Only rarely the FPS drops to it being unplayable, but it takes a few seconds and its gone for me. I'm addicted #TeamSlytherin.

For people having issues two key things: update your video card drivers and do the steps here (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2930193120). I have a GTX 1080 and get about 40-60 fps, depending on where I am. Sometimes in more intense places it drops to 30-35 😀

Latest patch made my PC performance much better.

 

Playing on an RTX 2060S/Ryzen 5 2600/16GB RAM on Medium 1080p, not getting 30 FPS in Hogsmeade and cluttered Hogwarts rooms anymore.

Still far from acceptable, but now it's playable, at least.

Probably gonna be a while, apparently it uses a new version of Denuvo.

Empress said that they are almost done with it, they won't implement the new update due to FPS loss, they will use the pre-launch version.

Hopefully in the next days we will have it...

the day 1 patch of the game had many issues and according to many steam posts, it ruined the performance for many people. so i skipped it and worked on the pre-launch version instead. it works great in my testings so far, so hopefully it will work good for everyone as well.

get everything ready and wait for the testing -- the end is near now."
