  2. This thread will follow a character development of Anwar Muhammad. An Egyptian young adult that is passionate about getting into the money world, and starting his dream business. His dream is to become like his father a famous business man, and continue his father's steps. The development will not be focused in the legal side of the character, but will also be focused on the illegal side of the character, that will happen if the development lead him to that.
  3. Heyy guys, how are you. So for those of you that dont know me, I'm Izzy. So, I have been roleplaying with the ULSA faction now for a few months, and honestly, I have grown to love the concept of the roleplay, the vibe, and just the environment. All of the roleplayers there are friendly and very much so welcoming. With a combined love for ULSA, and baseball as a sport, I realized that something was missing. I figured, maybe I'd be the one to introduce (or reintroduce) the concept to the faction. So, I am well aware that a large population of the server is European and not many European players or individuals are big on baseball. I am fully aware that primarily American players are interested in baseball but it doesn't hurt to try. So essentially, I am seeking to find players that would be WILLING to be open to commit a character to both ULSA as a faction (because without ULSA, none of this would be possible), and commit a character to baseball oriented roleplay. Of course, everything else would just fall into place, however, these are the key conditions. I'm seeking open minded players that would be willing to accept change, and willing to provide CONSTRUCTIVE criticism to my idea. Everything of course is new, but with some work and a little help, and time, this can be possible. The Idea: Essentially, my idea is to bring roleplayers from all different kinds of backgrounds, players that would bring about their own spin to things, and players that are open minded to the ULSA faction to introduce (or reintroduce) a baseball club to the faction. Our rolepaly wouldn't just be entirely based around baseball, however, our goal is to provide quality roleplay based around the sport. Our season would essentially have to start with a few NPCs on our roster, or some unrealistic spins but this is where OPENMINDEDNESS would come into play and I hope that any changes that are made for the betterment of the sport would be accepted. Feel free to let me know what you guys think about this, I'll be here to chat!
  4. The University of San Andreas (ULSA) has recently established an Aviation Club, providing students with a unique opportunity to engage in aviation-related projects and pursue their passion for flight. With 11 dedicated members, the club is making strides towards offering affordable aviation options and training for students. Led by Melissa Briggs, an intern at the San Andreas Aviation Administration (SAAA), the club aims to broaden access to aviation and inspire future pilots. The Birth of ULSA Aviation Club The ULSA Aviation Club was founded on the 3rd of June, 2023, by Melissa Briggs, a student and an enthusiastic intern at SAAA. Melissa's vision for the club was to create an avenue for students to explore aviation in a more affordable way and receive training from an early stage. Recognizing the high costs associated with aviation, Melissa sought to break down barriers and provide accessible opportunities for aspiring pilots. ULSA Campus (2023) Melissa's Dream of Affordable Aviation Melissa Briggs is passionate about making aviation accessible to students who otherwise might not have the means to pursue it as a hobby or a potential career path. She aims to revolutionize the aviation industry by offering affordable options for young enthusiasts, enabling them to explore the skies and receive training at a fraction of the usual cost. The ULSA Aviation Club Projects Currently, the ULSA Aviation Club is actively involved in five projects, with one of them nearing completion – the Flexwing Microlight. The club boasts a diverse team comprising three engineering students, one programming student, a chemistry major, and SAAA Engineer Tony Carlton, who supervises the ongoing Microlight project. This collaboration highlights the interdisciplinary nature of the club and the enthusiasm of students from various backgrounds towards aviation. The Flexwing Microlight Project The Flexwing Microlight project, one of the club's main endeavors, is close to fruition. The aircraft is designed to be lightweight and cost-effective, making it an ideal choice for aspiring pilots on a budget. Under the guidance of Tony Carlton, the team has been meticulously working on constructing the Microlight, aiming to provide a safe and efficient aircraft for future club members and aviation enthusiasts. However, the project isn't finished yet, they are aiming to finish the Microlight within the next couple of weeks. There will be an announcement regarding this, as the Aviation Club will be organizing a public event at Sandy Airport. Melissa Briggs next to the "almost" finished Microlight. There are still a few minor adjustments that have to be done to the engine before it can be installed on the Microlight. ((The microlight was almost finished with the exception of an engine at the back, currently it had all the electrical and mechanical parts to allow it gliding capabilities but lacked thrust due to having no engine at all.)) A Vision for the Future Melissa Briggs envisions