  1. Exactly that. People always refer to IRL whenever it plays out in their favor, but come up with the argument that the game shouldn't be treated like IRL if it goes against their will. It's funny to see people's mind change in that regard. Anyways, like stated by others most are struggling to properly role-play a character living in Los Angeles / Los Santos (or Americans in general) as they simply don't know how it is to live there. You have your European white dudes acting like they're Crips/Bloods IRL who googled the gangs and watched a few Youtube videos, the people who have "lived in LS their entire life" but have bad grammar and portrayal, then the rest who are just in for the quick money so they can drive the most expensive car there is while they can only afford one day of insurance for it. It's a game down the line and people have to realize that, the server has it's own lore/continuity, most factions and businesses are as realistic to LA standards as possible but having a 1:1 IRL clone wouldn't work out in the end. Down the line it's up to us what we want to RP, be it a neo-nazi, a overly wealthy person, a homeless dude, or a Davis gangbanger, we do have the options to play as whatever we want here, something we might never be able to experience IRL, this includes good and bad things. But even bad things can lead up to great character development and I'm sometimes glad bad things happen to my character cause I get to figure out what to do next, how to make my char learn from this experience etc etc. There's always the staff team and/or other players you could reach out to for questions or possible guidance if something rubbed you the wrong way. We've all been there and there's no shame in seeking help or talk to others about things that bother you (like this thread now for example). We all play on the server to take some time off of real life, come home after a hard day of work, and just wanna sit back and RP with our friends, that's all there is.
  2. I'd already be happy if I could give only several people construction perms in my business, like a /giveconstructionrights. I don't really like having them enabled all the time as a new hire could just do whatever while no one is online.
  3. I don't think disabling / hiding that menu in general would be a bad idea. How's a new player supposed to know what the heck is going on? And even if the menu shows after a few seconds, what's the point of hiding it then? The left click issue happened to me once yesterday and I was playing around with anims all day. All I had to do was to /as and re-anim and the menu worked again. Some people however complained about shift and ctrl not working for them, would be great if it could be fixed for them. Giving them maybe the option to rebind some of the keys would probably help, if that's even possible.
  4. This definitely can't hurt. +1 Put the option into /settings and let players rebind the engine start/stop key if they'd like.
  5. L&A as the majority of the comments are against this, and we already have an option for these who prefer to play without nametags: To add: An /alias command would be pretty nice for people only using nicknames, feel free to open another game suggestion thread for that if you want.
  6. I'd rather say make the dogs an option for donators, rather than having to pay again. Each time you donate and get platinum donator you could pick between a dog or a cat. Alternatively dogs could be made cheaper as it's the same price as gold donator, and I'd rather go with that, than for a pet that I forget to spawn most days. As someone who's had platinum for ages now I must say that I'd have more use for a dog than a cat, especially as my main character was supposed to have a dog but as stated above...I can't really role-play something that isn't there and eventually I gave up on it. Anyways, +1 on this one I suppose. I just want a dog. 😒
  7. Fully agree, it's a pain to move items back and forth. About motels a blacklist would be nice, and some kinda "auto cleanup" would be great, people set up these kits all over the place and forget about them. If a kit hasn't been used for..let's say 1-2 weeks by it's owner it could just get wiped. Few months ago I found one floating in the middle of the ocean, guessing someone tried brewing on their boat, for example. And let's not talk about the random brewing kits in people's yards sometimes.
  8. As far as I remember /immersive hides nametags too, so if they bother you that much you can use that. Forcing it onto every player isn't really it. -1
  9. Sure, it was added for phones so it can also be added for radios. +1
  10. -1 It's already less than an actual flight would take, along with your character needing some rest after each meeting and flight four hours are literally nothing.
  11. Detailed Description You're working on these small trims in that corner and all of the sudden the property decides to auto reload, you get stuck or anything happens that you gotta exit the /fur menu - hence losing the object you just edited. Now you spend like 20mins finding that one trim in the list while picking all the others first before you can continue placing it correctly. This is where the "Edit last Object" option would come in, it saves the last moved object in your furniture list so you can quickly access it instead of.. (like explained above) picking 50 other objects with the same name while trying to fix that one object. Depends if it's possible but it could save up to more than just one objects. Relevant Commands/Items none How will it benefit the server? QoL
  12. Every phone setting should stay on the phone itself, makes it easier to use and no one wants to remember 100 phone commands down the line. And it's less overwhelming for new players.
