Username: Greyfeather Comment: The only thing that surprises me is that anyone out there actually still thinks that there is a difference between the establishment Republican and Democrat parties. They are the same in that, when it matters - when it truly matters - they will both throw lower and middle class families and workers to the wolves. The Republicans did this most obviously by getting us involved in a war in Iraq that we never should have been in and which cost the lives of so many beautiful Americans - my father included. And let's not get started on Oswald Halford and the mess that is LS's political scene. Or the debilitating Raeganomics of the 80s that blew out poverty rates. Then there is the Democrat Party, those self proclaimed champions of the working class and downtrodden. They have the 1994 Clinton Crime Bill (Sponsored by Joe Biden) that led to the mass incarceration of black men, as well as the Global Financial Crisis where President Obama chose to bail out the big banks and allow millions of people lose their homes and livelihoods, while failing to prosecute the corrupt banking executives who caused the chaos in the first place. Or both parties who have so eagerly and for so long allowed domestic manufacturing - and jobs - to be offshored by massive multi-national corporations. Say what you will about Donald Trump, and I do not like him, but he's the first ever President to stare General Motors executives in the face and tell them that if they moved any more manufacturing to Mexico, he'd hit them with massive tariffs. In response to that threat to GM, Ford executives quickly cancelled plans to build a factory in Mexico and instead built locally, giving Americans the chance of a job. But keep pretending that the two establishment parties are any different to each other if that makes you feel better.

Username: Animal Ark Gang Comment: Any time we're open just drop in and we can adminster her C3 and Rabies initial vaccs (if she's still a puppy) or her boosters, if she's a little older. While you're here we can also do a complete blood count (CBC) and blood chemistries to rule out heartworm and some other nasties, as well as a fecal floatation to check for Hookworms eggs and Coccidia cysts. 🐕‍🦺

Why do they? Tribalism. Projection. Insecurity. I think there's many reasons. As a few have already said, just ignore them. They tend to be toxic and get upset OOC when you won't participate in their sordid little power fantasies. There are so many other welcoming and wonderful RPers here. People who add to the server's RP experience.

Animal Ark Veterinary Clinic Our laboratory Sometimes, to work out how to best treat your friend, we have to be detectives and spend some time in our lab. We test all kinds of things here, including blood, urine, skin-scrapes, and our special "fecal floats" (sometimes poo is the clue!). You can see all of our really helpful equipment, including two centrifuges; one for blood and the other for centrifugal floatations. Once we prepare our samples, we then look at them under a microscope. You might be wondering what we see. These are hookworm eggs! They're purple because, after we established there were no motile organisms, we treated the floatation with a special stain. Hookworms latch onto the inside of your friend's intestinal wall and suck blood. Common symptoms can include diarrhea, loss of appetite, anemia and poor growth/weight loss. Luckily, our veterinarian can treat hookworms (and most other parasites) with a course of anti-parasitic drugs. Visit our Facebrowser

Or maybe you accusing others of using Google is a little bit of projection by you? Could it be that people you interact with on the forums have professional lives IRL from which they draw their knowledge? The court can be closed in game, as it is in real life. If your RP quality isn't sufficient to convince a judge, that's really a problem you'd need to work on yourself You have no idea what you're talking about. You're just assuming my character was not credible because of reasons you've concocted in your mind...or could it be that you're upset because you were spoken to by your faction leadership for powergaming in the judicial thread and now you want to blame me because your powergaming attempt was directed at me? 🙄 Don't live your life in anger. Why are you so hostile? It's actually quite easy to make a submission to apply for closed court testimony, I can even help you: "Your honor, the accused is an admitted member of [gang], which operates in [area]. I have an affidavit from Detective X of the LSPD gang enforcement unit, setting out the activities and operating areas of [gang]. Prosecution witness Y lives on [street] which as you can see from the Detective's affidavit is in the very heartland of [gang's] area of operation. The prosecution evidence I have filed for exhibit, namely Detective X's affidavit [insert any other evidence], also clearly establishes that [gang] has in the past used violence and intimidation in an effort to silence witnesses and prevent legal matters from proceeding in this jurisdiction. I also have filed an affidavit from prosecution witness Y [and any other witnesses] clearly articulating for this court that he/she has already in the lead up to this trial been the subject of [insert threats, attempts at intimidation, and actions engaged in by the gang if you have any]. I have also filed the recent injunction imposed against [gang] on motion by the DA's office, for the crimes of [insert justification for the granted injunction]. As you can plainly see, it is not above [gang] to attempt to threaten, intimidate and even violently attack prosecution witness Y. The request to close the court will not prohibit the accused from receiving a fair trial, but it will ensure the integrity of this court along with the safety of this witness." This stuff isn't rocket surgery. Oh, if people metagame, as you've claimed with zero evidence, that's reportable.