a future where the ULSA Aviation Club plays a vital role in training student pilots to assist park rangers or firefighting departments in preventing and combating forest fires. She hopes that in the years to come, student volunteers from ULSA will be flying air ambulances, further expanding the impact of the club's endeavors. Interview with Melissa Briggs Neo Trudgill: "Melissa, as you said, this could be useful for students volunteering to help the FD, but the microlight is a stunt plane, so is this even related to one and other?" Melissa Briggs: "Currently we are working on a Microlight and from where I am Microlights and paragliders are used by Texas Fire Department to observe forest areas for fires and emergencies. Since they can fly much lower than a helicopter or plane due to its compact design. " Neo Trudgill: "Is the FD informed about this project?" Melissa Briggs: "They are informed about both of our projects, however they do not currently offer a volunteer program for students, it's something I want to work on in the future. Yet, as you can tell, we are a bunch of students at the end of the day, and first we have to prove to the good folk of LS that we can accomplish this. It's why we want to make our first official flight a public event. " Neo Trudgill: "What measures will you implement to ensure the safety of participants and visitors involved in your project?" Melissa Briggs: "Currently we have a lot of safety measures in place. First checking everything by an engineer, SAAA helped us with that. So we'll have a certificate for it. Second, safety and training go hand in hand with each other. We'll have safety training before any students are allowed to fly the Microlight. Miss Kaneko does the medical checks on all of the students. Lastly we have all backing from SAAA meaning they actually help us when we decide to fly that means we can entirely close a runway, and have ground crews of us so we ensure the safety of all participants also we also have waivers everyone needs to sigh and then get checked by our medical team basically" Neo Trudgill: "Are there any regulatory or legal considerations you need to address for operating the "Microlight" plane for educational purposes? How do you plan to handle these aspects?" Melissa Briggs: "Well according to the United States aviation code, you do not need a pilot license to be able to fly a microlight. so by all means were going far and beyond to make sure we'll educate people. As I said each pilot will sign a waiver." Neo Trudgill: "What resources or support did you need to bring your project to fruition?" Melissa Briggs: "Well, I'll talk about both our projects if that alright. For both of our projects, we needed three things. We needed material, we needed supervision, and finally we needed a legal team. Materials in the legal team were covered by ULSA, microlight for example had to get its wing from a company. while the engine and chassis were made by students using recycled materials. for the training purposes, SAAA and Blaine Aviation were kind enough to help us with their facilities and their instructors." Neo Trudgill: "How do you plan to ensure the sustainability and long-term impact of your project? Are there any plans for continuation beyond the initial phase?" Melissa Briggs: "Oh surely, Ideally as i said we can use the microlight to do even more events, as i said, we'd like to help other folks like FD as volunteers. We want to keep our gorgeous SA safe. We also would like to build even more microlights, perhaps we can even build a sparrow. Or even a smaller microlight helicopter. We can even build a havoc as it is considered an Ultralight and there are kits we can use. Currently, we have three teams, we have builders who build the equipment, we have ground crew, who supports the pilots and builders and lastly our pilots, and we will have something to do with all these teams constantly. Here I'd like to mention that we are doing our best to keep our nature safe It was one of the reasons we wanted to use recycled materials. " Neo Trudgill: "So, you've had five projects in total. What are the names of all those projects?" Melissa Briggs: "Currently the other three projects needs to be talked with the team however essentially I really want to help students get their pilot licenses for this reason I have a fundraiser event around aviation in mind, and as I said we also want to get people in contact with the industry leaders. One of my dreams is to get in contact with people who work in the industry and start offering even more internships programs for students for that reason why we have our builders team, I want to host an event to showcase what we managed to build. Another project will be about hosting field trips and show our club members how airfields work whatever does, and how they can pursue to work at an airfield when the time comes." Neo Trudgill interviewing Melissa Briggs at the ULSA Campus' students lobby. The ULSA Aviation Club represents a pioneering initiative aimed at making aviation more accessible to students and inspiring a new generation of pilots. Under the leadership of Melissa Briggs and with the dedication of its members, the club is actively pursuing projects that offer affordable aviation options and practical training opportunities. As the club continues to grow and flourish, it has the potential to revolutionize the aviation industry, opening doors for aspiring pilots who dream of taking to the skies.
