  1. I never said that every person would have access to this. I added that you'd need a banking license, basically letting player ran banks to exist
  2. +1 I litterally suggested the same idea, letting players operate a bank, offering loans and getting deposits, helped by new commands
  3. If you would be able to pick a city to RP, which one should it be and why?
  4. I go with the starting 50K, would like to see exterior too
  5. There would be a hassle if players take the money away from the bank or simply don't have any money to pay back. In real life banks take their fees automatically from your account, it shouldn't be different here. Banking roleplay and loan giving roleplay is currently non existent in the server.
  6. /withdraw the cash like if you'd do in real life, having 0$ in your bank account to not pay it? Then you'd need to keep the cash in your house or with you, allowing the lender to get it back by force in case scammed. Besides, the lender might make you put your house or car as a guarranty in the first place, making even more money if you 'scam' them. The bank always wins.
  7. It's just the oposit as micromanagement. After lending, the money would flow automatically to your account without having to do anything. In real life all banks have their loans fees with automatic payments.
  8. Short description: Remove /deposit command. Well, basically limit it. Before you say no, please read the detailed description. Detailed description: In modern times, especially in developed countries, cash is used less and less often. All legal companies pay with bank transfers in real life. In game, when you do a legal job, you should get bank transferred, when you buy a house or a car, or any legal good, the money is deducted from the bank account, not the cash. Who would be able to deposit money into their bank accounts? Business owners and managers. Paying with cash won't be illegal of course, so let's say a nightclub opens, the bouncer collects 30K in cash and the bartender 10K cash in drinks. They would give that cash to the business owner on manager, they would deposit it into their bank account, and bank transfer their employees. So basically the idea is that only legal business owners and managers should be able to /deposit. PD, SD and gov faction should be able to deposit as well. Players reolaplying judges should be able to see players bank transfer history, and start investigations if they notice something fishy. Commands to add: None, just limit /deposit to business owners, managers and PD, SD, gov faction. Items to add: none How would your suggestion improve the server? I think it will boost illegal roleplay a lot, enabling money laundering roleplay, investigations, etc. Nowadays, there's no difference between legal and illegal money, it's all the same. Illegal roleplayers who aren't running a legal business, will need to take more care of their illegal money, not being able to simply deposit in the bank. You won't be able to buy a house or car legally, unless to manage to launder the money. You can still buy them to other players if they want to accept cash, but they might ask for a higher price. Possibilities for new RP are endless if we just limit /deposit to certain people. Additional information:
  9. Short description: A loan system allowing players to create an IC contract where money is transferred automatically each day, also allowing guarranties. Detailed description: The idea is simple, add a /loancreate (Player) (Amount) (Interest) (days) (GuarrantyID) command. For example, Bob lends Sarah 100K with a 10% interest rate to be paid in 10 days. Sarah puts her Kawaii car as a guarantee. Each day, 11K will be removed from Sarah's bank account to be transferred to Bob's, no matter if they are online or not. Let's say that after five payments, Sarah is unable to pay because she doesn't have enough money in her bank account. Those missing payments will add more interest, meaning she'll have to pay more. By day ten, since she hasn't paid half of the daily fees, total due reaches 115K, meaning she still has to pay 60K. Bob could /loanextend Sarah, giving her more time to pay for the loan, but that would add more interests. If Sarah fails to pay after the agreed term, her kawaii would automatically be owned by Bob. If Sara was CK, namechanged or banned, the total due would be automatically be paid from her account, or the kawaii given to Bob if she didn't have enough money. Players would be able to view their loan history at UCP and share it to others in order to prove they can be trusted. Commands to add: /guarranties: Gives the player a list of their assets that can be used as guarranty, with their given ID. /loancreate (Player) (Amount) (Interest) (days) (GuarrantyID) /loanextend (Player) (interest) (days) /loanaccept Items to add: none How would your suggestion improve the server? It'd create a whole new type of roleplay, helping both illegal and legal roleplayers. This would let player ran banks to exist, letting people lend you money and lend to others at a higher interest, letting the script to do the transfers automatically. Additional information: - Guarranties would be optional. in case there isn't a guarranty and the loan wasn't paid after agreed time, it would give a CK permission to the lender. - You would need to apply for a banking license to be able to do /loancreate
  10. I'd make the server 18+. We only care about limiting underage sexual rp, but what about violence against minors? or drug abuse in minors? That is totally roleplayed and its a bad thing too. Gang members can be 18 y/o and and it wont be that bad. I'd remove scam and robbery limits, but allowing any legal purchase to be done by card. I would make a loan system between players. Where players agree on a fee and it is transfered automatically each paycheck, even being able to put a vehicle or property as guarantee of payment.
  11. Well, even in our server, if we didn't have phones, we'd still find gangs at their blocks, MC's at their clubs, and clubbers at nightclubs, right?
  12. Modern day is the best choice for a roleplay comunity since everyone is familiar with the present and you don't need a specific lore. But if you had to chose a specific time period for a roleplay server, not necesarily on GTA, what would it be and why? I think the 80's or the great depression would be fun, yet not having a cellphone would make things a bit harder. And current Los Santos isn't that far from a dystopian reality, so that'd be a nice choice too.
  13. My two cents here, time of the day shouldn't be relevant for these things. This is a game played by people from all over the world. Some people can only play during day time others only at night. I'd just make some areas, like main avenues at nice heighborhoods to be safe zones
  14. I consider myself a good designer, but since I'm not a donator I can't do much. If we were purists, it wouldn't make sense for a character not being able to buy furniture for their homes, or not being able to advertise their business. For the ones who can't or don't want to donate, being able to hire a designer or advertiser is useful. I know that there is ooc/ic mixing, if you want your business decorated or advertised, you can either pay in game money and hire someone or real money and do it yourself, but there's no other choice to be honest.
  15. In my opinion roleplay needs to be fun and creative while keeping realistic standards. It should be look like a realistic soap opera than real life. All the boring things that your character does happens when you are offline.
  16. A group of junkies (If you can call that ''legal'')
  17. I think civilian roleplay is the best kind of roleplay, offers a lot of poasibilities. Everyone should start as a civilian and develop learning their way into an illegal business, or joining a legal faction if they wanted. And yes, I've seen people that uses gta world as if it was second life, just to hang out with ooc friends in a virtual world, but that doesnt really count as civilian roleplay
  18. I think it's fine if someone says: (Spanish) Aye, what's crackin' dude? You know, spanish has slang too, people talk skipping some letters, and using english slang or miss spelling after the (Spanish) shows that the speaker is using spanish slang, without pronouncing everything perfectly. What bothers me is when people abuse miss spelling to show a specific accent, like irish, sourthern american, etc; and as a non native english speaker I can't even understand what I'm reading.
  19. When people say legal roleplay, they think about legal jobs. But what about scripts to allow games such as bowling, darts, ping pong, etc? Would be fun
  20. Elections are fun, yes. They are a good show and create roleplay with events and to the media talking about them. But after the election, nothing really happens.

