Everything being a bar

People just need to keep trying, sure I've had nights where my restaurant get ten customers. But what about real life? They don't turn them into bars, the issue is consistency and honestly if you're in it for the 20k and not making an different rp experience for people on the server you should probably not have a business in the first place if you turn it into a bar because of lack of patience,  original bars and clubs are what they are. Coffee shops and restaurants shouldn't be some sort of weird lounge (read bar) hybrid because you're trying to get more money out of it.

Chipotle sells beer in the US and that's fast food.

 

Nut Buster Kebab my kebab shop sells bottles of Syrian bee and I did put a tap object to sell local brands of beer, but then Nut Buster is casual dinning rather than corporate fast food. 

 

With that said there is a BIG BIG difference between Burger Shot selling bottles of beer and for example Wigwam burger turning it into a burger, bar AND BLACKJACK mini casino. 

 

Not meaning to pick on Wigwam or w/e but you guys stick out in my mind lol, super entertainment center.

Based on my understanding, the Wigwam's intended to function as a McDonalds, in the context of GTA: Lore.

This is one of the new owners of Wigwam. I don't think what it used to be in GTA lore is any concern to what we can RP in it, but since the topic started discussing a flaw in Wigwam, I'm responding to explain, although I don't think much is needed. I have no idea how Wigwam was used in the lore, and I don't care much about it anyways. I also want to know what makes you think we are a fast food/restaurant, since we haven't sold a single food in our openings, we also advertise it as a bar, and we plan on adding food, but just the ones that are sold in bars, as in Buffalo wings, fries, etc. And just FYI, a LOT of bars in the US sell small fast food like burgers and chicken nuggets and stuff like that. I don't see the problem in this one.

This doesn't exactly look like anything other than a fast food joint. I don't know which of the two Wigwams in the game you are currently running, it might be the other one with no/less markings. But this store, on Boulevard Del Perro, sets precedent for the type of business Wigwam is.

 

You wouldn't turn UpnAtom into a bar, would you?

It's the other one, not this one. And I actually can ICly, I buy a place, I apply for the proper licenses and I can sell whatever I want in it, I can turn it to a flower shop if I IC'ly want to do that. Just because it was a fast food joint in GTA lore, it doesn't mean it should forever sell burgers only. I definitely would try to change the looks of the place, I don't know if it's even possible to change the exterior or cover up some parts with other texts, but in real life, you can buy any fast food place and turn it into whatever you want through some paperwork. Plus when we bought the place, it already had the legal documentations to ICly sell booze and food, so it's just an IC matter and there is NOTHING OOC about it.

But why does it make sense to you to take a business that is, on the outside, intended for one thing and turn it into something completely different on the inside? Sure, you can do whatever the fuck you want with the right legal documentation and licensing. But it doesn't make sense from a roleplay perspective.

Talking from a roleplay perspective, It would be very easy to remove that Wigwam sign from the top. There is also nothing in the interior that makes the place even look close to a fast food joint. Also there is the fact that the place already has the licenses to work as a bar, and that's why we are doing that. If you can't see the point in that, there is no point in going back and forth. It's pretty obvious to me that it's very common to buy a place and change how it works, all over the world, and also, there is no issue with having a bar sell a limited number of fast food options (Not that we have sold them yet), as they mostly do all over the world. I fail to see the RP standpoint you are talking about apart from changing some bullshit lore-related facts and I believe we have let the PM know of what we are doing already and we would've been told if there was anything wrong with it.

not really a valid point when interiors are mostly custom on gtaw

 

you wouldn't try and turn a bank into a strip club or a car dealership into a casino.