  5. Beavers were unfazed by the pressure as 4th quarter comeback gives ULSA 23-20 victory over the Washington Huskies. High stakes conference game was worth the hype. With a first place in the conference on the line, division rivals put on a show for the fans in a fierce duel, where Beavers managed to steal victory from the Huskies. Beavers' defense had to face difficulties while dealing with the Huskies' balanced pass and run offense. Although Beavers gave up plenty of first downs, they showed up when it mattered the most, forcing 3 sacks and 2 crucial interceptions late in the second half. Pass rusher Cheyvon Gordon collected 10 tackles and a huge highlight play of the game as he sacked down the Huskies' quarterback. Freshman safety Christian Petrucelli was everywhere on the field, forced to play big minutes against the Huskies' primary receivers. Petrucelli was yet again heavily targeted, but managed to finish his game with 7 tackles and 3 passes defended. ULSA's quarterback Colton Cooper was consistent with his accuracy, keeping Washington's defense on their toes throughout the game. Javier Lerida had another strong performance, collecting 75 yards and 1 touchdown on 7 catches. Brayden Manning put up 68 yards on 7 catches, while Amari Hinton showed up with 62 yards and 6 catches. However, it was Beavers' depth receiver Ladorian Nichols who turned the game around in the 4th quarter, putting up 87 yards and a redzone touchdown to end the game and secure victory for the Beavers. "We left it all out there tonight. Back to back games at home against our biggest rivals and we got the job done" said ULSA's leading pass rusher. "It's midseason and we're looking good on the field. We want that championship title, best believe that. And I know you saw that highlight too, that's what we're on. It's like that now." Safety Christian Petrucelli was happy with his performance despite being pressured by the Huskies' offense. "I knew I was going to be targeted a lot on defense as a freshman. I don't mind pressure and I'm always ready to prove the opponents wrong" said the freshman, who's been playing big role in the Beavers' defense. "Keep targeting me and see how I do. It’s just more stats for me. We're on a playoff run and I’m here to stay. Our defense has been working hard and we're proving why we’re one of the best in the nation." 6. Second half comeback secures the 31-14 victory for ULSA, Beavers claim the top spot in the conference. Sun Devils (5-2) got off to a quick 14-0 start before ULSA (5-2) closed the cap with a touchdown and field goal. Second half changed the game as Beavers' defense took over and forced 6 turnovers, holding ASU scoreless. 2 sacks by the NCAA's leading pass rusher Cheyvon Gordon and interception returned for a touchdown by freshman safety Christian Petrucelli were more than enough to set up ULSA's offense for a takeover, scoring 21 unanswered points and effectively ending ASU's 5-game winning streak. ULSA's quarterback Colton Cooper was under pressure, getting sacked 5 times by ASU's defense, but did well to limit his turnovers and keep the ball moving. Amari Hinton was the leading receiver, catching the ball 8 times for 72 yards and a redzone touchdown. Javier Lerida's 68 receiving yards marked a new career high for the freshman receiver, who caught the ball 6 times. Safety Christian Petrucelli was thrilled with his career first interception and pick six. "I worked hard for it and took the chance when I saw the QB scrambling. I saw the opportunity and I took it home for the touchdown. We still got more work to do this season, it’s time to hit the lab now." 7. ULSA: Announces Initiatives, Q&A with Chancellor Dr. Charlotte Dunois Written by Scarlett Remington, April 10 2023 (pictured: ULSA Building Entrance, among many buildings on campus) The University of Los Santos San Andreas is the number one public university in the entire Country. Renowned for their extensive list of curriculums, a strong faculty team, and providing students from all areas of the country a safe, reliable, and thriving place to gain a proper education. The ULSA is led by not only the Office of the Chancellor but comprised of: Student Affairs, Human Resources, Strategic Communication, Legal Affairs, and Security, with oversight headed by Chancellor, Dr. Charlotte Dunois, who has been at the helm just over a month now. Throughout her experience she (along with her faculty) have pushed for educational reform, investing in the facility and students, and striving to maintain a safe atmosphere for students, staff, and visitors. Their most recent topic of interest is the implementation of their Administrative Procedure