  1. It takes me 1:33 to load from desktop to the login window. Timed it last week due to a Discord conversation, and that time includes a small Steam update as well. 2. For what it is worth, I am not intending for this to become a topic of people shitting on FLD. I understand that it isn't like they can just say "OK take it off" and be done with it; it would definitely need management's approval. And honestly, other than it 1) taking so long and 2) cooldowns/bans (especially bans) having ridiculous timers, I do appreciate the concept of FLD rather than driving to city hall in-game, walking to an icon and buying a CCW or PF. It does add some immersive depth, but IMO it is too much depth. I would love to take this up ICly, but on the last thread it was stated that this is not an IC issue, and State Gov can't change it. Personally I would rather this be taken ICly, and additionally even making FLD State ran (my IRL permit is signed from the law enforcement superintendent (high-level bureaucrat) and the governor). Regardless, this questionnaire is only for me to visualize the support/opposition to the "good cause", so at least from there I have number to address it with whoever I need to.
  3. Not trying to reopen this can of worms, but I'm creating a new thread simply for the poll. Continuation of this topic: Should the "Good Cause" justification requirement/question be removed from the CCW application? I am keeping this OOC due to this reply on the last thread: Keep any conversation civil, please.
  4. +1 I'd love to be inconvenienced because a terrible gas station owner/manager forgot to order gas of all things (so long as it wasn't every single gas station out of fuel)
  5. I understand the concerns and admit you all are right. Suggestion has been edited, hopefully the new concept changes some of your minds! Thank you 🙂
  6. +1 I've seen a few people wondering why, as a personnel or fleet manager, they can't insure company vehicles.
  7. I get that, and while I agree that it would add some confusion, I'm envisioning that it would only bounce between two time zones: GMT+0 (zulu) and GMT-8 (Pacific). I definitely do understand the concern for confusion, though. Just looking for ways to be able to do more daytime RP, and not be stuck with nights constantly. Bolded would also be a potential solution in my "problem". I just don't want anyone to be affected negatively by this and have it be a then-permanent issue for them instead. Regardless, thanks all for your feedback so far 🙂
  8. Original: New: Detailed Description In light of @Odin's reply on here, I am altering my original suggestion. I propose that we adjust the server time, and "roll it back" anywhere from two to six hours; I believe ideally would be four. This will allow North American players the opportunity to login during the week and get at least an hour or so of daylight. For instance, as it stands now, I get off of work at 4:00 PM CST. That is 10:00 PM in the server. If we adjusted by four hours, it would be 6:00 PM in the server, allowing NA players a few hours of RP during daytime, during the work/school week. Relevant Commands/Items None. How will it benefit the server? Same concept/comment as OP, except not an alternating time.

    Another Server

Yeah, it was a discord announcement. Here is the post on LC forums: https://forum-lc.gta.world/topic/84908-liberty-city-revamp/

    Repair System

+1 I don't think it's possible with cosmetic damage and as stated above, sometimes hitting a bump can scratch your vehicle which gets annoying, and that would get old quick. However, also as stated above, if it were based on the HP of the vehicle, I'd be down for that. At 5% HP or below, the vehicle could just die/stop and at that point you'd need to call a truck to have it towed to a shop.
  11. makes sense, nvm then carry on as you were.
  12. You're quite the expert on this server after being here for a whole hour.
  13. Admins- could you please add a poll to this post, maybe? "Should the "Good Cause" question be removed from the CCW application?" Just yes & no responses. Thanks!
  14. Lot's of insecure toxicity it seems in regards to gender standards. Very weird, considering if you wouldn't use it, why care so much? Y'all wild. +1, I'll never use it, but the next guy might.
  15. I love shuffling my library, county to 2000's Alt.
  16. We know. We are using this forum as intended to discuss changes that apparently more than just I would like to see. The problem is, there is nothing to articulate, dude. The reasoning in it of itself is that the crime rate in the server is crazy. I call the cops every time I get robbed, it is NOT my fault they didn't write a report on it and I have absolutely NO way of knowing if they did so or not. At the very least, if we can't just get rid of this assenine requirement, you guys need more "guidelines". This tells me literally nothing that you guys want: I'll happily take this discussion to FLD discord, but I will not waste my time or energy explaining my points for it to get dismissed. If you want some real life pointers on how CCW/PF licensing works IRL, hit me up anytime- MAK0#3446
