It adds absolutely nothing since you can see someone put gloves on without the ame if you're near them.

 

And can we stop scripting roleplay for every single command? We're roleplaying on a text server, you will have to type some stuff and scripted /ame's are just lazy and in my opinion they lower roleplay quality as people see them as a replacement for their own emotes.

 

And yes I use /gloves.

Roleplay putting the gloves on, then use the command. As others have mentioned above, there's no need to script everything and make such details automatic. We're on a roleplay server to roleplay.

It's easy to say "just roleplay putting the gloves on", but when you do that 20 times a day it just becomes repetitive.

Especially when typing the emote yourself doesn't really add much to the scene, at all :x Not much point in forcing everyone to type the full emote each time. Not counting the fact that adding an ame doesn't prevent you from /me'ing further if you want to. 

Lots of people integrate "typing on the phone" or "sending a text" in their /mes in spite of there being an ame each time you text. :x