Policies System (APPs), which gives the public access University's administrative policies and procedures in line with the transparency initiatives proposed by the Office of the Chancellor - taking effect on April 15th, 2023. On top of their APPs system the Chancellor's Office has made a list of new initiatives and mission goals to provide to students, staff, and the general public to show they are committed to proving academic prosperity, community presence, transparency, and maintaining a heavy investment in the safety & security of the campus. (pictured: Document released by The Office of the Chancellor) "Academic Prosperity promises to ensure everyone has an equal and fair opportunity to study in a field they prefer. They are assured follow-up and resources throughout their education path. Upholding the promise of academic freedom and creating pathways to quicky gather funding, conduct research, and teach in an unrestricted environment" "Community Presence promises the ULSA community and citizens of Los Santos that ULSA is part of the more expansive city and state - and dedicates itself to honoring its mission statement of Education, Research, and service. ULSA continues to invest in the city, providing valuable research data for all inhabitants to use for the city's betterment..." "... One of the manners ULSA hopes to achieve this is through transparency, more commonly known as the information and resources initative. The information and resources initative provde all forms of information, such as university policy, procedures, and internal regulations, are public shared easily and conveniently for all individuals to find, read, and understand." "Safety & Security is the final initiative.. here the Chancellor promises to ensure the safety of all ULSA Community members by heavily investing in proper equipment, training, and resources for the ULSA Campus Security. With the direct advice of the Director of Security.. In addition, ULSA invests heavily in forming and maintaining positive communication bridges with various law enforcement agencies." (pictured: ULSA Security Officer Miller, posing for a photo while on duty securing the campus) Q&A WITH CHANCELLOR CHARLOTTE DUNOIS (pictured: Chancellor, Dr. Charlotte Dunois) Q1 (Remington): "What is your absolute goal as Chancellor, along with the Office of the Chancellor: what makes your University so unique? Considering you're the #1 publicly funded University in the State, is there anything you take pride in that most do not?" A1 (Dunois): " Good question. My goal will be to publicly establish the Chancellor's identity and honor its bestowed duty despite having served under five individual Chancellors in my career. There has never been a consistent identity for the Chancellor. Most don't even know what the Chancellor does outside of the obvious. I seek to change that and incorporate my decade-long experience with the Office of Student Affairs into the Office of the Chancellor. To answer the second part of your question. What makes ULSA unique is its diversity and focus on providing a balanced experience between extracurricular activities, academics, and community. I have personally dubbed it "a complete college experience." The University is about exploring yourself, your interests, and what you want to become. It is about investing in the future you'd be proud of, and lastly, it is about connecting with your fellows to get to know the people you will most likely work with in the coming generation. ULSA invests in all those key points equally, which makes us unique." Q2 (Remington): "Community is a strong topic within Los Santos, especially with the ULSA. Being in a leadership role for our future young minds, what is something you can guarantee from the Office of the Chancellor that gives motivation to our youth, teenagers, and current attended students at the ULSA?" A2 (Dunois): "I can guarantee that ULSA has a place for you regardless of who or where you come from. If you have the will to succeed and the spirit of building. ULSA will firmly stand behind you and support your endeavors. This approach is why I believe our animal mascot is very appropriate. Beavers are our natural builders. They use their engineering prowess to build and establish our nature's ecosystem, which benefits many more than just the beavers. The students at ULSA are our future. They are the ones who will build after us, establish the social ecosystem and maintain it after us, hence why ULSA has an enormous responsibility to our students." Q3 (Remington): "Security and Safety is a top priority for the ULSA. What do you think of your progress so far, and what may be some