This was discussed multiple times in the last two months, I have seen the same suggestions a lot. It's not made up out of nowhere, there would be no reason to keep it if there was no benefit.

It's not like we're giving them a g wagon, it's most commonly a blista. However, I partly agree with the suggestion, though such thing should be enforced only if there are busses or taxi's around. It might also take a long time before a bus arrives for example, which in some cases would demotivate new players as they won't be even sure if there is something coming for them and they wouldn't exactly know how to navigate themselves around. I'm neutral for now.
