The East Side Mob Pirus, also known as the East Grove Pirus (EGP) or the Insane Mob Gang(IMG), is a predominantly black Piru gang in the city of Davis in South Los Santos. The gang is currently pushing into it's fifth decade with a mix of an older & newer generation of  pirus. Before the Mob Pirus became their own stand alone gang they were apart of the much greater Eastside Barson Piru gang. The Pirus were first started as a direct response to the formation of the Carson Crips, a much more aggressive and deeper gang at the time. The Pirus were a neighborhood watch type of organization who protected their neighborhoods from the Crips, who sought out to rob and terrorize the residents of said neighborhoods. As the years went on the Pirus became more aggresive and ruthless themselves due to being heavily involved in the crack-cocaine trafficking in the 80s. The Mob Pirus original enemies were the Santana Blocc Compton Crips, the war was said to have started a Santana member beat and robbed a MOB member for his leather jacket in the late 70s. 

Today the Mob Pirus war with almost every nearby gang. They have been engaged in a bloody back and forth war with the Lueders Park Piru gang, despite the fact that the Mob Pirus were actually first started by the Lueders. The beef is said to have been started over a dice game gone war that ended up in a fatal shooting of a Mob Piru. Today the Mob Piru gang beefs with CV3, CBP, FTP, LHP, SBCC,  WLCC, NHCC, LNHC, POGC, and most other Compton Crip and Compton Varrio gangs.