    Realism vs Fun

Roleplay fun things that are realistic, don't roleplay realistic things that aren't fun. Sometimes you have to roleplay realistic things that aren't fun for you, but are fun for the other player. Like in any multyplayer game you can't have everything go your way. Sometimes you roleplay realistic things that aren't fun, so you can develop your character letting you roleplay fun things later.

    /language

That's what I'm trying to say. /language Spanish sets all your chat to [Spanish] before your chat, and will keep like that until you do /language English. The idea of the suggestion is not to type [Spanish] on every line

    /language

Short description: addition of /language command Detailed description: when you type /language Spanish, any chat you say from now on will automatically show [Spanish] before the chat. when you do /language English then no text will be shown Commands to add: the /language command. Items to add: None How would your suggestion improve the server?: It'd help those roleplaying foreigners Additional information:
  24. Short description: Make Clothing stores work as 24/7 where you need someone working there to actually buy the clothes. Detailed description: A clothing store would be work as a 24/7 needing to have someone roleplaying as the clerk to be able to purchase clothes. A costumer would roleplay browsing through the clothes as they pass through the items and roleplay paying for it to the clerk. They may also roleplay offering assistance, like suggesting what outfits look better. This would allow people to roleplay going shopping with friends without having to NPC a clerk. Commands to add: None Items to add: N/A How would your suggestion improve the server? It wouldn't hurt the server at all, and would give more work roleplay oportunities and also some roleplay for those shopping for clothes. And when you have no current RP and you see a clothing store open, you can go there and RP, asking the clerk if the outfit looks good or bad, asking for suggestions, etc. Additional information: N/A
