I had a character that after some IC drama left for Palito without a car. And I wanted to see what RP connections I could get by being up there. Well, I ended up walking on foot from Palito to Sandy Shores without seeing a single human being. I saw a Park Ranger vehicle in the distance drive around but that's it. I then stayed there for another 3 IRL days logging on the character here and there to see what I could end up in but honestly.. After a while I just went back to LS and instantly got into multiple various RP situations. I think in my 4 IRL days of being in the county I saw SAPR patrol numerous times, I saw 3 bikers drive past once and I met one guy who was on his way to LS for work. Then again I am not the best at finding RP or anything but this is just my experience. Edit: Idk if this is even something to put on this thread but I read about LS being the main focus so I just wanted to add my experience of going outside LS for a bit.

+1, I always hop onto the test server for this but sometimes it's hard to find the proper vehicle ID to actually test it, especially if it was modded. Remember It took me a while to realize the ZX-380 was called ZX380s when spawning it.

Even Garry's Mod solved this in like 2012 or whatnot, it would make RP at home more enjoyable when it's just vibing. Or... Netflix n chill.

From what I know there are already changes being worked on or already added to change recoil and such so full auto/ Rapid semi auto fire will make it difficult to hit the target

Detailed Description A /sp command for motorcycles so you can do for example /sp 45 to limit the speed to 45mph Relevant Commands/Items /sp but for motorcycles How will it benefit the server? It's already for cars, I don't know why it's not for motorcycles. Maybe because it's not seen as realistic or what but it makes driving legally really annoying. Having to spam W like a maniac to keep a fluent speed. As example with my motorcycle the Nagasaki Shinobi, I can barely click W before already breaching the traffic law. I don't see why having /sp on motorcycles would be such a big deal. Would just make it easier to actually drive around legally without murdering the W button or investing in a controller. PS: I searched for this on the forums, didn't find a thread. Sorry if it's requested already.

Then focus on the family life, or focus the time spent on development on something that doesn't make people black screen lol. The server has a test server doesn't it? Besides, not like there's an company like EA behind the scenes putting schedules on things for when it should be done and implemented. So stress shouldn't really be a factor as if it takes him a year to implement an intro then so be it

Not sure if this is posted before but I noticed that the custom HUD covers the minimap when I use my 1440p UW monitor at 3440 x 1440, and after asking in /helpme, there doesn't seem to be a way to fix it except to simply play at a lower resolution. https://prnt.sc/zrgexh

I am having the same issue as @Unhallow while modding things like the Audio. Everything else seems to generally work.

I get what you are saying, and it is a possibility. But with how player jobs are currently paid, i fail to see how it would be profitable. I want to RP as a pilot, but it doesn't make sense either ICly or OOCly why my character would go through so much effort, and not even earn back the investment in any reasonable amount of time.

Scripted Pilot Job When i applied for whitelist on the server, i made the backstory of my first character to be an former military pilot. Since then, i've wanted that character to be a pilot. Flying commercial is what i had in mind. I now have about 180 hours in the character and not even close to the license itself or a plane at any rate. I spend most of my time fishing/mining and some RP jobs on the side, but most of them really don't pay all that well. Unless you get lucky. I've gotten to the point where i realized, if i do get a license and an aircraft.. It's gonna potentially take a big unreasonable amount of time to earn some profit of all the investment when all i have to rely on is Player jobs and none scripted jobs like ex fishing. Examples for what this job would be, is: Fly aluminium from Sandy to LS airfield, Copper, etc. Fly food rations from LS to Sandy Shores. Fuel, commercial goods and others. Pilot Academy A Pilot Academy would be great to make sure people who have a character that really want to be a pilot can fly, instead of letting everyone fly around. If for example an scripted pilot job were to be added. This would help against the potential problem of having half the server in the air flying back and forth. The Pilot Academy could have an fee of 20,000$ or something. I haven't done the math of any good price so this is just an example. But after finishing the Academy, you would be either getting a discount of aircraft/license or perhaps get the license for free. This could help against the fact of how long it takes to be able to get a license/aircraft. Academy would also make a good "requirement" to be a legal pilot like it is for the PD. Reduced License And Aircraft Costs This is just a very basic suggestion to make people like myself not spend 200 hours and more just to be able to RP as a pilot. Although other things should be implemented to reduce the amount of people walking around as a pilot. Making The Piloting More RP Focused I've been playing on a transport tycoon server on fivem where if you are a pilot, you need to use some text commands to radio in if you're landing, taking off and what airfield. RP'ing this would reduce the amount of -minge- or -non rp- flying and keep it more professional. Landing without informing or get authorization would be illegal and could make the emergency services take action upon your landing. In the attachments to this post, you can see an example of how it works on that server. And perhaps people who wanna RP pilots could do something familiar. Perhaps an United airport frequency where all pilots must be on -assuming their legal- Reason For Suggestion The reason is simply the fact that i've spent so long wanting to just RP as a pilot, either legal or not. But the amount of hours put into it and still not being able to do so is just exhausting. You could join the PD, that requires an application, academy and so on. But it doesn't really take that long. And definetly not 200 hours. Of course some people are probably way better than me and knows how to get those $$$ Faster. But sadly i don't, i don't want everyone to be able to fly around. And i accept if there are requirements. But spending 200+ hours is just.. Not motivational and the fact that, you won't really make any profit out of it unless you are extremely lucky with who you find IC. I accept arguments and different suggestions to improve this, these are just some ideas and opinions i had and you are free to criticize it.
