Short description: I've seen people put custom rims on their vehicles and they all have low profile tires, meaning very thin tires, which in most cases, certain types of vehicles, such as a muscle car, would have thicker tires to facilitate the extra torque and the burnouts they have, and drift cars, or tuners, would have less traction and more rubber in order to prevent the tires burning out so quickly. Detailed description: I've noticed that everyone and their mothers have thin tires, unless they choose to use stock rims, which isn't very realistic, especially on some vehicles like muscle cars, or the more drift type cars such as the Futo. To facilitate having more rubber so you don't burn through your tire and end up with cracked or buckled rims for your vehicles, you'd choose to have more rubber and thinner rims. So, I have come up with the idea (and I have heard people talking about this in the past as well, it's not just myself) to add a categorization to the different tires within the mechanic shop menu, so rather than having it numbered with the same rims, you have to choose to go for "Muscle" rims for instance, as you would within GTA:Online or GTA V's base game, meaning more variety on rims, as well as having off-road tires for the vehicle that would have them and not just the same set of rims on everyone vehicle. It would also be nice to have colored rims as well, but that may just be pushing it, and some people argue that would be tacky, but done right and colored rims look very nice, however I would make another suggestion form for that in itself. Commands to add: None, it would be to add tabs onto the mechanic wheels menu. Items to add: Other rims and tires from GTA:O and possibly, in the future, modded ones as well. How would your suggestion improve the server? It would add variety to peoples vehicles, and if someone has a Sultan that they bought specifically for off-roading they would be able to put off-road rims onto it in order to avoid confusion between the fact that it can or can't go off-roading. And for the larger trucks that are more often used for such an act, you could have a different set of rims for them, and rather have the tiny pieces of rubber that would snap like a guitar string on the slightest of sharp edges. Short description: Implement a cool down period when a player is changing clothes to prevent the rapid changing of outfits. Detailed description: As the system currently sits players can freely change clothes on the fly simply by entering a property or going to the rear of an unlocked vehicle. When a player changes an outfit and confirms it the character should be immobilize for a set amount of time (10 seconds) to simulate the player taking off his/her clothes and changing them. This will reduce the amount of people rapidly changing outfits in an unrealistic manor. Commands to add: none Items to add: none How would your suggestion improve the server? This is one method to reduce the quick changing of outfits as many players do not properly RP this interaction. Additional information: I believe this should also apply to the police/swat with a longer cool down as they switch to tactical/swat gear. I've personally seen an officer disappear around a corner of a neighborhood to only re-appear with a completely different outfit or lack of uniform in mire minutes.

Exclusive interview: behind the whistleblower social bot As the best, most reliable and less dubious source of information in Los Santos, Paints News managed to obtain an exclusive interview with the (anonymous) programmer who made the infamous Whistleblower social bot happen. For practical purposes, we will call that person Wilson. First of all, how did this social bot come to be? Wilson (W): Well, at first I needed a simple project to finish my freshman year in computer science, and I thought a bot would be nice. With AI being so trendy, why not? So I made something simple, pulling random strings of sentences from a few separate columns, to create random insulting facts about the other pupils. PN: How successful was it? W: Well, I found it extremely tame and boring, it wasn't very original or funny. After all, it's a bot. But to my amazement, everyone loved it and couldn't stop laughing, a teacher even had milk come out of his nose while laughing! PN: How did you decide to set it up on Facebrowser? W: It was part of the experiment, I want to get into web marketing, you know? And social AIs are the shit there, so I thought I'd try creating a small private page to run a simple rumor bot. I added a few more columns of random words to pull strings of words from, and there you go. PN: Did you expect such a success? W: Not at all, I originally set the page as private, but Facebrowser lags so much, I closed the tab before it was actually set as private, so it was left