luigikuik
Reckless taxi driver backed by police From the SAAN news desk Just after midnight on April the eight our reporter was driving around Davis searching for something to report on when he found a taxi driver arguing with a customer. The customers claimed that the driver was driving recklessly and almost got them killed so they wouldn't pay. The driver called the police and after he called 911 five times a beanie wearing law enforcer arrived at the scene and tried to resolve the issue. When you call a taxi you assume that the driver will do anything you get you to your destination in the quickest and safest way possible. This driver who wished to remain anonymous took being quick to heart, however the safe part was completely disregarded. Nothing was too crazy for this driver: running red lights, going double the allowed speed limit and driving against the flow of traffic. The driver got to the destination in record speed, even when missing the right turn. When he arrived the customers declined to pay since they wanted to arrive to their destination without being in shock. The driver got angry and almost rammed the two of them with his car before calling 911. The customers said that they wouldn't report him if he would just let them go. However he got furious and kept calling 911 for multiple times while the customers were patiently waiting, hoping that the police would do something to help them. When a law enforcer did arrive he wasn't the savior they were looking for. The law enforcer stated that the disagreement about paying was something for small claims court and not for the police to decide. The law enforcer did force the customers to pay the amount the taxi driver said they owed him. When the customers protested he raised his voice and threatened arrest to them. When the customers stated that the driver put them in harms way, the driver protested and said he drove perfectly normal. The customers paid in the end and reported the incident to the management of the company. The management invited our reporter over to talk about the incident. They stated that they took the report serious and talked to the driver in question. The driver admitted his wrong doings and said he wasn't in the right state of mind. The management didn't see anything wrong with the driver during his probation period and training and this thing has never happened to the company before. The manager took steps to ensure discipline in company and guarantees that something like this never happens again. The company shouldn't be canceled because of the acts of a rogue driver. D.Devil
**Luca Molinaro would be sitting in their taxi waiting for taxi calls, whilst waiting Luca has a small box with 6 sugar coated donuts sitting on their stomach. He reaches for their phone and would scroll through the news articles on as a "taxi article" suddenly caught his attention. Luca would read the entire article closely whilst munching his donuts down one after another, Luca at first let's out a slight chuckle as his lips and mouth are covered in sugar, as he proceeds to read through the article he'd laugh more and more and would choke on their donut. Luca is literally dying of laughter, luckly he managed to swallow the piece of donut he was choking on and begins to write a comment**Name: LucaComment: You forgot to mention that the blue and white taxi's belong to Elysian Cabs. What a joke. Edited April 10, 2020 by D.Devil Link to comment
Fernando
** Charlie Kirstein sits down on his office chair and powers on his Toshiba laptop computer. He logs in and starts looking for the long awaited article about his company. He stumbles upon SAAN's most recent article and reads it, chuckling to himself. Suddenly, he scrolls down and reads the first comment, bursting out laughing. He ponders for a few moments before posting a public comment on the article page. ** Name: Charlie Kirstein Comment: At least we don't rip off our customers. Don't listen to the other arrogant companies. We're hiring at https://jobs.elysian-cabs.com Support us by not giving the other hostile companies the attention they seek. Link to comment
D.Devil
Name: LucaComment: "other hostile companies"? This article shows there only is one hostile company. I think I'd rather be "ripped off" than get run over. I'll leave it at that. Link to comment
ibbi
Name: Nar Comment: "This article shows". I can write a thousand articles claiming the companies calling themselves integral to be real nice people, but that still won't make the scammers look any better. I would better travel with a company that offers quick, cost-effective and safe transport than getting ripped off in every single journey. Link to comment

Juitra
** Avram Kogan sits down to eat lunch and opens up the news pages on his phone. He looks for the article specifically knowing that the press reporter had been making a lot of noise, reads to the bottom, but has to laugh as the article confirms the police did not find any fault with the taxi driver. Bored he goes to the sports section and continues eating** Edited April 10, 2020 by Jankara Link to comment
