entirely deaf to a faction that consists of.. maybe 20 people? (Speaking of just PD here) In comparison to... well, if we're being honest, at least 200+ people that do active crime ranging from drug distribution to Crime Syndicate stuff? To put the cards on the table, not even the person IN CHARGE of ASD was notified of these new rules, or spoken to about their fairness/influence.
  11. As an active pilot, 5 minutes is a very reasonable time to 'return' to a zone, should nothing be happening in that zone and I'm just flying around looking for crime. The two minutes, though, is laughable in how short it is. It takes a helicopter that full two minutes JUST to fly over South Central, let alone slowing down so you can actually see anything. Just more proof that these rules were not created with ASD 'in the loop', if you will. This is being forced upon us.
  12. I find this funny, considering I've seen SD AIR units specifically mention operating in Davis airspace and solely in Davis airspace. On several occasions, that is.