areas you think need to be improved with the help of the Government, and the local community, to ensure our students remain safe and secured?" A3 (Dunois): I'll be honest and give credit where credit is due. My work with security thus far has been more in the realm of maintaining what was already established, thanks to the fantastic work of our previous Chancellor, Nikos Karagiorgis. My contribution has been primarily on dedicating funds for equipment and vehicles. We just commissioned two Declasse Alamos to cover mountain terrain. Students often go on camping trips, and security does accompany them when they can. As far as areas I'd like to see improved. Our security could clearly do with some additional provisions in their authority to enforce university regulations. The university zoning act has been an immense help in establishing and allowing our security to finally flourish. However, getting the success rate for enforcement has been, in my opinion, below the expected levels. I hope the HELP committee in the Senate sees this and works towards improving and furthering our security's ability to protect our community members from bad-faith individuals. In the meantime, however, working with Law Enforcement Agencies has been bliss, and our relationships are healthy. 8. ULSA Beavers continue to top PAC-12 Conference after Victory! Written by Kate Park, April 2 2023 Published by Scarlett Remington, April 2 2023 The ULSA Basketball team the Beavers returned to the court following several weeks rest to face the B-CU Wildcats. The Beavers appeared to meet there match in the PAC-1 conference, but ultimately came on top with a 77-72 victory. Notably this week saw the return of Beavers Captain Abbas Hamada who has been out following injury to his ankle. Pictured: ULSA Beavers Captain Abbas Hamada The Beavers were on the backfoot during the 1st half with the Wildcats dominating the home-side. Hamada entered within the 9th minute of the 1st half of his comeback receiving a huge applause and cheers. It was evident that the rising stars injury had hindered his playing ability and overall confidence. That said his contribution saw him adding 11 points with 6 assists with the 1st half ending with the Wildcats in front at 25-36. A reset at half-time saw the Beavers return to the court with grit and determination. Franco Pelosi displayed a masterclass performance in his role, adding 11 points, 6 assists as well as 2 rebounds, and 4 steals whilst on the field. This ultimately saw Pelosi being awarded the MVP for the game for his contribution in the comeback against the Wildcats. The win puts the Beavers at the top of the PAC-12 conference with a current unbeaten streak of 8-0. Leon Engel - Did not play - Rib injury (Out for 6 weeks) In a post-game interview Abbas Hamada commented on the game, and what he thinks of the future for the team. Abbas Hamada: "Likewise— What. A. Night, exactly. First game after the break, we didn't know what to expect from the opposing team— What's next? We go on...We move forward like always, looking for another dub and that's what we do. This is a strong league as you just saw. Our next game is against the Idaho Vandals— They're a good team, we don't underestimate anybody. We need to improve our game no matter what, tight lead or a blow out .We always look to improve, today for example: Our defence, that's our weakest aspect of the game and you saw— First half didn't look well for us but, we bounced back, half time talk got to us and we never give up, that's the Beavers mentality." Hamada then went on to comment on his own role within the team following a lengthy period away with injury. "I have been away for some time— Last game for me was against another/Wildcats team, against Arizona. It was our most important game yet and I unfortunately got injured but— All that matters is we got the win, I was bummed. Of course, because I was really looking' forward to that game, we're talking' about a /national TV/ game...in front of millions of people, you wanna show up and do great y'know? But this is a team game, we got the win there and that's what matters. I "sprained" my ankle according to some doctors in the first two minutes of the game but— Time went on and they discovered it was a "Stress fracture" so that set me out for even longer, thankfully it was all before the season break." The team go on to face Idaho Vandals at home on the ULSA Campus. Tickets are available via the website at ulsa.us.
  9. This thread will follow the character development of Andrew Rowlands, who started to take the masters in law in ULSA. Besides, this thread may have a continuity in another thread in the future.
