Sixth
I have stuttering in this game when I really don't think I should. My specs are: i5 9600k RTX 2070 16gb of RAM The game is installed on an SSD. My ping is at a constant 90! Link to comment
maramizo
Ping has nothing to do with FPS. Link to comment
Iovino
What I did to fix slightly stutter on occasion was lower the grass, water quality etc. I also turned of the MSAA. It fixed that issue for me. The specs I have can run GTA with no problem but when I changed those settings, I haven’t had an issue since. Link to comment

Rohan.
Ping does not have anything to do with game stuttering at all. If you're referring to vehicles teleporting in and out, that's majorly RAGEMP sync and your high ping adding onto it. Some fixes for game stuttering: 1. Turn down MSAA to 2x or below in Graphic Settings. 2. Turn down Grass Quality to NORMAL or below in Graphic Settings. (Grass Settings eat a lot of FPS) 3. Try turning down your settings overall because RAGEMP is not optimized to the best and it does not provide you the best performance ingame. Alternatively, if you do not have your game in SSD, I do recommend you install it in a SSD and have anything over 8GB RAM. These settings helped me fix stuttering and texture streaming issues with my game. Link to comment
xdthe
I regularly get 130-150 ping due to me living in the United States. It hasn't affected my FPS, only thing it's exarcebated was the occasional desync and game lag. Never FPS drops though. With that being said, with my high ping, the game is usually still fine with me with the exception of the occasional issue. Link to comment
joaoivis
I can confirm that I used HDD my whole life and had heavy stuttering in GTAW. Just bought a SSD and installed GTA V in it and I have zero stutter and can play on high quality. GTX 1050 4GB 8gb RAM Intel 7th Gen SSD 480gb Link to comment
mencurry
I've been playing on GTAW with 250-300ms ping for almost a year now and it has nothing to do with stutters. Link to comment
