  1. While this is a minor edit that may make things a little closer to their IRL counterpart, it's important to remember that GTAW has its own lore and its own history. I think they're okay as it is, the difference isn't that huge.
  2. I just realized that this is a thing, where you can hear wind/ambient noises in your house. I agree with you, it would be much more immersive if you can toggle the ambient noises in your property.
  3. It shouldn't, you should contact the administrator who handled it and explain that you were waiting for the breakin request to be handled; however, given that it has taken some time, you've went on to do something else in the meantime. Hopefully breakin requests may be handled quicker in the future but the original point of the suggestion regarding the removal of administrative supervision should still stand.
  4. Hi! From my understanding, it goes under server-files. You might want to follow the following trouble shooting steps, maybe one of them could help you out. 1. Reinstall RAGE Multiplayer 2. Make sure you have a clean game, no mods should be installed (To make troubleshooting easier and because they don't work with RAGE Multiplayer) 3. Reinstall GTA V or verify the files through Steam/Social Club 4. Run RAGE Multiplayer with Admin rights 5. Make sure you have the required redistributables: a) https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145 b) https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=53344&desc=dotnet462 6. Install RAGE Multiplayer and GTA V on the same drive 7. Install RageMP and GTA V on different drives. 8. Disable any overlays (For example, Steam overlay, OBS, Discord overlay, Overwolf). 9. Make sure you have a save file(started Singleplayer and saved the game). 10. Uninstall all other GTA V Mods. 11. Disable your firewall/antivirus or add an exception to your firewall or antivirus so it doesn't do anything to the RageMP exe files 12. Right click on ragemp.exe and select Troubleshoot compatibility 13. (NVIDIA USERS) Disable Shadowplay 14. (STEAM ONLY) Completely close Steam, and then launch RageMP and let RageMP open Steam. 5. The thing about custom license plates is that your vehicle must have been /vparked and that you have logged off the server entirely, aka quit the game, for AT LEAST 10 minutes before going ahead to apply it, otherwise it won't take effect immediately. What you can do is, you can wait until the next server restart, which is done on a daily basis at 8:00 AM server time, I believe?, and once the daily restart has taken affect, spawn your vehicle and check if the custom license plates have been implemented. If not, then you can proceed with the refund request. It's always preferred for you to wait at least 24 hours, until daily restart, before posting a refund request. @Lelorna
  6. That's great to hear, that the issue has been resolved. If the issue persists, please do not hesitate to reach out to me and I'll bring back your topic for you, for further discussions and brainstorming to resolve this issue! @Smudge
  7. Topic has been L&A'd given that all the questions have been addressed!
  8. Hey there! As stated by an admin on this topic, you do NOT have to sit by the door and wait for the breakin request to be accepted. You should be able to go around and about your business until your request has been accepted. Unfortunately, during peak times, it may be difficult to have administrators respond to situations straight away, as there is usually A LOT going on at the same time and that's when things get priorities. Beside that point, it would be unfair for the other player if someone breaks into their property and they end up losing their stash despite the other party just rushing through the property with very basic "/me seaches."
  9. I definitely agree with this! It's something that I struggled with at some point and should be adjusted!
  10. Unfortunately there isn't much difference between "new" and "used" cars beside a number that's chucked down there and labelled as mileage. It by no way affects your vehicle's performance and maintenance cost. As for the prices themselves, I think realistically speaking, your character shouldn't be buying waaaaaay too many cars and swapping them out so often! You need to be able to pick and choose what vehicle suits your character more. I honestly don't think that the current vehicle prices are an issue, while they seem a lot higher than what they would be, realistically, you need to factor in that people have shit loads of money in the bank and that's spoken by someone who has that amount of money! It's a good thing for the community's economy that the vehicle prices remain a little high in an attempt to control the economy.
  11. Google is your best friend in these situations. Scrolling through the different interiors could help you make a more informed decision.
  12. Hey there, so you're not supposed to be downloading server assets every time you launch. Downloading server assets should only take place when there is an update or a new feature has been released. It is necessary to run RAGEMP as an admin, I don't think there's a way to by-pass that. Aaand this topic has been moved to Player Support section! @Unkindmuse
  13. Hii! > I'm heavily against tenants being given the perms to sell all your furniture, even if they have construction rights, yes. That just means they are one tiny command away from selling your entire mapping to the server with no possibility of ever retrieving it, should you ever want it. You risk running into issues where a tenant "accidentally" sells all the owner's furniture and this generally just opens up the possibility of mistakes happening more often. > As for adding alarms and safes, there shouldn't be too much of a risk running those, so that's fine by me. > I'm not a fan of tenants being able to access the /pinfo as it opens the doors to very risky metagaming. Nope!
  14. Realistically speaking, if at any time you walk into a general store/convenience store, you would very easily be able to buy a pack of cigarettes. I like the above idea about tobacco-based businesses should be focused on on dispensaries and maybe there could be a hookah script, which would encourage players to maybe go and buy one.
  15. I'm against this one because it brings around A LOT of confusion and entire systems may need to be re-worked to accommodate this adjustment. For instance, PD would have to adjust and modify their entire paperwork filings to adjust this along with SD, I presume, FD and all governmental entities that may require you to write some stuff down.
  16. Hm, since we've adapted to the new advertisement notification, it could be neat if you get a notification of what the SMS entails. Maybe this could be something you could RP, as in viewing the text without actually seeing it, just like how it is IRL if you hold your thumb down on a chat, you can view it's contents without actually opening the message.
  17. Should definitely be a thing, /ame's are a life saver when there are a lot of people in a certain area as it could limit spamming! Lovely suggestion!
  18. The idea is actually pretty creative; however, it would require a rework a lot of script features and items and as such, might take some time before it comes to light. Similar to how you can give people keys you should be able to change your door's locks but it could be a good idea that there would be a sidejob/business that focuses on acting as a blacksmith where they are able to change the door keys and duplicate keys, to either properties or cars.
  19. Hey @Gamble, given that there is already a topic dedicated for vehicle inventory change; this topic has been L&A'd!
  20. While it is frustrating to sit around and wait for a breakin request to be accepted, you must understand that supervision is essential during breakin requests, because afterall, you are breaking into SOMEONE else's property, where they may have cash/drugs/weapons etc stored. The presence of an administrator there to answer your RP questions and provide you with the items that you may come across is important and cannot be substituted with a simple breakin because you'd need someone to be able to tell you if you'd be able to find what you're looking for in where you're looking or if you come up empty handed. All of which require human supervision of the situation.
  21. Sounds like a decent feature, though, something definitely needs to be done about the pistol-whipping and make sure that stealth shots/injuries are the same as the normal ones.
  22. Yeah but but the issue with this is mostly you'd want to know WHO is on the other side of the door. Are they a friend? Are they masked individuals? Are they cops? Based on the who, you'd be able to decide if you want to open your doors or not!
  23. Would definitely be amazing to have! My character's Halloween costume got super messy cause I couldn't sort out the mask 😞
