  2. Pretty much - they have the same come-up and I don't see how it differentiates them either way. Other than their strong and weak points, of course. The "elite" people who act ignorant on modern music whilst only giving face-surface the time of day is entirely ignorant and the reason why so many good artists went under the radar decades ago, leaving those who truly care to find out about them, only to have to buy a pricey vinyl that was printed for friends & family, just to rip it for an "okay" sound-quality. I mentioned this to a friend a while ago - I rarely meet people who truly understand the difference between "underground" and "not listened to much anymore." It's a common mistake, sure, but something about it always managed to irk me and just put me off people like that in general. Although - no opinion is worth more than the other - especially in something as highly subjective as music, tbh.
  3. Women, drugs, and crime make sense at any time. Especially in the 10's, where it seems like an air of materialism is flourishing and starting to become accepted. It's an entirely articulate matter that separates then and today - I'm not even going to bring up the fact that autotune can be classified as an instrument by musical terms but people just think you slap on Antares and everything is fine. Strong points come elsewhere nowadays, clearly not in the sense of being articulate, but again, elsewhere. "Telling a story" within music is still present today, even by rappers with heavy autotune - for example, the most recent thing I can think of is the Rico Story trilogy, by Speaker Knockerz. (rip) The people who think Rap today is "bad" - are looking in the wrong corner, and only taking what they're given. I personally believe that everyone should welcome it as it is right now. From someone who doesn't actively dislike a certain corner - there is honestly something in the genre for almost everyone. The most "90's capturing" music still comes from the same corners it came from in '92. Just because the lingo is different - doesn't mean that people aren't still saying the same things as before. People have just decidedly closed their ears and stopped actually searching and expect things like that to come to them - while sticking with music that's (nearly) 3 decades old.
  4. No one ever compares it, at all. It's two entirely different lanes - and no one even defines it as Hip-Hop anymore (atleast rational thinkers). The reason it's so widely enjoyed is the fact it's so post-modern and easy to pick up etc. No one is going to be like "oh, hey, some guy who relies purely on his adlibbing ability is better lyrically than X person you just mentioned above." You can call someone a "moron" for like something that's again, simplistic and fairly easy on the ears, but that doesn't make it true. Moreover - the lyrical content is near the same, it's just 10x less articulate than it used to be, which really doesn't make much of a difference, more syllables doesn't imply any form of intelligence. Brag rap has existed since the very beginning, I don't see why people suddenly have an issue with it in the 2010's.
  5. i suggested this a while ago and the only reason it wasn't added (i believe) was due to it outperforming an elegy rh8. with the new vehicles being added i rlly dont see why this shouldn't be added at all, tbh. +1
  6. This is a cool suggestion tbh, not on the same page specifically - but I always thought that it shouldn't just show "Mask ID" when you're wearing say - a Unicorn mask or the like (first ludicrous idea that came to my head) so, yeah. Having that being classified the same as a balaclava/bandana really says a lot, and it definitely shouldn't be. e.g Bandana_ID Balaclava_ID would just add a lot more variety and sense of feel, at least to me. As Orca stated above - changing the name in inventory/while purchasing it (e.g Black Bandana x1) would also make a lot more sense, I'm just adding something I deem related. Also - there's a lot of unneeded masks e.g bald caps and Submarine gear that in my book don't even qualify as masks. On the contrary side - there's also quite a few cool/more suitable masks that are missing from the store. A prime example = a darker variant of the Dome vent mask. +1

    Rob Limit.

Kinda agree / there should be a limit, still. 10, 15 or maybe even 20k would work fine. If you're going to carry THAT much at once? It's no one's fault except your own if you lose it. Take responsibility. +1
  8. Vinewood/East Vinewood is pretty unpopulated/unexplored at the moment (minus Tequi-La-La) and I'd actually like to see it implemented in the near-future. Sure - Mirror should still remained the hotspot/central area but it's fairly obvious to me that eventually it'll get stale if you have to stay there forever - thus adding more areas gradually would be a lot better. +1
  9. i like this character just stop wearin FUCKIN 3/4 JORTS smh ..
  10. Actually agree w/ this, yeah. /gSMS or /g would work fine.
  11. +1 - /Low and even /Lower are way, way too extensive and nobody likes a cluttered chat. Especially not inside active interiors and so on. Supporting.

    Group SMS

This may have (correct me if I'm wrong) been suggested in the past, if so I haven't seen it. But pretty much - add Group SMS'ing. It'd work just like a /SMS groupname message - if you have people in it added, they'd show up with names, if not - they'd show up as their numbers. Commands could be simple, like - /createsmsgroup name, /addsmsgroup person/number, /renamesmsgroup name, /removesmsgroup person/number. This would discourage certain demographics being forced to use radio's and it's a lot more realistic than certain demographics having to do so (especially in this day and age, imo.)
  13. blame fiverp and the compliant rule !!!! smh

    Alcohol

+1 on this - Alcohol is very, very tangible/available in GTA - more than enough anims and so on, I don't see why this server should make it an exception at all.
  15. (gangster accent) they will never know ese
  16. This is pretty accurate tbh. I think alot of people saying "oh x religion will get mad because it's not x building" need to re-read the post. Rog states it wouldn't be centered around one religion and rather a neutral religious spot. Different groups can use it at different times and practice their separate religions as they see fit, as again, Rog's already stated it. And I do agree with your point about "church roleplay outside a church" - however, that would be much more difficult to make people donate etc. due to the current fluctuating IC economy. Also, Epsilonists are usually well off, so, go figure.
  17. I'll be supporting this because - other than the points you afore mentioned, this could add a fair amount of potential to character depth and/or development, e.g criminals repenting for said crimes and so on and so forth, or religion-based Illegal RP, plus it would definitely bring a sense of community here, and more than likely be an easy way to make IC friends/connections. +1
  18. Unfortunately right now, there's not really much "reason" other than some light to mid-RP to go out and acquire drugs in-game. I do agree they should have some perks in general, but I don't want it to end up like other servers where the only useful drug is cocaine. (Correct me if I'm wrong, no idea if other servers have executed it well). Maybe other drugs = health boost or something that's equal to the "kevlar" system, cause otherwise the market will get entirely over saturated with the same drug(s), thus lowering the price. (Due to demand & quantity.) Another suggestion that was mentioned I'd like to see = an addiction system, so it wouldn't make drugs entirely overpowered, either. Reward can come with risk. Adding side effects from them like being able to randomly lose a certain amount of HP, passing out for a certain amount of minutes, having an overdose potential (wounded state) due to how much you've taken etc etc. Endless possibilities. Also, the "roleplay the high" point that Portz afore mentioned is also a great idea. +1 on this. edit: Forgot to mention, I think an IC alternative to Naloxone/NARCAN should be purchasable at 24/7's to prevent said side-effects or overdoses.
  19. SCAR is right, and this'd be a cool idea and give even more reason to donate to the server atm. For clarification the only mechanical advantage to do w/ walking/running is that doing it in first person is faster than third, (cannot find said video proving so) which is entirely unrelated to anims/styles. +1
