Toggable NSFW Advertisments.

Detailed Description

Lately I am seeing A LOT of Escort advertisments, looking/for hire or stripper available for hire. Also Escort Agencies doing their advertisments, strip clubs and sex shop advertisments all over /ads.

 

Simply put an option in /ads > settings to disable/enable NSFW Advertisments.

Also an extra option under "Company Advertisment, Business Advertisment and Normal Advertisments" that says "18+", without that option you can't post a NSFW ad using the /ads menu. And players who don't have the NSFW Advertisments enabled won't see those ads in their chat or even in /ads.

Relevant Commands/Items

Two new options in /ads.

First one is /ads > settings menu, Enable NSFW Advertisments - Displays 18+ ads in your chat and in /ads.

Second one in /ads > post advertisment, 18+ advertisment option, check that little box if you want to post a NSFW Advertisment.

 

How will it benefit the server?

Those players who roleplay with minor chars or are under the age of 18 IRL won't see those advertisments in their chat nor in the /ads menu, making it a little more family-friendly for everyone.

Honestly I'd go even further and suggest a proper filter system for all the different kinds of ads. Personally speaking I don't care about a new club opening up on Hawick or such and such.

Please. Recently turned 18 (woop woop) despite the fact I am LEGALLY permitted to now electronic sex on the server, I still do not care for it and would rather spend that energy getting a girlfriend IRL.

 

Anywho, yes. I don't care about a sex shop opening or an escort advertising their services, if you must, do it, but I do not care, nor do I want to see it!

if you want to roleplay sexual acts on the game you should be required to send a picture of your passport to the GTAW staff team proving you are of age

I wish there was a way to block specific businesses/companies or numbers OOCly so you won't see their ads..

This is not that good idea, some countries have different legal ages or legal age of consent.  
(16/18/12 etc, feel free to google it).

 

Plus some people don't want to take pictures of their passport for safety reasons (A qucik example: an admin's discord gets hacked/stolen, along with all the passports that players sent to confirm their IRL age), imagine the damage.

 

There must be a better idea, but for now let's solve this advertisement problem

Doesn't matter what age your country say you can consent... It's the servers rules that you must be 18.

Really? There were supposed to be put against the rules. That's extremely wierd that they are showing back up. Particularly the escort ads

 

I was told to report em if you see em in game. And they tend to be removed. Give it a go

Will do next time I see one, thing is not only escort ads showed up but also "looking for a job" type of ads which is also against the rules.