  10. Elyas Bakker (Don't get turned off by this lame ass meme I'm actually gonna show RP, thanks bro) Growing up in a low income neighborhood Elyas has gone through some stuff. Seen his mother lose her life due to heroin addiction, seeing his brother grow addicted as well as he got older. Soon he got into trouble himself, started hanging with the wrong crowds. However, then Elyas found an outlet, it was music. He kept himself inside, only leaving for school, spending days and nights working on his craft. Slowly getting into the culture, he got obsessed with streetwear, black culture, some may say Elyas acts like a wannabe gangster.. they're not lying, he kinda is. Elyas is easily insulted and may become stubborn due to that. Is obsessed with being the 'cool guy', therefore may not be himself at all times. Loves to be the party animal. See, with Elyas.. it's difficult. He goes through ups and downs. He constantly gets himself into self development, involves good habits in his life, cold showers, meditation, being on schedule, not drinking, but then a party comes and then he crashes again for some time. Same goes with a lot in his life, including studying, he can really peak and do extremely well, but then crash. Bakker is obsessed with his room being clean and tidy, he does that, since stuff being all around and everything being messy reminds him of his residence in the Netherlands, which doesnt involve good memories at all. Elyas's main goal is to make it in the rap industry/grow a business, move his father and brother out to LS, forget about everything else and live the american dream. 11. Mother-F'ing Reserved™ A small something about this project; I've never done a "development" thread before so please don't kill me. Back when I started playing GTAW I came across a thread of a soccer player's development, it included some bits simulated in fifa and I liked the idea of bringing more lore to the server in this way but never had the motivation to provide some myself. That has changed though, I've been playing around with the idea of making something possible with baseball because it's a sport I'm personally interested in and it IS quite big in North America after all, and I've fond a way to put something together and have chosen to go with college ball at no other place than our very own university. Let's see how this goes. Have some sneak peek at what I'm working on:
  12. This is the story of Desmond Brown, a 28 year old Jamaican immigrant living in Rancho, where he struggles to pay for a late University degree in Nursing at ULSA while trying to stay positive and strong, as he does his best to make a small difference in a wicked, struggling community.

    Deon DeFeo

Deon "Cronus" De Feo Height/Weight: 6'5'' / 120kg Body reference: JJ Watt (Click) Amateur Record: 7-0-0 (Boxing) Deon De Feo was born on the 12th of June 1999 at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, MI. His parents, Rita and Angelo De Feo where both second generation Italian-Americans, his father's brother was a well-respected mademan in the Detroit Partnership and himself was an accountant. Deon is oblivious to whether or not his father was involved with the mob, however was normalized to the mob life as a child; the chances are his father was a part of the mob. The De Feo family was a wealthy family, two generations of mobsters either dead or in jail did have it's benefits. Deon grew up financially stable and happy, in school he was on the honour roll for multiple years and graduated high school with a 4.73 GPA. By the age of 15 Deon was 6'0'' and weighed 75kg, he was quickly recruited onto his high school football team as a linebacker but as he trained with his team and in the gym he eventually transferred to tight end, this was around the same time he began boxing at his father's cousins gym in Metro Detroit. By 17 Deon was the high school star, he was 6'2'' and weighed 88kg of majority muscle, he was gaining a lot of attention from college football scouts however deep down always preferred boxing. After graduation, when it came time to pick a college, he freaked out and decided not to go to and instead try and further his boxing career, much at the disappointment of his family. He continued to fight amateur boxing and by the time he was 18.5 years old he had an amateur record of 5-0, after coming to a realization whilst watching the UFC he started attending an MMA gym as well as boxing, he started to train kickboxing, capoeira and BJJ and within two years was statistically the best in each of his individual classes. Deon moved to Los Santos and enrolled at ULSA where he majors in history, around this time he also met Richard Balistrieri who saw promise in him as a fighter and began to train him; also giving him a personal job. Today, Deon is fighting under Sweathouse and aims at being the biggest name at Bellicose. He has big plans for the future, however regardless his future is destined for success should things continue the way they have gone for him his entire life. Deon grew through naivety at a very young age, despite protection from his family he was seen as a target due to the importance of both his father and his uncle. This is a major factor in Deon's mentality, mixed with egotism and pride Deon tends to think he is the Titan he humbly named himself after; Cronus. Cronus was a fearless Greek titan, son of Uranus and Gaia the mother and father of the earth and sky. Cronus saw his vulnerabilities at a young age and so castrated his father and thus creating mankind. He claimed the universe and became king of the gods through deception and force, and when his godly children where born he ate each individual one despite Zeus, who was hidden from Cronus by Rhea, his sister and consort. Eventually, Zeus returned and defeated Cronus, claiming the seat for himself. In some mythology Cronus is considered the father of snakes, Deon sees himself as a two-faced snake just as much as he sees himself as a Titan, and worryingly draws a significant amount of mental power from his constructs.
