That's the exact point, it allows RP between PD and citizens without having someone getting arrested or shot. I'm assuming most people supporting this are not from America because if you were - you would understand that police enforce seatbelts heavily.

First off, I'd appreciate it if you stop questioning my ability to roleplay just because my phone auto corrects a word. Second, making /sb automatic is pointless because nobody is gonna rp not wearing it from that point on. If we make it automatic then there should be some downside to it, such as you gotta take it off to get in or something because making the command automatic just removes the point of the command fully. It seems like this post turned from limiting PD power to removing the command.

It does add to a roleplay scenario, i.e. you get pulled over and don't have a seatbelt on then you have some more roleplay going on.

I don't see the point of removing laws just because you don't like them. You should submit a petition ICly.

For some reason you have a warped definition of roleplay as well. Not wearing a seatbelt intices RP. This is an RP server, there shouldn't be a problem with you having to RP a seatbelt because it creates RP if you don't. Yeah let's remove stop signs and road laws while we're at it.

That made no sense, this is a roleplay server and putting on a seatbelt is part of the roleplaying experience. Realistically you have to put on a seatbelt. Also half of the roleplay day to day doesn't add to character development.
