Don't think a bus can and would be cheaper in this setting either, taxi's would be used way more frequently and you'd never have more than a handful people in a bus, sure in RL they're way cheaper but they mass transport people, something which we wouldn't be able to do in a server with an average of 250-300people online. Probably a bus would be cheaper as they're slower, but I doubt people would drive around in them 90% cheaper than a taxi. ? Don't forget purchasing a taxi is only 30k, a bus is 114k - they'll most likely run around a bit cheaper than a taxi would.

Doubt people would hop in a bus and have the bus driver go from checkpoint to checkpoint and wait for an x-amount of time at these checkpoints.. they're probably better off just calling a friend to pick them up or use /taxi. The idea is nice as it may be realistic, but it's not viable in this setting.

He reaches for their phone and would scroll through the news articles on as a "taxi article" suddenly caught his attention. Luca would read the entire article closely whilst munching his donuts down one after another, Luca at first let's out a slight chuckle as his lips and mouth are covered in sugar, as he proceeds to read through the article he'd laugh more and more and would choke on their donut. Luca is literally dying of laughter, luckly he managed to swallow the piece of donut he was choking on and begins to write a comment** Name: Luca Comment: You forgot to mention that the blue and white taxi's belong to Elysian Cabs. Also, another little addition I'd like to add, which I also suggested in my suggestion last week but it never really got answered or implemented is have a better /pay system for taxi drivers in which an 'official' taxi company such as myself and elysian cabs could benefit off a little more. I know we have /paytaxi, however no one bothers or cares to use it. Even when asked to use it, 7 out of 10 times, they use /pay eitherway. I suggest having /paytaxi integrated into /pay, when an ON DUTY taxi drivers receives money through /pay, it'll automatically take the tax set by the company they work for. Whilst their OFF DUTY this doesn't affect their /pay income. Similar to truckers, as to when they deliver their goods, their company takes it's tax. I'm aware for taxi drivers this'll be different as it's player to player interaction and not entirely based on a script. I'm not sure how hard or it's even do-able to implement these two commands into one and only have it affect taxi drivers. However, I do feel like it need some kind of change, as right now it does defeat the company tax's purpose entirely. Hoping this could be looked at and implemented if at all possible. Or perhaps have a pay button next to the meter, customers which use the taxi see the meter running and adding up, maybe have it so customers can click on a "pay" button which would be somewhere next to the meter and have it automatically take the company percentage tax.

Short description: We need more more options to accept calls from whoever you wish to pick up and a better money system in which official taxi companies could benefit off of the percentage too Detailed description: Our current taxi system works but it's not great.. it'd be nice if it could get a lil more work done to it, for example by adding a /taxiaccept [number/playerid] - right now, you /taxiaccept the first person that requested a taxi and 9/10 times they either forget to /canceltaxi their request and the person that comes after has to either wait for quite a while or the taxi driver has to /taxiaccept, go to it's location, see if the customer is still there, if not, they need to /taxidone to move on to the next call. It's all just a massive hassle or the customer have moved to a different location entirely. By adding the /taxiaccept [number] it's would work better for serious taxi companies such as myself and possibly increase calls for us due to people not having to wait too long (if and when there's a taxi on duty) - plus with the current taxi system we cannot have a dispatcher, which in my opinion would increase RP drastically. Also something that would be nice, if you're on duty and you work for a company, whenever you get /paid by your customer it would take the company fee and transfer it to the company's treasury, i know we have a /paytaxi option but this is rarely to never used by anyone which also means a company wouldn't earn money if they have set a certain percentage of company fee. Commands to add: /taxiaccept [number/playerid] - /pay (already there) however if it can be reworked so when the taxi driver is on duty while working for an official company it'll take the company fee automatically (like /paytaxi) it's just almost no one wants or care to use /paytaxi which defeats it's purpose and the company fee's purpose entirely) Items to add: N/A How would your suggestion improve the server? It would increase RP for taxi companies and also have it so people wouldn't have to wait for their taxi request to get accepted if someone else before them forgets to /canceltaxi their request, which would increase transportation RP massively Additional information: N/A