  14. Brock Palmer is a 19 year old male from Denver, Colorado. He grew up as the eldest child in a family of 4, he was the only boy. His father Henry made his fortunes by owning several oil rigs and an oil mining company - and as such, Brock grew up extremely well off compared to other folks. He has a trust fund with roughly $95,000 dollars and has always enjoyed the luxurious things in life. When Brock failed his final year of high school, his parents made a generous donation to his school and as a result, a single grade on one of his exams was changed, allowing him to graduate and attend the University of Denver. At the university, he fell in with the other rich preppy kids, and he joined the Phi Kappa Sigma Delta Alpha chapter of the university. During his freshman year, he rose through the ranks quickly and ended up on the chapter’s executive council, as the sergeant-at-arms of the frat. After only his first year, his father abruptly divorced his wife, taking him and Brock to the city of Los Santos, where he now resides. Brock is a preppy frat boy, and plans on joining the Phi Kappa Sigma Alpha Chapter of ULSA, via direct fraternity position transfer. PERSONALITY Brock is intelligent socially, and is a charming and witty individual, however, easily insulted. He’s calculating, often considering his actions carefully and the potential outcomes of them. However, behind closed doors he can be downright nasty to people who don’t like him, and uses his charm to manipulate the people around him to get an advantage - a trait which he picked up from his father. Brock is bound to be easily influenced by such things as alcohol and drugs, making it easy for him to fall in addiction. Due to his addictive personality, he already struggles with gambling addiction.
  15. Nayeli Grey Feather Oops! When she was born, Nayeli was named "Gray Feather" for her grandfather, Gray Eagle. The nurse, an Irish woman who helped Nayeli's very young parents complete her birth registration, mistakenly wrote in the British-English spelling of "grey". iná At age two, her father - a Navy Corpsman - was killed in the battle of Ramadi, in Iraq. Nayeli's mother (iná), already affected by schizophrenia, moved back to the Pine Ridge Reservation, South Dakota. She began drinking heavily. As the psychiatric condition deteriorated, Nayeli and her mother were shunned. A few days before her fourth birthday, Nayeli's mother died of complications arising from liver disease. Nayeli and her mother were found a week later by Gray Eagle. Nayeli was huddled close to her mother's body, still holding her hand. Nayeli has only one old photograph of her mother; showing her shawl-dancing. It's the one thing Nayeli would never give up. Learning Gray Eagle took her from the reservation and for eight years they travelled together in his RV, moving from ranch to ranch. Nayeli did manual work, as well as tracking and trapping with her grandfather. She never started school until she was 12 years old and the Bureau of Indian Affairs threatened to have her removed from Gray Eagle's care. Although she had already learned to speak Lakota, now she was home schooled by Gray Eagle, including finally learning English. Gray Eagle Nayeli both loves and dislikes her grandfather. Gray Eagle is a veteran of the Korean war and an ex-Marine; he is very strict with Nayeli. He believes she should be with a Lakota man, and is unashamed in his belief that the Sioux People are culturally and racially superior. He distrusts wašíču (white men) and loathes hašapa (African Americans), who he believes are all gangbangers. He calls them all "Snoop Dog". Nayeli fights with him constantly about his racism, and she does not want to be with a Lakota man. She distrusts Lakota for ostracizing and leaving her to die. Strengths Flaws ❂ Tenacious ❂ Distrusting ❂ Loves to learn ❂ Painfully shy ❂ Loyal to her friends ❂ Fascinated by death ❂ Self-reliant ❂ Loves animals ((This is my first attempt at a character story, and I know I've already missed some of N's development. I don't have much experience, so please be patient as I work it all out. Thanks so much for reading ❤️ - JM))
