I think I need to clarify that my system for playing baseball IG was used during training, actual college games were simulated. I'd like to think the training was fun and you didn't need to know baseball to actually engage as you were learning the robes through the roleplay. But as concluded like so many before me, without the people to drive it all, it'll just fizzle out.

I've already done it in the past, I have a system for playing baseball IG that worked okay. We had some good moments and made some ULSA lore along the way, overall it was a success to me. I just sadly lost my momentum when I was setting OOTPB 23 up with a complete 1:1 of NCAA's conferences and divisions in baseball, as that was way too big a task I had taken upon myself. You just need to be ready to carry the whole thing by yourself as you're unlikely to find someone with the same drive as you to run it all in your absence.

I think this should should have been what LC released with and not as a reaction to the fading player base and the answers of it wouldn't happen when asked about it prior to the launch. That said this is definitely a unique possibility and it's really exciting, I just hope there's gonna be a player base big enough to support it. 🙏

Point 7 is a huge missed opportunity, working from the reasoning in point 5 you have an opportunity to offer something the other communities can't and that would be travel between the two regions. I understand the need of letting LC take off on it's own, to grown it's identity, but to straight up never being able to move between the two? That leaves the place offering basically the same as other communities / projects, I acknowledge the ability to chat between the two cities vis LS mail and facebrowser, and it is nice you don't have to get whitelisted again, but I still feel there's a huge potential left on the ground. Just my 2 cents.

I know femboys use female player models to get access to female clothes, can't see why it shouldn't work the other way around. There is now powergaming to it in my optic it merely determine how you appear, and if you're a female that looks like a male, then the male player model is fitting.

Let's not compare to those jobs, they are already overpaid. For reference, as Chancellor at ULSA you make 5k an hour, skewed in comparison. But your other point is what I was pointing towards, there needs to be an incentive to hire a crew and provide roleplay to others, it's what we're here for after all.

Meanwhile I'm sitting here thinking, with your 300k investment and 11k per run you're looking at almost 30 trips to break even and finally start making profit. That's sorta how investments work, you invest so you have a way to earn money. Once you're past the initial wallet bleedout, buying all that and a license, you're left with the only expense being fuel and eventually maintenance. One could argue you could have split the expenses by partnering up with someone, you're buying a tug and a truck it's a big investment, and fishing is not a get rich quick scheme. Trawlers are a really expensive vessel IRL and this kind of reflects that steep investment, it's not something every regular Joe should own, it's a business investment. The only bad thing I see in this is the fact you have no incentives to hire a crew to take with you, having to one-man a fishing boat like that is not a great rp opportunity. But maybe that's just me.

This is merely a cosmetic change, yet I'm still in favor of it, maybe this way some unlucky guy asking me for $40 expecting to get $400 won't be so upset when I only pay him what he asked.

Last time I tried, after the 1.1 mind you, I wasn't even able to connect the 5th wheel on, and before that, when I was finally able to do so It wouldn't raise the landing legs which made them drag along and cause trouble and in the end I wasn't able to disconnect the trailer. What you mention was the case for 0.3.7.
