And where's this continuity thread? It hardly explains anything.

Is the bit that explains it, as for the continuity thread? Seems like a case same as "We're looking to bring you this update(trucking) in a few weeks, but in reality it took little over half a year before we got our hands on it. The timeline in which things are supposed to come is a little loose here, so grab something to hydrate yourself because this might just take a while. ?