public. PN: Many believe, as indicated in the description, that the random strings of text posted on the page are facts fed by people. What do you think about this? W: I didn't expect that. I put a random description because why not, but given how stupid and random the text strings come out, I didn't expect anyone to take it seriously. PN: Is it a concern, for you? W: Well... Additionally, the most tried and tested seduction techniques seem to have a relatively mediocre success rate. « I tried sending DMs to random girls saying I wanted to empty myself in their mouths, it's a very legit technique and it should work. », declared a Facebrowser seducer. Sadly, it would appear their subtle attempts at romantic seduction ultimately failed, leaving them in a tight spot - and with a tight ballsack. And it's unfair, life sucks sometimes, damn. But sometimes, you just go and have a shitty week, shit, it sucks. People can really be so ridiculous, it's like life is sending you a message sometimes. Could use someone to sit on my face or something, hit me up in DMs. You try hard, but it doesn't work because people don't care and act like idiots. And they claim they're cool, but at parties, they don't talk to noone but their friends, smh my head tbh honestly. Luckily, a lot is currently being invested in research and medical technologies, to solve such issues. Short description: As it is right now a high-end private jet costs 1.1 million$ at the LS airport dealership, at the same time a sports plane in Sandy shores also costs 1.1 million$. Detailed description: The sports planes are way too overpriced and this is possibly why we don't see anyone flying or using planes in RP on the server. The fact that a private jet costs the same as a low budget sports plane tells a little about the mispriced planes. With cheaper sports planes more RP scenarios such as courier services or drug smuggling would evolve using planes as the means of transportation. SCUBA Gear By @Ribsey The scuba suits were added to GTA Online with the Doomsday Heist DLC and finally gave us a chance to explore the ocean depths with our friends. Because GTA World offers the online character models for your own RP character, it is possible to piece together a set of functional scuba gear. But how? While this is common knowledge among several players, those unfamiliar with the system on this server will be left frustrated and scratching their heads on how to keep the tank on. To begin you need at least $100 to purchase a single outfit. I suggest $1,000 to cover any mistakes/adjustments you may make to the outfit. Head to a clothes store. The most convenient are the three dotted around the Vespucci canals: - Vespucci Flip Flops (1) - Sub Urban in Del Perro (2) - Binco in Little Seoul (3) Vespucci Flip Flops is the best option. The marker takes you to an interior dimension (sharing the location with the Sub Urban) that lets you preview the clothing in the water without interruption. If you face any issues in this dimension, use /dim to reset. Bear in mind this drops you back into the main game world EXACTLY where you are when you type /dim. To start, find the following in "Shirts": Male ID: 243 Female ID: 251 Hide contents Next, find these in "Pants": Male ID: 94 Female ID: 97 Hide contents Now for the fins under "Shoes": Male ID: 67 Female ID: 70 Hide contents Diving mask - "Glasses": Male ID: 26 Female ID: 28 Hide contents As with all glasses your preview will not show live. Reveal hidden contents To see the change you would have to save the outfit, but to save money you can refer to XanX's guide HERE: Purchase the outfit. The tank is the object that gives you the ability to breathe underwater indefinitely. However if you try to preview it on land your character will take it off, as the tank is coded to be removed whenever a player emerges from the water. Hide contents To get around this you need to head to the nearest body of water deep enough to trigger the swimming animation. Keeping the menu up, head over to the canals (DO NOT exit the store at the front door with Y if you are in Vespucci Flip Flops, you want to stay in that interior dimension). Once in the water, select the tank and color: Tank in "Undershirts" Male ID: 123 Female ID: 153 Hide contents When your character hits land, they will automatically lose both goggles and the tank and an undershirt will clip through. You can put them back on with /glasses on or /hat on or /outfit at an unlocked boat. If you're planning to take screenshots or videos in 1st person (IC underwater camera for example) you can safely /glasses off underwater and retain the tank. Once done, purchase the outfit again (you won't be charged another $100). Switch to a different outfit and then switch back to the scuba outfit while inside the water to confirm everything spawns correctly.
