  1. Hi! Great guide, most of it is on point. However, this part is off. They celebrate Christmas like everyone else. Most of the festivities, Catholic mass, and family parties happen on Christmas Eve. They call it Noche Buena, the 'good night'. It's generally the same holiday. Roast pork & LOTS OF FOOD. January 6th, the Dia de los Reyes, is a separate holiday for the children. More gifts!

    Making selfies.

Yeah! totally possible to do it in game. Singleplayer w/ the Menyoo mod & Rockstar editor is honestly the best option, but you can do it in-game, with a friend or solo. Just make sure you or your friend are running graphics on high if you want a good one, maybe even 4k resolution so you have more room to edit. Then, get them to stare at you in first person & move around for a good angle, or they can use the in-game camera item (so that their shadow doesn't end up all over you..) You can hold down B to point, move it around and have them tell you where to point so that it looks like you're realistically holding your phone out. If you're solo, pointing doesn't really work, but /anim takepic can sort of work. You can get up close to a wall, tree, whatever works to force the camera to stay close to your face. Then spam screenshots to try to catch the moment your character looks at the camera.

    Remove /vpark

It was removed for a while to test how things would work out. I assume it was reintroduced because a lot of the issues remained. For example, trying to /vget or retrieve a car that'd been parked in a garage or left in one was still incredibly buggy (creating an unusable copy of the car, spawning it in the wrong dimension, etc.) Vehicles left outside were almost constantly stolen. There was even a point where they allowed /vpark only if the vehicle was empty, it seemed like a decent middle ground. That was removed too I believe, so you can despawn cars anywhere again. I'm assuming there's just too much desync, garage bugs, & vehicle bugs to remove /vpark yet.

  6. I'm against the removal of the entrance fees. If new people wander around and accidentally pay the entrance fee to walk into an unlocked (but closed) business, it's usually a one-time mistake and I don't think anyone would abuse this on purpose. If a business hasn't put an ad out in any of the text that you can scroll through, has no people actively walking in/out, and is not actively marked with a blip, it's probably not open. Entrance fees are currently the only viable way to make money off certain businesses that would otherwise be a pain in the ass to manage. Hell, they make it possible to even break even with the costs put down for the building, staffing, stocking drinks, & advertising. For example, with bars, the entrance fee+bonus money is just about the only way to pay any bartenders/security you hire, and maybe cover one or two of the drinks given per person. People have mentioned that sometimes the company owner has to go out and grind script jobs to be able to pay their staff anyway because the bonus isn't enough and any drink fees still won't cover it - I personally haven't run into this problem, but it's happened to some.
  7. I'm against this.. It sounds nice, it has a lot of time and detail put into it. It's a solid suggestion, but it would it make vehicles more complicated than they should be. It adds a level of realism that only makes things more tedious than fun. Not to mention, sometimes in the middle of the night when the player count drops to (or below) 20, it's pretty hard to find a mechanic on duty who's working at an open garage for more than 10 minutes. That being said, the map is big, but it's not big enough to need constant service. A vehicle wouldn't be worn down from driving a measly 50-300 miles, either. Even 3,000 miles would only warrant an oil change - maybe. Most cars can go 6,000 on full synthetic, if we're going for realism. I get that everything is scaled down so that you'd actually need service from the 10-20 minutes you might drive in game every day, but it'd be a hard balancing act. Going to a mechanic to rp getting an oil change or tune-up should be optional, so you never get forced into going to whichever shop opens first, to have your car serviced before it breaks down and turns into a potato.
  8. Just to add on the possible additional perks.. I'd pour more money into outfit slots. I can't imagine how difficult or easy it might be to add more outfit slots, but take all my money. Need more outfit slots to be indecisive about. +1 for adding the pet option to gold.

  12. There's another way to do this, without opening up the front page. Just click on the timestamp of its last post. IE: Clicking on the "8 hrs ago" thing, takes you to the last page, last post.
  13. I thought the crash zones were fixed in Rage? I know they were a much bigger issue in GTMP but haven't crashed once due to the tunnels on Rage. It should definitely be on a case by case basis, though. Trucks, off-roads, and SUVs will survive it. Motorcycles can also easily navigate the area just outside the physical track. A lowered sports car with a bodykit will break a few things on the way. If anything, the same rules as off-roading could apply to the tunnels/tracks..
  14. Didn't know this was a feature either, wasn't listed anywhere. Excited to use it now instead of playing 'find the house that matches the address' though.. Definitely overpriced. It should be a one-time purchase (not vehicle-specific) since it'd be something you'd have on your phone, anyway.

Okay. That clears this whole thing up. The appearance of it confused a few people and we thought it might have been related. This can be archived, specially to avoid confusion. It was actually a case of assuming the worst. ?

I know.. that’s the only reason I posted this, maybe the options on it can be expanded before it’s put in. Or maybe the current system can be reskinned. A lot of players who participated in a different server’s beta got to see that exact menu and it’s very limited. Just hoping this points out the shortcomings of it before it’s a permanent thing.
