Short description:

Door lock to be stored back inside the inventory.

Detailed description:

It's not realistic to remove a lock and loose it after, when you can instead have it stored back inside your inventory, and use it for another door or so. Even it's not worth it, but once again it's not at all realistic. However, the lock can have a slightly increased price, or even think about offering two kind of door locks at the store, one with the same price (500$) that can only be used once (materials used are not sustainable for example), and another type than can be used for more than a time.

Another way to avoid abuse, that type can probably make you able to use that lock for three times only, maybe.

Agree with this. $500 adds up when replacing door locks after shifting things around your property/business. We recently had an issue where one door would not allow door locks being installed or removed which essentially made the door non-functional. After a report, we were told it had 10 door locks on it and it was subsequently removed (it hasn't worked right since). Realistically, I would imagine you would not need to destroy a door lock in order to replace or remove it.

Especially with interiors where locks frequently spazz out, it is very frustrating to have to replace them every couple days and over time, costs rack up. From an in-character perspective you would not break that lock upon removal either, it would be replaces or removed and them could be reused unless it is taken out by a silly bloke.

No from me. Right now they are the only "furniture object" that has to be transported on place from somewhere else and it is not costing that much either. Just RP it as construction/renovation costs.

Bro, it costs 500$ and it's not 'cheap' for everyone. Knowing how buggy the doorlock system is right now? 10 of them don't work at the first try and sometimes they disappear. /removelock should give the doorlock back in the inventory and it's really needed.
